Whatacatch combo - Panko crusted white fish filet sandwich
Hannah N.

When I want a big tasty burger, I find myself craving Whataburger. I go in knowing I won't be getting it fast. I personally think service at Whataburger is the slowest of all fast food burger joints. But, it's good and I'd like to think they prepare the food fresher than most. If you live in TX, you already know Whataburger. It's a TX tradition. If you don't, you should definitely make a stop at one the next time you visit The Lone Star State. You can't go wrong with the Whataburger burger, but my ultimate favorite is the Monterey Melt. It's meaty and cheesy burger with grilled veggies, which I seriously love, with a creamy spicy kick! I also really like the Whatacatch fish sandwich. The size of the panko crusted white fish hangs over their big buns! I sometimes add cheese to it and guess what? It's a whole slice of cheese! Side eyeing you, Mickey D's. Their chicken sandwiches, both grilled and fried, are really good and makes it hard to decide between the two. They have onion rings and the fries are not the best but still pretty tasty. Sorry for my earlier comment, Mickey D's. Breakfast items are also good and the fact that you can get it starting at 11:00 pm makes it even more awesome. Sometimes you just crave pancakes and sausage smothered in syrup at midnight you know?? Taquitos, which are their breakfast tacos, are decent. I'm not a fan of the honey butter biscuits which is one of their popular items. It's weird since I'm usually a big fan of sweet/savory combos. The jalapeño cheddar biscuits is where it's at along with the regular biscuit and gravy. The hash browns are in the form of little sticks that are perfect for dunking into their regular or spicy ketchup. This is my go-to location during the week for lunch. The staff here is friendly and efficient which is awesome, because they get quite busy for the rush. I've never had an issue with customer service. Do they always smile or bid me a good day? No, but I don't need them to. The majority are younger and as long as they acknowledge me, I'm happy. I also don't have a problem with order accuracy, but then I keep it simple anyway. My friend makes slight modifications but have always received her food just fine. I've been to many locations. This is definitely one of the better ones.

Some dark nasty onion rings!

These are the nasty onion rings someone at the Saginaw Whataburger thought looked good enough to give to a customer! The only reason I gave them 2 stars because the guy at the drive thru was really trying to be fast. So videos to him but we got the wrong drink, and these nasty onion rings.

Ranch is .38 cents? I wanted one, come on, throw it in the bag and I don't have to leave angry.

Most of the employees and managers are nice at this Whataburger. However, Manager Jimmy is a hot head and not professional.

The burger speaks for itself!…read more I have been to their other location in Garland and listen, food is delicious both places! Always clean, made to order and they are always located in a shopping mall with ample parking. I had the supreme with a double patty( not sure I said double but I took one of the Pattie's off and grounded it into tacos for dinner it was that big) The burger itself was huge, juicy, seasoned and piled high with everything you could think of. They are right around the corner from the outdoor paint hall place so when it was time for lunch I just called in my order, ate and went back to paint balling!

A nice lady greeted me at the cash register. My order was ready to go on time. There was a sign at the register stating that an order of sweet potato fries is smaller than an order of regular fries. I'm not sure why that is. Each order actually had the same amount of fries, but the fries were scant. The burgers are good size, but they were definitely lacking in flavor. They were OK, but for the price, I wish they had been tastier. Years ago, I tried this spot, so I was re-trying it. They are one of the few non-chain options nearby. They are located in the same strip mall as Albertson's, so there is plenty of parking.

One bite, I am hooked! I want to come back and try a diff menu item each time! we got the eggroll,…read morethe burger, bao bun and ramen. Everything was so good and greatly portioned. 10/10 recommen this place!

I left this meal feeling both impressed and confused, which is probably the most honest review I…read morecan give. Let's start with the star of the show: the fried soft-shell crab bao. Good grief, this thing was phenomenal. It may have been the single best item we ordered. The crab was cooked perfectly with a satisfying crunch, the bao was pillowy soft, and they showed admirable restraint with the sauce. Too many places drown everything in mayo and call it creativity. Not here. Every bite was balanced and absolutely delicious. Then there was the pork belly burger, which looked like it was about to become my new favorite burger in Fort Worth. Unfortunately, it never quite got there. The pork belly hadn't rendered enough, making it chewy and difficult to bite through. The beef patty also seemed oddly resistant to being bitten. I shouldn't need the jaw strength of an alligator to eat a burger. My wife ordered the black garlic ramen. She loved the broth and thought the egg was excellent, but the noodles were surprisingly firm and ended up mostly untouched. The kid's meal was probably the easiest win of the night. My son happily devoured the chicken tenders and was thrilled to discover that dessert was included. The Cookie Monster ice cream may have generated more excitement than anything else on the table. Overall, this place feels like a restaurant with some genuinely brilliant ideas and a few execution issues. When they're on, they're REALLY on. That soft-shell crab bao alone is worth the trip. I'd happily come back, but next time I might just order three baos and call it dinner.
