There's a fine line between indulgent and excessive, and unfortunately, this spot crosses it. The burgers arrive slick rather than juicy, their richness lost in a pool of grease. The fries, though plentiful, sag under their own oil--more limp than crisp, more heavy than satisfying. Add to that a price tag that suggests far higher quality, and the whole experience feels less like a treat and more like a test of endurance. It begs the question: why would anyone willingly sign up for such disappointment? read more

The burger were delicious, juicy, and savoring, and the fries are delicious with peanut oil. I saw how they make their food and if I worked there, it'll be worth it read more

Great burgers, really juicy! Wish they'd open one in the northeast! Also love the free peanuts.

As far as hamburger was concerned, it was OK. As the store boasts, it was "juicy and well-done." It could've used some salt and pepper for flavor. Fries are not too crispy and somewhat greasy IMHO. Since they don't offer any combo meal deals, by the time you add fries (little) and drink (small), it's over $15 with tax. I'd say it's a bit over-priced. I could've had a small steak for that. However, an economic principle is at work here--in a free market society, the price is as good as you're willing to pay. I could've walked out and went elsewhere if I really couldn't accept the price. I had a better experience at some other Five Guys before, so I guess I'll keep on trying. I just don't have to go back too soon, though. Complimentary peanuts are nice. read more

Five Guys - Basic burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles & mustard. Little fries and regular soda. $15.24. - Burgers Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Burgers are good, yes, but the price for a "little cheeseburger" is currently $7.75. That's for the burger only, no fries or drink included. Oh, but peanuts are lol. So one regular sized order of fries + 3 little cheeseburgers + 1 bottled water = $34. I miss in-n-out. But workers are nice and restaurant was clean. read more

Didn't eat. Didn't want to. The manager Julian Aguilar refused my service dog in the building. My dog provides service for my anxiety, alerting me when an anxiety attack is going to occur and when I need to take my medication. When stating my dog was a service dog, the manager still insisted that he wasn't allowed on the premises regardless of if I showed his service dog ID. I immediately left after asking for the manager's name. It's a shame. The place smelt great and looked clean and I was really looking forward to trying Five Guys. read more

Made a pick up order and arrived 23 after placing the order. Order wasn't ready and they made 1 out of the 3 shakes that I ordered. About 5 minutes later the food was ready but they still hadn't made the other 2 shakes in my order. Took them about 10-15 minutes after receiving my food to have the other 2 shakes. This made my food cold by the time I got home and they didn't even mark which shakes were which. The Cajun fries were also over seasoned with salt read more

Decided to try, after hearing about it. The burgers are good, but seem a bit pricey to me. Didn't care for the milkshake, tasted "plasticky" to me. Fries were really good. read more

Way over priced, the burger was greasy, fries were soggy. The Cajun seasoning was way overboard. Really overall a terrible experience. A small burger and a regular sized burger with fries and 1 drink was $30. Avoid this place. read more

So as I stated in passing during my check-in, I walked into this place at long last to see what all the buzz is about. For those of you who don't know or perhaps live underneath a rock, Five Guys is often raved about by various affiliations of unofficial, yet world renowned, social classes; to include Californians and people with an affinity for superfluously inflated fast food. But please don't take that opening line as me saying I dislike this place. Five Guys is fine enough for what it is. The inside of the restaurant was clean, the menu is pretty simple and straight forward, and the service seemed spot-on today. With that being said, where I draw slight pause is with everyone raving about this place as if it were the greatest thing since Waffle House or Krispy Kreme Donuts (bit of a stretch, that last one. but...go with me on this). Whilst I stand by my opinion that the food itself is fine for what it is, I think this place is incredibly over hyped and, more importantly, pretentiously overpriced. Hence why I'm giving this place 3 over hyped burger meals NOT in combo fashion out of 5. Yeah...I'm going against the crowd on this one by saying they are A-OK as opposed to the best short order joint out there. Today I got a cheeseburger and fries (as if we were stock for choice here). As I said: simple and straight forward menu. Anyway, the fries were pretty damn excellent, I must say. First impression: rustic. Pure. Just the way fries should be! However, when I took a bite out of my cheeseburger, the very first thing I thought to myself was, "Mmm...tastes almost exactly like a burger from Wendy's". This struck me as intriguing, considering how much I paid for my "meal" (I place this term in quotes, as Five Guys apparently does not offer combo meals). $12. That's how much I paid for a regular cheeseburger with regular sized fries and no drink. And please keep in mind that Five Guys is essentially a fast food pick-up joint; not quite short order (I mean, the menu configuration is a dead give-away of this). See, I *would* give this place a 4th star if it wasn't for the fact that this particular fast food restaurant is pretentiously priced. I figure it must be due to all the self-congratulatory accolades plastered all around the walls of the place; or the fact that everyone continues to rave about Five Guys as if it were the second coming of fast food restaurants. But again, please do not take this review as a venue of me saying I did not enjoy it for what it is. Ultimately, Five Guys is certainly a place I would revisit on occasion...if, for nothing else, those rustic homemade fries. The burgers are quite satisfying, too. A definite refreshing change from the even more overly placated McD's. Hey, at least it's one more excuse to avoid visiting the latter, right? read more

