This location is the absolute worst Whataburger I've ever been to. Service is horrifically slow ALL THE TIME. I have seriously gone to a sit down restaurant had a meal and arrived back at my home faster than I can get through the drive thru at this location. It's been this way the past 5 years I've lived in hickory creek. I frequent a location on 380 (cross roads) during the lunch rush and never experience slow service like this location. read more

I'm not one to complain but this is 3rd bad experience I have had here. Today I ordered a 3 pcs chicken tender and paid to add another, never got it! I also requested gravy also did not receive. Drive-thru takes forever and they have multiple lanes but can manage them in a timely matter...very inconvenient.

Normally this Whataburger is good- and I always say they have the best fries....however, tonight was an epic fail. We brought our grandson here for dinner, the fries were OLD and CRUNCHY....we asked for fresh fries, but instead of making us fresh fries as they should have - they mixed in the ones we had taken back with some that were not quite as old...they were terrible, the old dried up fries we took back should have been placed in the trash and not served again. This is unacceptable and really ruined our experience which in the past was much better than this one. Note to mgmt- if you cut corners and provide sub-standard food to loyal customers, they will go elsewhere the next time, as we intend to do. read more

Don't go to lane B! The food is good. The people are nice to a point but they can only do so much. Corporate sucks. Don't expect great service but you'll get want you want. Just don't go in the second lane. It's fake. Best of luck to the employees. read more

Waited 30 minutes in the drive through - they get the order all wrong (gave us some else's) - go back in and they screw it up a second time. It was not that busy - only four cars in front of us at drive through. Chicago sucks - begins the downfall of Whataburger. read more

This place has gone downhill so much in the last couple years. Customer Service is horrible, and the orders have been consistently wrong. Tonight, for instance, I ordered a double Whataburger, with 2 slices of cheese and grilled jalapeno added. I also ordered fancy ketchup for my onion rings, which they often forget. What I got was a single patty, NO cheese, 4 tiny jalapeno slices, and two quarter size tomato slices, all on a bun that was assumingly squished by a hand, because the finger impressions were still there. Oh, and NO KETCHUP!!! I called in to complain to the manager, but I have a feeling the person I talked to was not the manager because she hesitated to give me her name after I asked for it, and quietly stated it in an almost whisper, through several "ums" and "wells" while obviously opening a door to another room. Her apology was "I mean, i'm sorry, not sure why they would do that". She offered a free order the next time I come in, but honestly, I don't think I'll be going back. Came to whataburger and wanted to order separate orders and the lady said that wasn't possible. Then asked for a kids burger meal and asked for lettuce and they said that was not possible. I was hear a couple of days ago and asked for the same thing and they gave it to me. I've been coming to whataburger for YEARS and have ordered lettuce on kids meals many times and they always do it. I asked them why that wasn't possible and they were very rude and never explained the reason. read more

The reason I'm giving it four stars is because sadly I wasn't able to order through uber eats , yes I probably could have order through another app from them but I perfer uber eats over every other delivery app because I've had issues with others . But also because I just had issues with whataburger in highland village flower mound area and they wouldn't answer the phone but this store did in a matter of seconds was there to answer my questions and had an amazing attitude I appreciate y'all . Too bad I couldn't order but your help was amazing and made things a little bit easier for me . The thing I like about this Whataburger is that we see the same employees working just about every time we visit. That means so much to know that this location is honoring their employees enough to keep them around. & the foods always hot & fresh! read more

As always Amazing for all the family. We all get what we want. It is a little expensive but it's a ton of food.

Just like everything north of Lewisville lake everything is slow and at 11:33 I've waited about 19mins in drive thru for my order and got it wrong even gave me the wrong drink. Don't bother going anywhere in the lake cities area for a late night snack unless u want to starve to death and get your order wrong still. Stay at home and eat if your hungry at night. read more

Said the shake machine was down and it takes two hours to clean then another hour to do whatever. Came back 4 hours later and got the same response. Our friends live near here and two of us went to pick up food. I normally don't rate fast food chains but I was annoyed by this. I ordered chicken strips & fries and said no drink. When we got in the car I realized that the cashier had charged me for a meal instead of ringing up the two items separately. This means I was overcharged by $.30. No big deal really. So then we got back to the house and realized that they didn't include the upsized fries we had paid for. So we were overcharged an additional $.75. Still not a big deal at a total overcharge of $1.05. However it annoys me that he didn't just ring it up correctly. I left a four star review least time I came because of cleanliness. But the consistency of the poor service of the late night crew is astounding. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a sad and a less but dead environment. The employees talk like you are ruining their night by ordering from them. I would normally not let that bother me as I understand that the employees are not making tip money. But as my order is messed up the cashier did not try to fix the error. I was so frustrated that I just took the order. I feel bad making my friends come to whataburger to this especially when my friends wanted something else. I have been at this location during the day and the service is great. But the night service needs a lot of work. read more

I have found this location to be hit or miss. I'd say 40% of the time my order is wrong in some way. Also, sometimes the wait in the drive through is excessive. I don't really think a 20 minute wait for fast food is reasonable. I love whataburger so I deal thesev things and if it is just me I can handle it. However, when we get home and find out my 6 year olds burger is messed up it is a bad deal for me. This has happened on numerous times. I wish this location was more consistent. read more

I went with a few relatives to this place, and ordered a plain Whataburger WITHOUT tomatoes, lettuce, or pickles. I get my burger, horrible presentation, and there were tomatoes, even though I clearly stated I did not want any. My order wasn't the only mess-up, though. My cousin ordered a plain burger with cheese and ketchup only. He received a burger without cheese, and with mustard and onions!? On top of that, the person who paid for our meal asked for change for a twenty, and didn't get any change at all!! It was a total disaster. read more

we love Whataburger! All the employees and managers there are very nice. I have to give a huge thumbs up to one employee named Kristen. Everyone in our town knows this sweet woman. The food and staff is here is awesome, but Kristen makes this place. She's always wiping tables, taking out trash, getting soda refills, bringing the food out to the tables, etc. This woman is always busy but has exceptional customer service to everyone who walks into the doors of this establishment.
