On Friday morning, I stopped by there on my way to Austin to get breakfast and a milkshake for a friend who was in the hospital in Austin. After questioning how thick the shakes were, I told them I why I was asking. They were so kind. After making it, they put ice in a larger cup and put the shake in it so it would still be cold when I got to the hospital. If I could give a "-2" rating I would in a heartbeat. This is THE most poorly-managed Whataburger restaurant I have ever been in. The staff stand (no, they slowly shuffle around), disregard customers glances by not looking at them while the staffer stands behind the counter and complains of "I'm tired", "I can't wait to call corporate"...without any customer support. One lady at the cash register did respond when I asked about another customer waiting for 10 mins before I got there. Her response actually resulted in the lady getting her food about 2 mins later. Unfortunately, as usual, the order was wrong (missing several items FROM AN ONLINE ORDER! It doesn't get any easier, does it?). Ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger and got one with mustard. I was driving out of town and had already driven 10 miles away before I noticed. The manager on duty wanted me to come back instead of refunding my money. Very slow service as well. read more

Whataburger in Manor ,Tx .....SUCKS!!!!!!! My order wasn't correct and my burger was the same temperature as the lettuce and tomatoes....COLD! A drive thru burger , but I went inside and waited for a cold burger. By far the worst Whataburger I've been too. First the tables were absolutely dirty and seemed like the dining room wasn't cleaned that day. Then they proceeded to mess up my order and when confronted the manager argued stating she was "right" with an attitude. Also the wait time to get food was an hour long with little to no other costumers. read more

I cannot express my hated for this place. The food is wonderful but the staff is ridiculous! They have not once gotten my order correct. It's not that hard! If I want a sweet tea, that doesn't mean a Diet Coke. If I want chicken strips, that doesn't mean a burger. There's absolutely no excuse to consistently screw my order up this much. It's not like something simple like "Oh I said no pickles and they forgot. Oh well I'll take them off." Today they even offered to upgrade my fries for like 75¢ and they didn't even give me my fries. 5 Stars for a delightful customer service experience with Brian this morning. Just before 11am today I placed an online order for breakfast for my husband. I wasn't sure how it worked here so I went to far lane of Drive-thru and asked. The lady at intercom gave me options, and informed me of the quickect route, thank-you! I went around to the front door and waited for someone to come assist. Brian comes out promptly, and makes sure he's taking care of the customers in the order they arrived. Brian went to my passenger window & stood back, then pleasantly asked for name on order. You'd be surprised how many people still get right in your face, paying no mind to Covid '19. This is especially important to me as my husband has a terminal illness, and Covid '19 could quickly become lethal. There was a few condiments I wanted. Our experience, Sunday October 4th at the Whataburger around 2:30pm. My husband & I went 'inside' to eat lunch at the WB in Manor. (Yes, now open to customers) We think the employees got used to not having customers inside during quarantine that they huddled in a section of the dining area, laughing, cussing, & carrying on. Difficult to enjoy our meal. There was a customer waiting for his food, with the #40 card. An employee walked around mumbling something with food on a tray, My husband happened to barely understand "#40", but by then the food was given to one of the employees in that huddle. By the time we left, the customer #40 still hadn't received his food. If we were that customer, we would have complained, "where's my food". Terrible, Terrible!!! read more