Grilled onions, bacon, and fries with the Cajun. Double the patties, today I'm a fatty. Five Guys, I love you I really, really do. These are a few of my favorite things. Read it again while humming My Favorite Things from the Sound of Music. Ya, okay I could've been more creative with my intro, but if I made one person smile I did my job. So as My Favorite Things lyrics told you, I love Five Guys. Yes, I love 'em more than McDonalds, more than Burger King, more than Whataburger, and more than Jack in the Box. The menu is simple, so it doesn't leave for any surprises. You can order a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a bacon burger, or a bacon cheeseburger (ding-ding-ding! we have a winner). Personally I like to get two patties, but one will do the trick for most. There's other things on the menu like the BLT and hotdogs, but come on...you're at 5G, get a burger. Treat yo self! The toppings are totally up to you. And they're free! I always go with ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and grilled onions. I keep it simple-ish. But there are other options like grilled mushrooms. The fries are just simple potato fries, but get the Cajun fries...they're the best. And yes, you do have to order fries separately, but the regular usually comes in its own bag and is overflowing. With a drink, price-wise I can easily spend $10 (I eat a lot...don't judge me), but I always leave satisfied. Oh and don't forget about the peanuts (this is not Texas Roadhouse, you can't just throw the shells on the floor). You can scarf down as many as you want before your food arrives...we'll you can do it after too, but who eats peanuts when they have a burger? I'm not going to lie, the burgers are a tad greasy, but I like 'em so no harm, no foul. One thing that gets me, it's called FIVE Guys...call me sexist, but just once I'd like to see just 5 guys working back their. They can put a chick at the register. The kitchen is open, so you can watch them (like a creep) making your burger. They're always friendly and yell out the orders kinda funny. Funny where you know they said something after the order number, but you're not entirely sure what. So I love 5G for when I'm craving something cheesy, greasy, and filling. Best burger in town? No, but one of the best fast food burgers for miles. read more

Decent burgers but pretty greasy. Fries were not hot or crisp at all and very salty, if you like salty fries this is your place. I personally prefer crisp hot fries with minimal salt. I actually ended up throwing my fries away after we left. I ordered a small cheeseburger and small fries, no drink. My husband had a regular cheeseburger, small fries and a drink.... that's all we ordered and it was $28 VERY overpriced given the quality. Customer service was ok, pretty quick and the place was clean. But we won't return because the food is just blah and did I mention how overpriced it was?! read more

Five Guys is now in the eastside!!! I really like and recommend their Cajun style fries, its a big plus that the folks are usually generous with them and there's plenty extra. The burgers are good, I don't think they're spectacular, but since you get a wide selection of toppings, you're partially responsible for how they come out! And since the toppings are free, you're encouraged to experiment. As always, Five Guys is a peanut-intense place, so stay away if you have allergies! read more

Five Guys - Look for this place! - Burgers Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Hands down best burger I'm going to find in El Paso! Being from California, I had the fortunate opportunity to have in-n-out at any convenient moment. Upon moving out here, the opportunities to eat a really delicious and excellent quality burger was slim pickings. That being said, I am SO GLAD Five Guys is here to satisfy my hamburger cravings! Upon entry, the scent of fresh burgers being put on the grill and French fries being salted, I knew it was going to be a good food stop. My husband had never been to a Five guys before, I on the other hand, have been to one a couple years ago and was drastically hoping it would taste as wonderful as I once remembered. We ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers, a regular order of fries, and 2 fountain drinks. A round total of $24. My husband was skeptical, I remained hopeful. The food was impeccable! The burgers tasted like backyard barbecue cooking, just a better quality. Bacon cheeseburgers: amazingly cooked to perfection. The cheese oozing out of the burger onto the foil it was wrapped in. The bacon were put into bits on the bottom bun, resulting in a bite full of bacon. French fries: a regular order of fries was more than enough to fill 2 grown adults with a large appetite, with enough for leftovers. Perfectly cooked so they were not too hard, nor soggy. Salted enough to not gross out any french fry lover. Service: I loved the girl that assisted us at the register! She was so nice and answered every ridiculous question my husband had for her. Unfortunately I didn't get her name, but she had a smile and I appreciate good service. I am so glad we went in and we have no regrets. The ONLY complaint I have is how disgustingly dirty the patrons leave the tables. You have to walk past a trashcan to leave the place, throw your trash away!! But that is not a reflection of Five Guys, it's a reflection of the rude people that can walk into this place. read more

