Not sure what happened to this location, we have visited many times during summer 2021. Weeks ago we drop in about 7:10am . The place is closed, Drive thru is closed with a sign up saying " Employee shortage"... Weeks go by and the lobby is still closed, limited hours on the drive thru. Then we drop by about 7:20am, the lobby is open and we ate. 3 days later the lobby is locked up again, drive thru is closed too. We are done with this location. Whataburger has the best breakfast. When ever I am in Arizona I make it a point to stop and have breakfast at Whataburger.

This whataburger location actually makes me embarrassed to call myself a Texan. As a Texan, I have always loved whataburger and was ecstatic to learn there was one down the street from my home. I've eaten here twice and somehow these employees can't figure out how to make gravy and put it in a box. Poorly run locations like this are the reason whataburger is losing its battle with In-N-out. The first time I ordered here I received no gravy. The second time they poored some sort of milky substance that had the same consistency as water that I assume was supposed to be gravy into a cup and stuck that in my chicken strip box. I do not understand the disconnect here. Again, embarrassingly bad. read more

The management at this location is horrible several months back I ordered to go and received the wrong order the the lady on the phone said to come back and they would correct the order I was to far away heading to work and she said no problem I'll write your name down and next time your in the area we will give you your meal. The next time I was in the area I tried to get my meal and the manager said we only save the names for 2 to 3 days and basically to bad I should have come back in a few days. The dining room is still closed. Drive thru NEVER gets the order right. Order chicken fingers, don't get the chicken. Order a #1 burger with ketchup instead and you get a bacon cheeseburger with mustard. Order a drink and you don't get ice. Oops, they forgot my fries again. Food is usually barely warm. As feeble and futile as it is to rate another franchise, I have to admit I was a little giddy in trying whatever made this Southern-seaboard establishment so popular amongst the Houston Rappers and other Southern entertainers alike. The location seemed new and dining area was spotless. I ordered their general Whataburger with fries and a drink that came out to roughly $5. Their niche? They bring out a tray full of condiments and napkins with your food so you grab what you want. Neat. As my friend was watching me take my initial bite, he knew what the verdict would be. He thought I hated it. Wrong. I thought it was flat and precisely cafeterian. The only form of moisture was mustard and the meat itself was mundanely unseasoned. The fries likewise had no salt but were well-sized and well-fried. As for the drink... keeping up with the Texas tradition they had sweet tea. Plus one. I could see why this franchise is open 24/7 and why young adults enjoy it's existence especially between the hours of dusk to dawn. Ever since I tried Whataburger for the first time is Texas, they have been one of my favorites. Since there wasn't any in SoCal, I was very happy when I relocated to the Valley that there were plenty of Whataburgers to pass around!! Been here a few times, never had any problems! Im 5months pregnant and went thru drive thru after work and got home and realized my order was totally wrong I called very calm and polite and asked for a refund or for them to deliver my correct order and the guy was really rude and short with me and said they couldn't do that that I would have to come back....I got upset and said I'm pregnant and its wasn't me that messed up and should have to come back and he hung up on me....I've been in the service industry my entire life and have never talked to a customer that way. I like that she recommended a Dr. Pepper shake which was the only good part of the hamburger/fry combo. The hamburger Pattie was very thin and the bun was large and dried out. For a fast food burger Whataburger is great! I've come thru their drive-thru many times over the years and never had a very long wait. If you get a bad burger or something is wrong, believe me when I say it has happened to me once, I wrote to the corporate office, and they corrected the problem pronto. Whataburger really cares to retain customers and make you happy. I like the taste of their burgers, because they use....real meat! I would rather go here than McDonald's, because I really am not sure they do use real anything there (i.e., fake meat, fake ice cream and so forth). The biggest plus with Whataburger is if you ruin the turkey for Thanksgiving Day, Whataburger is open every day of the year including Xmas...LOL! read more

The online ordering app hasn't worked in over a week. What's the point in having an app to order online if it's always down. At least you could say it's down when the app opens.
