It was okay. Oil isn't being changed out frequently. I can tell by the fries. I use to work fast food many years ago and our fries would come out looking darker when it was time to change the oil. Picture is attached for reference. To the GM- Please change your oil. You have a lot of people coming from rigs and are starving. & To the lady the corrected my order regarding the bacon, Thank you so much! read more

Whataburger - a pile of french fries - Burgers Near Me - Goliad, Texas

Worst what a burger I've ever been to. Stood at the counter for a while without being acknowledged or helped. Multiple employees looked at me but didn't say a word.Went across the road to DQ was greeted and served right away. read more

Stopped in about 1030 for an early lunch before heading on into Corpus Christi. We ordered a breakfast bowl and my standard four meat patties with cheese on each one, but this time I added four pieces of bacon to my order. When I went to pick it up, there were no bacon pieces on my burger patties. I asked about this and the employee said no you told me in a rude loud voice "you told me to put them on the breakfast bowl". And I said you're not the person with whom I placed my order, I have never seen you before so I don't know where this is coming from but seeing that you are angry about this, I'll just move them over myself. She gave me a very snarky look, and then rudely turned and walked away with a huff. Very rude not Customer Service oriented. They also had no water and no drinks available that day which I know happens it's probably not their fault but it just added to my frustration that we would not have stopped if we knew that was the situation. Don't know how other people have viewed this Whataburger, but I definitely would not go back. read more

My little girl was hungry after a great day spent watching her big brother run in the track meet so we went to eat. I ordered her the chicken bites and fries. My mom got a whataburger jr. with cheese and bacon with small fries. And a strawberry milkshake. My husband got the honey bbq chicken sandwich and onion rings. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger add avocado no mustard add mayo. Order came, food was cold, fries rubbery, chicken bites cold and dry, my burger had no mayo. And the cashier was kinda rude, looked bored/mad to be working there. We will not be coming back to this location. Bathrooms were clean at least. read more

We used to love to stop here on our way to Corpus Christi. Yesterday our hamburger was cold, the cheese was not melted and the fries were stale. We were so disappointed! read more

I would give this place a 1 out of 5 even though the food was ok. 3 people a head of me plus the drive thru traffic and I waited 20 minutes for my food. Counted 8 employees working. They really did not bring me my order until I complained, the employee went searching and complained to the cook(?) who told him the order was right in front of his eyes. The nearby employees got a good laugh. The employees area floor was a mess with food every where. The drink counter looked flooded and no cup tops. My order was for 2 chicken wings with fries. I should not have to walk out of a whatabuger mad and hungry. They can do a lot better. PS: why do they not just put out napkins instead of having to ask. read more

Definitely better than a 2 star rating but I have to say there is room for improvement. The wait for a Burger and Fries was too long if the fries were not hot and fresh. I ate less than half of the order if that tells you how disappointing they were. The Whataburger was good but even it did not seem right off the grill considering the wait. There was no staff shortage; quite the opposite, but it is 40 degrees outside --an anomaly for Texas--maybe that is the reason my food was cold? I'm still a believer. I'll still patronize when I have a craving for the spicy ketchup. After all when you visit Texas, you have to visit at least one! #ItsATexasThing #StillAFan read more

This place is so slow... i waited so long for a simple order and they weren't even busy on a Saturday afternoon. Shameful...

Wonderful burgers, as always. Excellent service. Friendly employees, clean restaurant and restroom. Great stop for passing through this little town. read more

The food is good but worst service!!! The drive thru and inside are insanely slow. You've really gotta want a burger to wait THAT long!!! The inside is nasty. Floors are sticky and bathrooms smell like sewage. read more

I'm liking the results of the recent remodel at this location. This was a rough day. Washer flooded second and first floor of my uncles house. Was at the laundry mat next door to this location until 10pm. What I needed was a decent place to sit down and have a good comforting meal. This Wataburger checks all the boxes from the nice helpful staff to the consistently good Food you expect from Whataburger read more

The Mineral Wells Whataburger has always been a great facility. The management hires physically & mentally challenged individuals and takes great strides to train them to be efficient employees. Other employees are good to help them be successful. We have observed this practice for many years and commend this management for their efforts. The service is always good and the food meets Whataburger's excellent standards. read more

Don't know who owns this or manages it. I'm curious how the employees wash their hands as the 2 times I've stopped here in 2 months, they're out of paper towels and soap in the mens restroom. read more

Poor customer service and can not get orders correct, it happens all the time how can you mess up an online order? If I could I'd rate it negative five stars. read more

I have been waiting in curbside for 27 minutes. They don't answer the phone. I think they forgot about me.

You may think you know slow service, but until you try to eat here....you do not, I got trapped in the drivethru and couldn't escape so my quick stop in this sleepy town turned into a waking nightmare of sitting and waiting for a meal I already paid for as I had to take a curbside parking spot to receive my meal. Come on Whataburger corporate come fix your Goliad location read more

Terrible Whataburger. Three orders all messed up. Must have been out of toast because they didn't use it in patty melt or include any with the chicken strips. Heads up would've been nice. Spicy chicken sandwich was completely burnt ti a crisp and tougher than leather. Fries were all small and way over cooked. Save yourself the hassle and drive to the next town. read more