Great burgers okay service. I usually order online and pick up. Good food decent prices

Ordered take out via 5 guys app. Very easy ordering process. Only thing I couldn't figure out how to order was a tea so I had to order that separately on arrival. It's a little pricey for a burger, but pretty good. Our order was ready on-time and was correct. The store was carefully marked to avoid crowding and seemed very cleaned upon arrival. Will order again! read more

Went in a little after lunch. It was not crowded so we were able to walk up straight to the order counter and place our orders and we didn't wait long at all. Burger was juicy but the Cajun fries were a bit heavily seasoned and very salty. Other than that would probably stick to the five guy fries. read more

Not a fan of five guys I tried it in multiple occasions and do not like it. Way way way too much salt. I've gone on different days at different times always insane amount of salt. The place is always clean and the staff is super kind and have great customer service skills what kills this place is the salt. I've never tried the "no salt " trick like people do at McDonald's I never want to be that person.,,but I may give it a try next time we go.. My brother is in love with this place so it could be a person to person thing and I'd say to deff try it at least once read more

I've always had a thing for 5 guys ever since I tasted it in South Carolina. Came here and ordered a double patty bacon sheeseburger with an order of Cajun fries. It was freakin delicious and I love how the staff takes pride in making your order, the presentation is great and in a timely manner. The ingredients they use seem to be always fresh as well as the potatoes. All was going well until I hit that last bite that happened to have 3 jalupinos hidden in there and that was that... . FIRE! But never the less off the hook. I will always keep coming back to five guys but have to pace myself as it tends to hit the wallet hard at times. read more

Five Guys - Double patty bacon cheeseburger and Cajun fries, come get it! - Burgers Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Five Guys is always delicious. I usually place my order on the phone and go pick it up. It's super easy and you don't have to wait as long. They don't start making your fries until you get there, so you know it's fresh. This location was clean when I went last night and the workers were nice. They always throw extra fries on top of your order which I love. The only downfall is that it is a little pricey but they do make some darn good burgers and fries. You get to customize your burger with any of the toppings on the list (as many as your want). You can even get your fries Cajun style if you want something different. I highly recommend giving Five Guys a try if you haven't already. read more

I like this stuff. I get my fries well done so they're not so floppy. I didn't like the BBQ sauce because it kind of tastes like they make it from ketchup themselves, but that's not a huge deal (and I kind of like the idea if they do). The cashier (manager?) saw us standing with our friends and asked if we had been there before. They hadn't, so he called them up to tell them how everything worked. It was a nice thing to do. read more

Whenever I'm in the mood for a burger I hit up 5G. They are super quick and super good plus they have cherry coke mmmm. Yeah they are greasy and cheesy but duh it's a burger it's not meant to be healthy lol! From the moment you walk in you get greeted which makes me kind of bashful but hey at least you get to feel important. I get mine all the way with jalapeños which are always muy caliente! The fries you must go Cajun, but ask for light Cajun because sometimes they put to much. The menu it's simple burgers, dogs, and fries! It's a bit on the pricey side considering it's fast food, but hey I'm not complaining the meat is perfectly cooked and seasoned. Plus they don't charge for the toppings! I always leave so happy from there and I enjoy every bite! Also try mixing some of that malt vinegar with the ketchup and dip your fries right in its super delicious!!!! read more

I wouldn't say it was the Best Burger. But definitely the top 10. I like the restaurant theme and fries are crazy !!! I ordered one large and that was enough for four people, and we are taking some home. I would come back again. I think it is a little pricey for a burger place. For the same amount we could have eaten at a chain restaurant. Plan to spend 10 to 15 person. read more

Five Guys - Open 7 days A week!!! - Burgers Near Me - El Paso, Texas

0 stars!!!! ... (FYI, i HAD to put 1 star just to post this) What sucks is that I spoke so highly about this place because I had it years ago and was very pleased with it. All over the restaurant it says voted best burger blah blah blah... my dad orders a burger and it completely falls apart. The bread broke easily, veggies and patties slipped out. My mother went up and asked a manager or lead if it's supposed to break and fall apart and all he said was I don't know. I am never going there again. They didn't want to ask for their money back because they were embarrassed.. If anything, they shouldn't of been embarrassed, this "best burger" should be embarrassed. $30 down the drain. This never happens at Whataburger. I know now never to go back again. read more

Didn't feel like cooking because of one of those long days, and stomach was growling for a burger. Well ya know how the story goes....food was delivered nice and warm. Well, this was the first time I ate at Five Guys. My order consisted of 1-Bacon Cheeseburger, 1-Bacon Cheeseburger w/o bun, 1-hot dog and 1- order of fries. So here's the deal i usually pay more attention to the meat in the product. But this time i couldn't help and notice the sides and the topping. I don't believe I have ever seen sides and toppings so fresh. I wanted to take a pick of my toppings but the urge to eat it overwhelmed me. Bacon was not paper thin. The onions were so fresh. Well all the toppings were fresh and so bright in color. The dining facility was spotless and smelled like heaven. Thank you for a great experience. I wished the price was a little cheaper, but I think the freshness of everything made it worth it. read more

