Pros were the portions were big..The chicken fingers were crispy and good..The Buffalo chicken sandwich was good....now for the cons...The burgers were smashed and not appetizing..I got the Chile burger and it was super salty and hard to eat...the country gravy was weird and not very flavorful....The onion rings were mushy and just ehhh....and the fries were bland and blahhh..I'd rather have mcds fries all day than theirs...and actually I'd rather eat lunch there too... atrocious, lady at the front window magically charged me seven dollars for a biscuit and gravy, afterwards I had to watch a drug deal go down in the parking lot and then was informed that I needed to pull forward because of my biscuit. I have heard that Whataburger was good... so not having any in Southern California.. we had to go before left back home... I had the #1 with cheese.... the burger was delicious! Turfully would i came here again. Thats a NO. We had order from the drive thur. Took a little longer being late nite. Our frieds wasnt too fresh . The burger was huge but there was so much muster in it. UNLESS they usally make it like that. They forgot one of our fried and my bf had to go back to pick it up. They gave us a apple pie cause he had to go back. They also forgot his jalapeno. I rather go to Carl Jr or Burger king. Not going to lie tho their apple pie was really good. This morning November 4 at 10:05 AM I visited the store number 554 which is on located Gateway West 11075. I purchased a honey butter biscuit number 25 meal. And I also purchased pancakes. When I was given the coffee at the drive-through window the person at the drive-through window was holding the coffee from the bottom of the cup. Well after I took my order and I was coming back home at the time that I got the cup this was from the middle of the cup to get out of my vehicle it's built on me and on my vehicle this was because the person at the drive-through window did not close correctly the cup of hot coffee. Also I did talk to The manager which is Mirea Fernandez after this had happened with the coffee and the only thing she said is that she would let the person at the drive-through window no to close the cups correctly and that she apologized and that was it. I took it for what it was and I let it go, after I started eating my meal what happened was that I found a blonde course here in the pancakes, I calledback to the restaurant and spoke to Miss Fernandez and let her know what was going on she told me that she would go ahead and tell the cooks to throw out the better that they used for the pancakes I told her that I needed to send her a picture because I was very very concerned that since it is a hair and I do work with people in the prison I do know that DNA and other diseases can transfer through the hair obviously and I was very concerned since that hair was course and I did not know and she did not know where it came from I kept on insisting to send her a picture because I needed to know where that came from and The only thing she said was that she would speak to another supervisor and she would let the cooks know that they needed to wear hairnets and gloves while preparing the food. Even though I expressed to her several times that I was concerned about that here that was found in the food and I also did mention to her that I have other medical issues that because I threw up a lot after I found that here in the pancakes my stomach pain was worse. And once again the only thing she could say is that she apologized and that she did not know where I could send that picture to I was very concerned because again I did mention to her more than one time that it's not just that you found a hair in your food but that could carry a lot of diseases and other types of bacteria. Again the only thing she said was that I did not have to keep that here to throw it away and that she would let me know later on who else would call me if her manager or herself. This supervisor Miss Fernandez also told me for a refund I would have to go back to the store so I can top that all of this happened at that location I still have to go back just to get my refund which I find it very absurd and not only that but very unprofessional because if I had a very bad experience why should I have to travel and still it go back to that restaurant and explain myself what happened and for them to give me a refund. Also she could've done way better handling the situation as for a refund she could've sent me a gift card instead of having me go back to that place which I still have not gone and I would not like to be put in that position. Also on that hair that I found in the food that is something that is not acceptable under any condition that shows at that location does not go by the rules and regulations of hygiene and safety standards.. I have pictures that I can forward and also after I spoke to her I no longer kept that here but I would have liked for her to at least ask what they could do like check and see where that hair came from it was not just a simple here it was the course hair which could be a pubic hair. That location was the worst thing that I could've stopped to have breakfast. The restrooms are always dirty at that place even months before when I stop there one time I always visit another location because there a way cleaner than that location. First time at a whataburger. Had a #1 regular burger and it was good. Tasted the way a burger should. Good beef tomatoes pickles onions and lettuce. No fancy secret sauces.
