This is by far the worst Whataburger I've been to. I ordered one meal and it took them 30 mins to give it to me. I called inside and then finally the manager decided to start managing his employees who weren't doing anything. I got my food and it was cold. Waste of my time and money. If Whataburger location at Red Oak, TX set out to hire the most disinterested person to take drive through orders they have succeeded. I've just returned home after ordering what I thought was a #2 (Double Meat, Double Cheese Burger) and Whatasized the Drink and Fries. When I got home, I discovered a Whatburger JR. WTF! WTF, Whataburger? Why the ef would I Whatasize the fries and drink for a Whataburger Jr.? The only reason this isn't a 1 star review, because I effing LOVE Whataburger. Train your people to listen and pay attention better. If their attitude suggests they don't want to be there, get someone who wants to be there. I haven't had Whataburger in months, and the moment I convince my wife that this is a great opportunity for Whataburger, you guys screw up my order. So, so disappointed. read more

Worst Whataburger that I have been to. No exaggerations. 1. Took 25 minutes to get through the drive-thru... with only 3 cars in front of us 2. Finally get to the front and the order was wrong. They had us park to the side and wait around 10 minutes to fix the order. 3. Food finally comes out and the order is still wrong. Not complicated at all... asked for a Whataburger with just meat and cheese. No apologies from them. Save yourself some time and go to a different Whataburger. read more

Not sure how it happens, but it seems that every time I drive to Dallas, my bladder and stomach send me a signal right about the time coming hitting Red Oak, Texas. Seeing the Big orange Whataburger sign always puts a smile on my face. Admittedly, I usually eat breakfast and a coffee here, but the place is always clean with smiling friendly staff. Just what I'm looking for on an early morning drive to Dallas. read more

Usually quick and fresh but in the evenings after school when teens are there, they are rude and don't listen to anything you ask for.

The only thing that is good about this place is the food. Not that it's Better than any other whataburger. It takes forever to get food. I've been in line for 20 minutes waiting for food. It's rediculous. This is definitely not the first time this is happened. It's a shame. read more

This was one of the cleanest burger joints I've ever seen. I don't think it's new, but it was spotless and there were employees cleaning the dining area while I was there (2 PM-ish). And when I say cleaning, I don't mean just sweeping the floor, I mean cleaning the windows and countertops and everything. My hat's off to the manager (my ticket says Veronica Hernandez) for running a tight ship. I eat a lot of burgers and see a lot of mis-managed stores where employees are standing around and cutting up instead of cleaning and checking inventory and organizing when the workload is light. Not the case here; this store looked great and smelled good and the food was good and the dining room was very inviting. read more

The always great Whataburger at a decent location, first place to stop and eat on the way up I-35E coming into the Dallas area. Easy off/on, particularly northbound on I-35E. The Whataburger corporation bought out the franchise for this and other Whataburgers in the area in 2008 and since then the service isn't quite as good. Much of the over-the-top friendliness that was previously the hallmark of this location is gone. Drive through service could definitely be improved: Lately they've stopped opening the 2nd lane during their morning rush time as well as not opening the "payment" window (all transactions are handled at just one window now.) It really backs up, so bad that I may have to start going somewhere else rather than spend 10-15 minutes in the drivethrough line. All in all a decent place for a burger (or chicken sandwich or whatever) but not if you're in a hurry. read more

Every time in the last year that I've gone through their drive through and tried to order a shake, their shake machine is "down for cleaning". Seriously think they are lying, since it's never really the same time of day each time. I've worked fast food and I know it's a pain in the ass to make shakes while working headset but it's your job! read more

This is such a poorly run whataburger drive through. I come here once a week and have never waited any less than 20 minutes each time. And by time you get to the pickup window your food has been sitting there cold because they don't know how to manage their drive through. read more

Best food in America. Everytime i leave Texas i have whataburger first thing when i get back

i love whataburger, especially their ketchup. but i do not recommend going to this location for many reasons. the first one is the wait. we were the first ones in line and the staff was so slow that a long line generated behind us. despite the wait, lets talk about the food, first things first there was a hair in my fries, then i went to eat my burger and it tasted like plastic, i don't know about you but i don't want to eat plastic. in from Colorado and i haven't had a whataburger burger in so long, i was ready for it to be delish, sadly it was not. So i don't recommend going to this location. read more