We were the first to arrive some Sundays ago. Friendly staff and knowledgeable, thank goodness. Service was prompt , then again we were the only ones there at 11am. The burger was a good old fashioned thick and tasty burger with the cheese melted over the patties and on to that cheese paper! Mmhmm! I got a double with cheese and green chile, if you are ever craving a good burger in a cheat day this is it. The fries were pretty good, really enjoyed that Cajun seasoning (pretty much seasoned fries with BBQ salt) Interesting how they served them in a cup. Their labeling system for order was great to figure out who's burger is who's. Would definitely come back again and again. read more

We thought we could give this place a 2nd try, as our first experience at one of their locations in Maryland came with an extra side of hair on my burger. But I digress. The service was ok, if only they could learn to speak up. In between the music and the inside noise, I had to have them repeat the questions they were addressing me. I got the cheeseburger and the regular fries and a chocolate shake. The fries were indeed excellent. The cheeseburger...well, that's another story. While the meat was cooked very good and tasted delicious, my disappointment is directed at the "cheese" on the cheeseburger. If you're going to charge me $8.99 for a burger, at least put some decent cheese on it, not the Kraft kind, that didn't even melt...or taste like anything. The shake lacked. It was merely a combination of a lot of Hershey's chocolate, some, but not a lot, of ice ream and milk. Loads of milk. To the point it was runny. And for someone who loves chocolate, it was too much chocolate in it. All in all, it's expensive for a fast food joint. $30 for 2 people is a lot. Probably will not go back. At least read more

It's a damn good burger with damn good French fries, or should I call them Freedom Fries? It's easily the best "fast food" burger in El Paso. Five Guys Burgers & Fries, not my cup of greasy ground beef if you ask me. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. There's something about the burgers here, that a can't quite put my finger on that reminds me of an old fashioned, home-cooked hamburger. It reminds me of those cheap little patties you buy at grocery store, that excited feeling when you're able to find buns that maybe--just MAYBE might fit your patty perfectly, and that frustrated feeling when you just can't get your vegetables to fit (or stay stacked) on your burger. Now, when I visit a restaurant and order a $6 dollar hamburger (a $13 dollar meal, ouch), I want restaurant quality food. If I wanted a mediocre burger, dressed in grease and delivered soggily; I would have visited my tia's house and asked her for a hamburger, or better yet--I could have gone through the trouble myself. THE FOOD + Burger The burger, cooked accurately, didn't taste bad to me. I did find it *very* greasy though. It really irks me that they don't have pickled jalapeños here. Those are important in El Paso! The patties hang off the bun, and the hamburger as a whole is stuffed into an old-fashioned cardboard and foil container, giving you that diner feel. I'd give the burger all by itself 3 of 5 stars - I've had better, and I have had worse. I think places like Frisco's (equally greasy) or Roscoe's (check that place out) can deliver a better hamburger. Hell, even Carls Jr. can knock it out of the park once in awhile. + The Fries Holy crapoly, these have to make my top ten list of worst fries ever. They're limp and burned and equally greasy. They're nothing like you'll get anywhere else. If Wendy's, McDonald's, and Burger King's fries are what you're used to, you're gonna get shell shocked here. These are like greased up mashed potatoes run through a playdough mold-maker toy set and then dropped in a hot pan full of grease for a second. Just enough to give a weird, french-fry like texture. Didn't like. THE PLACE While I had trouble wrapping my head around my food, Five Guys Burgers & Fries maintains a pretty brag-worthy environment in terms of cleanliness. Someone was cleaning and picking up trash the entire time I was there. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The only thing that happened that I was bothered about was a family who had let their children run loose through the restaurant, not that they were particularly bothersome, but I witnessed the children eating old french fries off the floor before the staff had a chance to clean them up, and sticking their fingers around the fountain nozzles. I felt bad for the kid, and it might for a cringe-inducing distraction during my meal. OVERALL While I wouldn't ever go back, there are still worse restaurants - but on the same token, there are also much, much better places to get a good burger in El Paso. read more

Five Guys burgers are simply the best!! They made our burgers accurately and quickly considering how busy they were. Best Burger's in El Paso and great customer service!

Great burgers, great prices, great portions, great service. There's nothing little about these burgers. Go with the regular burger instead of the little burger or go home. I'm not really a big fan of this place, but my husband loves the burgers. Maybe it's because I'm a vegetarian and their "veggie sandwich" is good but not that great.