I highly recommend not to stop at this Whataburger. The service was completely awful as the workers were rude or unwilling to help us. The food was okay, but I think for the service we got it was for sure not worth it. My family came in simply to order and while the workers inquired about the specifics of our food, they asked in a way that they were seemed already aggravated despite these just being simple questions related to the food. As a fast food worker myself, I don't see any excuse as to why me and my family received such rude and unhelpful service. If you go to this Whataburger, I hope you go on a day where the employees don't wake up on the wrong side of the bed. read more

baller the food is great and the service is amazing. the food always tastes great and always comes out perfect read more

This fast food place is just bad overall the service sucks and the food is either burnt or just sloppy every time and we will never come back!! Who ever manages this place needs to do better!! read more

Twice in three days we had the worst experience at this Whataburger. To begin the floors were filthy, many booths not clean and left our family of 5 no where to sit together. I won't go into the restroom, but let's just say I wouldn't allow my youngest to go there. Elizabeth, the woman taking our order was so incredibly rude. She 100% should not be the face of your restaurant. She looked so put out to take our order and wouldn't look at us. Our food took forever to come out. A family of 5 came in behind and received their food before us. Miss personality was the one delivering the food and I kindly told her we still have not received our food...she turned around and snapped at me so rudley said and told me" it was still being made. " When we asked for the manager, Amanda...she also looked put out to talk to us. We couldn't believe how she handled the situation. She was equally rude and dismissive. We will NEVER go back there! We are business owners and customer service is so important...I would be mortified if one of our employees acted this way ...especially the manager of the facility. read more

Passing through town, we've never been to Goliad and this was The most delicious Whataburger I've ever been to! The grilled chicken was So flavorful and perfect! The outdoor patio is very nice to sit and enjoy your food, especially if you have a pet with you :) the staff was super friendly and accommodating, would recommend going here! read more

I went to the whataburger with my family. I went to the restroom to wash my hands only to find an employee masterbauting on the toilet. I was disgusted and traumatized. I decided not leave because my family wanted to eat there. Later as I see my food being prepared I find the same employee making my burger with no gloves. Then to find a roach under my table. It took 40 minutes to get our food after multiple complaints.... I AM LIVID!! read more

It was very yummy! Food was hot and very friendly people and manager came around asked if we need anything....

Driving through Goliad, Tx, feeling a bit sleepy and wanted to order a coffee. We passed through the drive-thru at Whataburger around 6pm and the kid at the drive-thru informed us they could not waste a whole bag of product on 2 large coffees. WTF! Disappointed in Whataburger. read more

Currently sitting at a table. No food in sight. We have been waiting for 40 minutes, tables that have been here longer are sitting all around us, foodless. not to be dramatic, but the dmv operates faster than this. read more

This is by far the worst Whataburger I've been to. The employees are rude and acted like I was inconveniencing them by ordering food. Not a smile or any type of politeness from the employees. The cashier talked to like a prison guard talks to a new prisoner with cold annoyed instructions. "What you want?" "Swipe your card. " That's the cashier talking to me with an annoyed look on her face. All the while I was courteous and said thank you but that was ignored. It took 20 minutes to get my food. I said thanks. Their reply? "Kay. " I think these employees are far too comfortable with their jobs. I should have kept driving. read more

What a joke!!!! Have us pull forward to wait for our food and THEN they give it to the people behind us and here we are 30 mins later waiting still and they say oh I gave it away. No sorry, kiss my ass, nothing!! read more

Two stars but only because of the food I ate. I tried the new Green Chile Double. Great Burger. Service was really slow. And the servers called out my number and they were quite rude. read more

I had been traveling for 5 hours and decided I HAD to stop. The toilets looked like they hadn't been scrubbed in a long time. There was actually a ring around it. Yuck! I then ordered food from a very unfriendly cashier. She was definitely not "happy to take my order". Granted, this is a very small town and there just aren't very many places to eat. read more

Being a somewhat local. And leaving a bad review in 2015. Over the last 6 mos. they have really got a lot better. Maybe a different manager. Not sure. Tea has been fresh and burgers a lot better. Cleaner also. Friendly service. Bad personal can ruin a business. Looks like new faces. Much better. read more

We are usually fans of Whataburger, but the Goliad location was dirty, had bugs all over the floor, the kids' milk was sour, plastic ware was empty, order was incorrect and it was hot (air barely cooling). My children (who usually don't notice) all commented, "This place is disgusting!" And they were right. read more

If the Russian mafia made me choose between eating my own fingers or at this Whataburger, let's just say I'd be saving a lot of money on gloves. It's not that the food is terrible, it's about what you'd expect from a Whataburger. However, the customer service is so bad it should be the subject of a trial at the Hague. On my last and final trip to this eatery I was actually snipped at by one of the employees at the drive through for inadvertently confirming I had ordered a #7 when I had really ordered a breakfast taco. When I was given the wrong drink I kindly told the employee that that wasn't correct and it should have been an oj. Well this Irma Grese wannabe standing next to her says to me in a nasty tone "Well YOU told me YOU had a #7!" I was so shocked that an employee would talk to a customer this way over a simple misunderstanding that I couldn't even respond. So she proceeds to toss the bag of food on the counter and walk away. Look, I get it, fast food jobs aren't the most rewarding occupations but there is NO excuse for snapping at a customer like that for no good reason. YOU made the decision to work there, not me, and if you hate your job then find another one. But I'll be damned if I receive the brunt of your frustrations when I'm just trying to get a damn taco! Customer service is a dying art in this country and its because of people like this. This place just lost a customer forever. It's a shame to cause I really liked those damn breakfast tacos. read more