This Whataburger was terrible. Tell me why I pull in the drive through at 7:30pm and I don't leave the drive through until 8:15pm and all I ordered was 2 salads. Keep in mind when I pulled up there was 2 cars ahead of me. Does it really take 45 minutes to make a salad. Then to top it off they gave me the wrong kind of salad. Ordered an adult meal with a Dr Pepper and a kids meal with a sprite and fruit snacks. At the window, they handed me a 32 oz sprite.... I said "this was for a kids meal..." she shrugged and responded "just give her a little bit of it!" I just looked at her and she asked for the cup back and said "I don't know why he did that" I was like," you still handed it to me...." 32 oz cups don't go with kids meals, tf??? Yep. The two star average for this location is accurate as heck. What sets this location back is service. Bluntly, the service here makes the surliest, slowest employee at a post office or a McDonald's seem like the "employee of the month" at Chick-Fil-A. Today's experience while driving out of Austin was an experience in slow, disinterested staff. Even early in the evening, the line of customers inside was getting deep with no one from the staff making any effort to help or open another cash register. The ice machine was barely working and when I reported it, one employee made a big production of showing it working. Also, unlike most locations, the beverage area didn't have any lemon packets for the iced tea. When I asked for the lemon packets, the lady behind the counter asked me exactly how many I wanted and grudgingly provided them to me. I'd also note that well over a quarter of the tables were taken by employees doing some sort of training -- just before the dinner rush. My dinner wasn't bad, although the fries could've benefited from more time in the fryer. While I don't mean to sound greedy, the order of fries was definitely on the skimpier side. Very disappointed this location is so close to our home, but there is always a 30 minute- 45 minute wait to get your food at this drive thru. Every time we place an order ether the burger is always made wrong or you get cold fries/onion rings. This store has not been consistent since opening. Before driving off be sure to look at your order, because they will not answer the phone or call you back to fix any issues! read more

If I could actually rate this Whataburger with negative stars I would. This was the ABSOLUTE WORSE experience I have ever had at ANY Whataburger location. We literally waited AT the drive thru window, AT THE WINDOW, for 30 minutes. No one came to the window to tell us our wait time would be long, no one apologized for the wait, no one offered water or a reason why we were waiting so long. However, they immediately took our money when we pulled up to the window. We sat for 30 minutes observing workers joking around, laughing, conversating, and looking as if they had nothing to do, even though the line was around the building and we literally sat AT THE WINDOW for 30 minutes. Then to top it all off,, after waiting,, our order was wrong.. We wouldn't have known if we hadn't checked our bags. AND THEN when we were making sure they finally had it right, a young lady, I assume was the manager, came to the window and asked us to move up and check our order, the nerve! Every time we come here you wait 30min or longer you get cold fries or order made wrong. Never consistent it has been this way since it open years ago you would think they would have it together by now but nope same inconsistency. This place is a mess. It's sooo slow, and if you're on the outside lane expect to wait even longer. They will serve people out of order, so you'll already have your food and be waiting behind someone who is waiting on theirs. I'm not one to eat when I drive, so just keep mine under a heat lamp and serve these people in order so mines not cold by the time I make it home to eat, thanks. Sooo slow. The outside line is especially slow, expect people 5 cars after you to get theirs first. That little girl servicing the outside lane is in now rush, trust me. This isn't the first time either. The. Slowest. Whataburger. In. Texas. It's right by my house so I keep making the repeated mistake of going there. No complaints about the food quality. Servers are very friendly as well, but clueless. They clearly don't spend enough time training their employees which causes the majority of their delays. I use the app to earn points and to pay. And the past three times I have been, the employees had no idea how to use the barcode to pay for my order and had to wait for someone to come and show them. I sat in line for 5 minutes today. When I got to the window to pay (for my Medium Powerade. That's it.) I sat another THREE minutes while the girl waited for someone to help her ring up my order. Finally, 8 minutes later, I got my drink. What the hell was I thinking. I hate everything Walmart stands for but next time k want a drink I'll just got there. I foolishly keep thinking this location will get better, but I've been every week the past two months and I swear it gets slower each time. I've sat longer than 15 minutes before. Fast food? Just wanted to come back and give Manor Whataburger props where they're due. Things have much improved, and my last few visits have gone without a hitch. Sure, you may sometimes wait... but for hot, fresh food I'm good with that. Their onion rings are always outstanding, and Whataburger is pretty much the only place I bother to order them. Only once have I tasted the faintest bit of stale oil (unlike a certain drive-in burger place in town who I simply can not order anything fried from, because I gag over their old ass oil- EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.)... Anyway, just wanted to thank Whataburger for stepping up their game & giving us really good burgers, onion rings & fries these days. Whataburger is my favorite restaurant, for multiple reasons: You cannot beat the taste of a Whataburger with Bacon and Cheese, period. They're open 24 hours a day.
