Food was awesome..place clean, friendly staff..had Whataburger's 3 days I was there it was awesome..the breakfast is on point

I didn't realize this at the time but when you ordered a combo meal, they offered a kids meal as well, but the cashier didn't offer us that when we order the combo meal so that was kind of a bummer. The burger is good for its value, but it's not a great burger. It's just a pretty standard burger. Nothing really stood out to me at all and it really is just like a second McDonald's, but better quality and better value not much else to say for this location. read more

My first Whataburger experience and it did not disappoint. This location is in the heart of McKinney, a short drive away from Historic Downtown McKinney! We came here out of desperation after some games of pickleball at Finch Park to grab some food. Not much is open late here so we opted for Whataburger since I've never had it before. The drive here was pretty easy but the lot it was in had a lot of holes, so be careful with your car. We went inside so I could peruse the menu. I ended up getting one of their current special burgers- Bacon Steakhouse Double... sans bacon. The staff was friendly and very helpful! The food came out pretty quick and we took it to-go. The food was good even after a drive back to our hotel. Overall, a great first time here! read more

Whataburger is the BEST! literally the ONLY place open 24/7 besides Jack and I love both but I loveeeeee Whataburger cinnamon rolls *especially when they're fresh as can be , soooo good! I am in and out so fast and i love that about whataburger, they have saved me so many times on the way to school in the morning when I didnt have time to make breakfast but needed to get my kiddo something before football at 5am, nothing else is open but their BOB (Breakfast on a Bun) are great for mornings in a hurry. Service is super quick *most of the time* and I appreciate how quick they are and my order, is USUALLY right, but when it's wrong I just go inside and they dont question me. They should give something free when the order is wrong though, I did go through the drive through for a reason.... not to have to go inside. It's pretty quiet inside this location especially when I go, super early in the morning or super late at night. 4 stars because unfortunately my order has been wrong the last 3 times I've been here, but they always make it right when I go inside. I much prefer the location at Custer & 380, because Phillip is the man and I will drive further just to see him because he is so friendly and ALWAYS makes sure my order is piping hot and correct! I typically stop here to grab a drive-thru " breakfast on a bun, BOB" when hitting the road heading north. For Whataburger aficionados in the area, you know of what I speak. An unbelievably delectable patty of breakfast sausage, egg(not the McDonald kind), and cheese on an impossibly soft toasted bun. Its a winner, so if you haven't tried one...! Ive also had their standard Whataburger hamburger and its good. Not quite as good as other Whataburgers i the area but close. read more

I have not been to a Whataburger in years but everyone talks about the great burgers. So thought I would stop by for a burger and fries while traveling. I went with a jr burger with cheese and all the toppings. I have to say not impressed. Burger was so thin and dry and toppings had no flavor, fries were okay but not hot crispy like other fast food places. The spicy ketchup adds some flavor to the meal. I am not sure if all whataburgers are at this level of mediocre food, but I wouldn't be back. read more

I was at your restaurant today @ 11:48 am as I placed my order in ENGLISH, cashier Deyanira T. responded with " I don't speak Spanish". I responde with What? In English. She again repeated I don't speak Spanish." I had spoken to her in English. Deyanira T. called a Spanish speaker to take my order. I informed her I had ordered in English. The other employee stated yes I heard you, you ordered #2. Dayanara tried to deny me services because she assumed I spoke only Spanish. As your employee she represents you. Being native to CA I'm no stranger to chain burger joints. In n out clearly being a west coast favorite, but five guys, feddy's, as well as shake shack all have Whataburger beat in my opinion. I had flown in late, and it was my first time in Dallas. My friends that had moved here from out of state said this place is a staple, and despite it not being the best, it's more of a right of passage. I wanted to follow their advice so I checked this place out. Ultimately I wasn't very impressed. Everything seemed to be just "okay". A place I would probably stop by in a pinch if I was hungry, but nothing I would go out of my way for. The burger was oily, but the fries were hot and crispy. I love this place! Especially the burgers and strawberry milk shakes. Definitely my go to fast food place!

It's honestly faster to go to the one on 380/Lake forest. Not only that but the amount of times of gotten home to having half the stuff I ordered is ridiculous. Staff is nice, must be poor management/training. Tonight my burger looked like it was hit by a semi truck and I was not given my fries, even says it on my receipt. Unfortunately enough is enough and I will not be going to this location in the future. If you are brave enough to try, enjoy your 30 min drive through wait with only 4 cars. read more
