Has really gone downhill since Chicago group purchased a while back. Service is slow and spotty, food tastes less fresh, and going there now raises my blood pressure for it's always something an issue such as missing items, wrong drink order, slow drive through,etc. attention to details is lacking here and it shows. I would love to be able to give this place negative stars. My husband and I just returned from having breakfast at that Whataburger. I ordered two sausage, egg and cheese taquitos. I ate one no problem when I went to open the second one to put some picante sauce and I noticed a big black curly hair. I immediately took it to the front and showed them and luckily they threw it away. I went back to my seat or I waited for over 10 minutes. Finally, my husband went up to the front and they acted very surprised, but went back and made it. I think it made the cook mad because I had about one for the amount of eggs, and it wasn't even rolled it was sort of watered up inside the wrapper. This Whataburger used to be the absolute best, but that was probably four years ago maybe longer. It's very sad to see a great place go downhill! We will not be going back there read more

Coffee was terrible and worse yet, cold! Hash browns were cold too which is probably explained by that even though order was placed with their app before leaving house order still wasn't ready. If I could give 1/2 a star I would. I ordered breakfast over 25 minutes ago and I'm still waiting for a breakfast platter. The coffee wasn't available and had to get back in-line to ask for mediocre coffee after they gave me a cup and knowing full well there's no coffee. I first ate a whataburger as a kid on a family vacation headed to the coast.We stopped and ate at the original in Beeville. Ive eaten many whataburgers since then and without a doubt the best in Dallas/Ft. Worth is this newer one in Murphy. They handed me a part of my order, and I asked was the rest of it ready and they said they didn't know and walked away to check. It wasn't even a good Whataburger, which is my favorite burger. No problems living here for 19 years. All of sudden, a worker decided to quite literally throw the food through the window, and an entire large fries spilled in the car. And as he's walking away after the fact the fries spilled, he says "oh be careful" sarcastically; doing nothing to accommodate the mistake, and says with attitude and sarcasm again "you're welcome". everything about this place was disgusting. the lady in the front was nice to me and my family I'll give them that but everything else about this experience was terrible. we sat in one of the booths and had a lovely staring contest with ants going across the windowsill, next the bacon in my taquito was so hard and stale. not edible! another thing is that pretty much every drink was out or tasted like crap. my last concern is when my family was handed an incorrect order, why did the lady in the front take our order back? how will I know she's not reusing the same awful food into our next "prepared meal." truly disappointed with this location. Staff short with me when ordering food. Manager hanging around not engaged, ignoring the dirty restaurant. Extremely cold in the restaurant. Staff hanging out in the kitchen having a good time while manager watches and doesn't address the inappropriate behavior. Definitely won't be returning to this Whataburger. This Whataburger location has never let me down. They're usually quick, the food is almost always hot (over 5+ years of going here, occasionally a burger is luke warm; it's fast food) If you've never been to Whataburger (???) this is a good one to stop at. The fries and hashbrowns are nice and salty, with the right amount of crunch. The manager is always walking around greeting customers and he's been at the location as long as i can remember. My and my boyfriend ordered two separate meals at this Whataburger on March 12, 2023. He ordered a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. After waiting 10 minutes for the food, we took it home. We had noticed after a few bites that the chicken was completely undercooked. We called the Whataburger responsible and received little apology. We were told to come to the store, and so we did. They said they were unable to log in to the register, and proved by hovering around it aimlessly for around 3 minutes. After multiple failed attempts to log into the register, he was compensated with two 5 dollar bills. This behavior is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Apologies were few and far between, with minimal care for my boyfriends well being or health. We can understand the overworking of employees but then there's a fine line between stressed employees and ones that don't care. Safe to say we will not be eating at this location again. read more

I have been going to this Whataburger since I moved to the area in 2012. Had always been fresh and delicious and the orders were almost always perfectly correct with additions/subtractions until the last year or so. Over the last year, almost always have at least one or two burgers made incorrectly or missing completely. Tonight though has reached the last straw. As I am driving away from the curbside pick-up area, the guy that brought my food out came sprinting out of the restaurant and jumped in front of my car. He tells me that there is extra food in my bag that was for another order. Now, the only reason someone would do this is because they plan on TAKING BACK THE FOOD THEY GAVE TO ONE CUSTOMER AND GIVING IT TO ANOTHER! Who does this? I am not disappointed that I lost out on free food, but I am horrified that they would re-serve food given to someone else. This has to be a health code violation of some sort. Literally the worst service I have ever received from any food establishment. I ordered online and did curbside pick up this morning. After waiting there from 10:40-11am without anyone coming to bring me my food we went inside and it still took about 10 minutes for anyone to even recognize us. Once I get in the car to eat my taquito I realize it doesn't have any cheese. I then proceeded to go through the drive through since it was raining and I didn't want to get wet AGAIN and I sat there for 30 minutes. Once I got to the window the man said breakfast was over with and the only thing he could do was add a slice of cheese. How is any of that my fault? And btw if you haven't put two and two together. My food was cold and soggy by the time anyone even helped me so here I am now with a slice of cheese on a cold taquito that won't even melt. I don't know why I ever even came back to this location because they have always given me the WORST service and the man at the window was just RUDE! Whataburger Murphy has lost our service forever.
