It smelled like it too. When we went back and told the restaurant about it the girl laughed and just said "okay." Food was standard although the chocolate malt was bland. The most obvious issue was the service; no napkins or ketchup were offered when the meal was brought to me. Was excited to have a Whataburger added to the area. This one near PV mall has only been open close to a month, and they have work to do. Half the order was cold, stale old french fries, and a cooled down burger. They "ran out of soda" but charged us full meal price for the fountain water substitutes. I really hate writing bad reviews but what happened to me was absolutely absurd. As usual Whataburgers have a bad rap for being VERY slow. I know what I'm getting into when I go to any of their locations, but when I get up to the window only to be told to park in the front so someone can give me what I ordered really doesn't make sense? Especially when the people behind me zipped right on through. Not cool. THEN to add insult to injury the place they have you wait blocks people from having to pull out if they are in a parked spot. You guys REALLY need to work on speed or don't have people wait additional time to receive their food OR you move the cones to where no one is blocked in. Also... the person that took my order was incredibly rude and very condescending towards me. I called corporate as they so lovingly told me to do so and corporate did nothing...not sure why they would need to take down my address and phone number to file a complaint? Yea... I ordered $34 worth of food and sat in the drive thu for 10 mins before getting to the window I had my hungry crying toddler in the backseat waiting for his lunch all this to get home and the order is not right.... I ordered cinnamon buns with the kids meal but received graham crackers and also had a small fry i paid for missing. After waiting over 10 mins for the food you would think it'd be steaming hot freshness but it wasn't. My toddler was hungry, crying and ready for a nap so who wants to get back in the car and drive all the way back to the place I get order corrected when it should have been correct from the start. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger and the meat had pink in it. My onion rings were cold. My son ordered a plain cheeseburger and it had mustard on it and a piece of diced onion stuck on the bun. The buns did not seem very fresh. He also ordered the chicken strips and they were also cold. We only live 6 minutes away. We ordered one milk shake and was charged for two. Did not get our ranch dressing. The positive: The young women at the window was nice. When we got home we called the restaurant and the gentleman on the phone said we could come back and they would re-do our order. However this "new" location is in shambles, 4 out of 5 times in a month I go and their Soda machine had "no carbonation" how do you guys manage to ruin your 2-3 soda machines? These are brand new and shouldn't have an issue at all. Do you guys not know how to hook up the Co2 properly or do you need more training? What's the deal??? It's soda... I'm always missing food items from order(s). The sweet tea I received instead tasted like dirty ice, unchanged tea bag hours old Every time I say I have a reward you guys tell me it will be taken off at p.o.s, I always get charged without my reward being used. Another time I ordered biscuits and gravy and who ever put it in the bag put it in side ways and I have soggy biscuits in a box and a bag full of gravy. Come on people... Christina provided me with outstanding customer service. She was very kind and she went out of her way to over achieve the service she provided me with. This was my second time here so I didn't really understand the drive through. I have a small car so I sneaked my way through the cones like a ninja of the night. I felt bad that Christina had to walk out my food when the lane I was in was closed. She was super nice about it though and I really hope she gets a promotion! The cheeseburger was HUGE with a perfect amount of lettuce, tomato, onion, Mayo and ketchup (I asked for no mustard). The fries were okay but I liked the burger so much it like made up for the fries. We waited in the drive thru line for about 5 minutes, then a lady came on the com and asked what we would like we, told her we had two separate orders then she told us to give her one moment. About another 5 minutes go by and she comes back into the com and asked what we would like, not even being able to get through half of the first order she interrupted us, and said sorry i'm backed up give me on moment. Another 10 minutes goes by and she starts taking orders from the people in the lane next to us. Confused we just waited assuming our order was next, but to our surprise she went on to take the next 3 cars orders in that lane. At that point we had been there well over 20 minutes and still nothing. We waited probably I wanna say about another 10 minutes before we decided to leave. I called and asked to speak to the manager and I found out she was the one taking the orders. She went on to tell me that never happened, we were never there, she never spoke to anyone like that and never would. I then tell her that we just pulled away it wasn't even 30 seconds ago when we left. She then tells us there's nothing she can do and tells me to call back at 9am to speak to her manager. Worst Whataburger around. I've tried this location three times now and at this point, I would rather drive to the Bell road location (even though this is right around the corner from me). Dr. Pepper was flat, fries were half full, and the drive-thru takes forever (despite there only being a few cars in front of me). This has been my experience every time. Great staff, great food! No complaints it was very good and in a good neighborhood. I got the patty melt and my wife got the avocado bacon burger and she loved. Back to my burger, it had perfect amount of sauce and I asked for extra grilled onions and it was amazing! As I said earlier the staff was very friendly and brought the food to me and brought me ketchup cups. They're spicy ketchup is my favorite and I highly recommend if you haven't tried it try it. read more
