The food is magnificent as always, but come here if you have time to waste. Because the employees sure love to keep you waiting. It's more 'tolerable' during the daytime. And I understand ordering at 4:20 AM might be different. However, my order of Large fries and a Medium Sprite with light ice shouldn't take fifteen minutes to make. There was a full car of young adults ahead of me at the window. I suppose getting out their ridiculous order instead of simply telling me to park in lane one, or to come inside is too difficult. I don't know why, daytime is slower than any other location, and ordering during the nighttime/early morning is just... Stupid. Go to another Whataburger. P.S. Yelp is giving me a treat for mentioning ambiance... So I'll mention that it is very corporate and stale. I feel like I'm in a soup kitchen for the poor, even though the food costs an arm and a leg (dare I say, it's worth every penny). The nice thing is, there are large windows so you can look at the cars driving by and remind you of gas prices. And that you don't drive a 2026. To my discomfort, I hate to give a bad review. But due to the number of times this has happened, I am forced to give a bad review. For the past 3 to 4 orders, always missing something from orders. Missing condiments , bacon, jalapenos, deserts, etc, that I paid for and not getting orders complete. Most of their employees lack proper social interaction with the customers. I went to the restaurant on Nov 22 2024 and ordered my food. The food was good, but the service was terrible. I paid for my food and then asked if I could get change for $20.00. The employee asked the manager in Spanish, and they had a conversation in Spanish right in front of me. I was told no I could not get change for the $20 bill. That was very rude of the manager and staff. The staff should address the customer in the language of the original question. read more

This is the worst Whataburger in the city by far. Extremely long waits. I always ask for grilled onions and they are Never grilled. Management is poor as they are frequently out of lids, cups, ketchup chicken, just to name a few. Toms of staff with slow service. This is the SECOND time at this location that they mess up my order. I ordered a green chili double. Simple. When I got to the window they kept trying to confirm my order and asked for my receipt until they finally got my order. When I got home, the green chili double had tomatoes, onions, mustard , and Mayo in which it should have none of those . That's the reason why I get that burger so that I don't have to ask for a long list of unwanted items. I would understand if they were short staffed but they had waaaayyy too many people working and no organization. Whoever is managing is to blame because this isn't the first time. Very disappointed . I love whataburger but I'm gonna have to learn to live without it. I will not be returning to that location. read more

The tried the Whataburger app to place an order just the way I like my burger prepared. I happened to be near this Whataburger on Lee Trevino. I used the app so that I could pick up the order quickly and go to the northeast to have dinner with my father. I show up, pick up my order and drive to my father's house. When we start to eat I noticed that my order was not right. Both burgers were missing grilled onions. I called the store and spoke to manager Irvin and he confirmed to replace the order. Two days later I go to the same Whataburger and tell them that I would like my order redone as per Irvin. The now manager Robert Natera said he would not do the entire order. I told him that he should because it was an entire meal. Needlessly I left again unsatisfied. I love Whataburger but I guess I will not go to Lee Trevino store anymore. I ordered adouble meat whataburger that was great no problems with that order bread with soft meat was cooked well everything on it was awesome and delicious the other item on the other hand that I ordered was all wrong. Whataburger is great!! But when asked for a couple of more ketchup packets, they refused to give me more. According to their "new policy", the maximum ketchups to be given out is 4, when I ordered 3 meals!! That's ridiculous and bad customer service at this location.
