Went here today this morning before my flight back home and it was my first time and I will say I love it I got the -patty melt with jalapeño ranch and jalapeños super yummy with gravy 11/10 -mushroom burger with jalapeño 8/10 The lady who helped me was super kind and made sure that the order was correct and was super attentive. The Hickory Creek location is incredibly slow, even knowing when you order from Whataburger, it's going to take a minute regardless. Ordering in the app doesn't help either. My order has never been within the "expected" pickup time when doing so, and rarely even close. However, the workers are always nice and friendly and never mess up the food. read more

blonde lady who seemed to be manager geeked out over the lemonade. paid for an arnold palmer and even showed her the receipt and she was snarky over helping myself to the half tea and half lemonade. the cashiers were all busy and did not fill the cup up with half lemonade. was told that ordering an arnold palmer is only for half ice tea and half zero calorie minute maid rather than the standard (across every other whataburger) fresh lemonade. will proceed with caution when ordering an arnold palmer drink in the dining room. in the drive thru have had zero issues with it. the staff are friendly and fast and when dining in come out to serve the food and offer napkins and condiments which is nice. read more

Well, I waited 2 years to go back and try this place again, and wouldn't you know it, it was just as bad as ever. I was the only car in line when I ordered and after almost 20 minutes in the drive through the line stretched all the way around the corner. Surprisingly, my fries were cold and shriveled up. Walked in and young employee told me they couldn't help me because they were on break. Then they ordered food so I had to wait for them when I was just going to pickup an online order. I always have to show them my receipt to get my cup or sauce. Like maybe you should check the receipt to see what my items were before handing over the order. read more

I watched many friends of their employees get treated like Kings and Queens, at the same time they messed up orders for many older adults. The management does force standards for these kids, the management let them do whatever they want. Im ashamed about this entire situation. If you come in the morning you will most likely be greeted and have your order taken by a sweet older woman named Sherri. She will take your order and bring it out to you while all the other workers just stand around and watch her stay busy. She always happy and ready to work. This place is always clean (including the bathrooms) and the food is always hot and fresh. Not much to complain about really. Me and my friend come here pretty often, but since we both work the night shift and usually come here to eat around midnight so we prob see the night shift more often, and boy are they are a goofy bunch of people. I love it, tbh. There is one worker on the night shift who seems like she hates her life and it shows, I try to just ignore it and go on with my day. But overall I really like this location above the others that we occasionally visit. read more

I love this place and especially the food it so good. I recommend the whatachicken sandwich meal it is so good every time I go. The only thing I wish was better was their service they are very slow. We order ahead of time so that we will get our food faster and we still find ourselves waiting for 10 minutes after we were supposed to get our food. I showed up with my girlfriend at the drivethrough, and when we ordered, i had to repeat 4 times. not the employees fault, he probably just had problems hearing. when I pulled forward, they brought us our drinks after 7 minutes, and we had to wait another 20 minutes for them to bring us one of the three things we ordered. eventually they brought us the rest 35 minutes after we originally ordered. only when we got home, we realized they had messed up at least one thing on every single item we had ordered. the drive thru worker was extremely kind, but all of the other workers we saw were not helpful, and just seemed annoyed the entire time. read more

This Whataburger is the worst. They are so slow and then mess up the order every time. Tonight I ordered through the app for pick up and my confirmation email showed it would be ready between 5:59 - 6:02pm. My grandson went to get it and it wasn't ready until 6:20pm. When he got home my Whataburger Jr. meal wasn't in the bag!! I called to request a refund and was told because I ordered via the app they can't issue a refund. I intentionally came through the drive thru because I have a serious knee injury that makes walking extremely painful. So my grandson and I went to eat here today and damn.......ordered and sat down. 17 minutes later, we got our order and it was soooooo wrong. I figured the food would be hot and fresh since it was a little after 2pm and they were a little busy . Boy.....was I wrong. No gravy with the chicken strips, no small shake as ordered, and my cheese burger......the patty was folded in half and the cheese was just plopped on. So I took it to the counter and asked for the Mgr. I explained that I would like a fresh burger and he said that he would fix it. A few short minutes later, I got this burger that STILL WAS NOT FRESH. See picture. The picture is 15 seconds after getting the "fresh hit burger". What's wrong with the cheese...? Why is the cheese not melted.....as it should on a fresh hot burger. I guess I will need to stop going to this place for a hot, fresh burger, AS THE ADVERTISE. The food at WAB is always wonderful! Fresh and hot. The service is always wonderful as well. The timely arrival of the food however, even on a Monday at 2:45pm, is rough. Sitting in the drive thru waiting for a simple order (#1 with fries, and a #2 with fries and a side of ranch) has taken roughly 15-25 minutes just for me to receive. Multiple cars behind me have left with their food & drinks and are headed home whereas I've been sitting here and gone through 1/2 of my playlist just waiting for my order. Every time Joseph H takes my order, he always finds a way to mess it up. Joseph will repeat the order back to me and I will correct him, then when I receive my order it's wrong. Today Joseph H made the comment, I guess I need to start listening better. I normally eat at this location 3-4 times a week because this is the only place that's open when I'm working. I have never had any issues when Stephanie H has taken my order or one of the managers. Both managers are always very helpful and fast. Terrible experience again. This place is really going down the tubes. After ordering on line I waited in the curbside spot for twenty minutes past the estimated time for pickup. My order consisted of half full fries and a cold burger with slimy vegetables. I emailed the manager and received a robotic response telling me how they strive for good service and quality food. They failed on both accounts. They did NOT address any of my issues. They did say that they would treat me to a free combo but did not tell me how to redeem it. I have been here about 5 times and have Never not had some issue. I will never comprehend how an establishment can consistently make mistakes, verify the order, check the order. It didn't matter matter how simple the order is either! They seemingly are trying to see how bad a business can do and still remain in business. I've order a number 1... no changes, no ad ons... didn't check my order, got home and had two meals in a bag (which would explain why they gave me a plastic bag not a paper), neither were my order, so obviously they messed up someone else's order as well. This morning I ordered a simple sausage BOB with hash browns. I never even thought to look, got a bacon one.... smh Wait, I see.... it's my fault for not making sure they get it right.
