Horrible wait for food to arrive cold and greasy. Preordered through their app for curbside pickup. Waited well over 20 minutes. Went inside to try to get order and was told they weren't doing curbside pickup due to understaffing. Why take online orders like that if you don't have staff? This is our third visit and all we're very long waits with food cold and unappetizing when we got it. Not sure why it's such a challenge to deliver hot food in a decent timeframe. First and last time at Whataburger, I ordered a number one all the way she had no clue what all the way was when I got the burger it had only mustard lettuce, tomato pickles onions no mayonnaise no ketchup. I ordered onion rings when Scott picked up the order there were two orders of fries. He mentioned I had ordered onion rings and the lady said no I don't think so. Did not change it. They only have one bathroom stall in the women's restroom so there was a line out in the hall what restaurant establishment offers one stall nobody. read more

My kids and I went by for lunch today. I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago with my husband. The staff was very friendly. Any mistakes on our orders were corrected with kindness and swiftness. I am a native Texan so I have been looking forward to the opening of the new Whataburger. My first experience at this Cumming location was less than satisfactory. While the drive thru lane did not seem too long when I arrived it was very slow. As I got to the point where they would bring out my order, many of the cars behind me got their order first. I did not order anything special that should have caused mine to be delayed as it was double Whataburger with cheese and an order of fries. When I got home I discovered that they did not add the cheese although I was charged $1.20 extra for it. The food tasted good but I was overall disappointed. Hopefully the kinks will get worked out and future visits will be better. read more

I have been to them all, Every fast food restaurant, and I have NEVER been this dissatisfied. Not only is the outside of the restaurant not clean, service is EXTREMELY slow. People are not very nice, and food seems like it is not of good quality, absolutely no seasoning, and for a double cheeseburger combo for $11+ the food is lacking. Being a Native Texan I was so excited to have Whataburger come to Georgia. I am now very disappointed at the sad mess I received. I took my son and daughter who have enjoyed Whataburger in our trips back to Texas. We dined inside and when we entered there was no line and a few people in dining room. We ordered a couple burgers and fries and chicken strips. The food brought to us was cold and tasted like it had set out for a good while. How disappointed we were. I grew up on Whataburger and I will just enjoy the memory and hope when I visit home this chain that has been bought out by a obliviously unknowing group that has no idea what a Whataburger is has not destroyed the chain in Texas! Cashier was not informative at all. Food was brought to the table I was not offered any condiments nor are they available anywhere in the restaurant. I got to sit next to a manager named Ashley critiquing her associates. I tried to complete the surveys online however the surveys do not actually link to the Whataburger website. When you try to manually enter them it rejects them so they really do not want to hear the feedback. As a first-time visitor probably a last time visitor. read more

I'd highly recommend going somewhere else. Apparently in order to get breakfast you'd need to come in minimum 30 minutes before 11 am to get an order in for breakfast menu. I've never seen a place so strict about the breakfast menu cut off. We waited 15-20 minutes to even place an order. When the guy finally came up to us it was 11:00am and we ordered our breakfast and the guy put his hands up and said he couldn't let us order. It's not his fault but you need to find a way to get peoples orders in faster. Overall, we basically waited 35 mins for cokes. 0/10 business management. read more

Went to Whataburger they're supposed to have breakfast from 11 PM to 11 AM and I went there at 10:45. Waited about 15 minutes in line to order. Keep in mind the line isn't even that long and by the time I got to order it was 10:59 AM and the guy taking orders says oh I'm sorry we're not serving breakfast anymore " my manager came out here at 10:30 and said we're not serving breakfast anymore" in my opinion not a very well run restaurant. I get it the new, but if you're ready to open the store, you better be ready to deal with the customers. Clearly they're not they haven't open the dining room at all and they've been strictly drive-through. They simply can't keep up with the demand. read more

We went to Whataburger today because we heard that it was supposed to be amazing! Maybe we just went in with two high of an expectation but we were very dissatisfied. The dining room wasn't even open yet and there was a 20-minute wait in the drive-thru. When we finally went to place our order, we were very disappointed that there were no gluten-free options on the menu. We went ahead and placed an order for the rest of our party anyway and got to the window to pick it up and left. After we pulled away, we realized that part of our order was missing. There was an entire order of french fries missing and we asked for salt which was not put in the bag at all. Since we had already waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru, we were not going to go back and get the missing item that we had paid for. The food itself was not even mediocre. The french fries were bland and I had a grilled cheese sandwich which was mushy, not even really toasted, and not even lukewarm. Another person in our party got a junior bacon and cheese Whataburger and said that it was mediocre at best. I'm sorry to say that we don't think we will be returning to whataburger. read more

Food was great and delicious to the point where it was leaving me wanting more. Personally, I think these are really good fast food burgers, multiple steps above McDonalds, but 2 steps below Five Guys. Red Robin's could also do their burgers better, but if you're looking for cheap, delicious food, go here. The service was great, I was helped kindly by the order taking staff and the place was nicely clean (even the bathrooms!) and well maintained (granted, it opened just over a month ago at the time of this writing). Keep in mind, everything here is fresh and so it takes time to cook meat, especially chicken (give or take 10 minutes). So I didn't mind the 15 minute wait for some grilled chicken for the grilled chicken sandwich that I ordered. All burgers I ordered were nice and warm so they most likely fixed their cold burgers problem. In addition, I've yet to try the seasonal items, or some of the all-time favorites, but I've had the patty melt, and y'all, you NEED to have it. It's practically essential if you're visiting a Whataburger, also get fries (or onion rings, whatever you fancy), with either the creamy pepper, honey mustard, honey butter, or jalapeño ranch dipping sauce (because those dipping sauces are huge, and are meant to dip your burgers in), and ENJOY. There is nice music playing in the background for you to listen to while you talk, eat, or wait too. The food was decent but the service was awful. My wife and I went for the first time over Memorial Day weekend, and after waiting in line for almost 10 minutes made it up to the employee who was taking orders. The drive through was split into two lines and each line had someone standing by the menu kiosks similar to how CFA often does. We sat there for a good 30-45 (very awkward) seconds before the employee even acknowledged our presence with a disgruntled hello. Right off the bat I could tell that this employee 1) Did not care and 2) Did not want to be here. Each of us made our orders: #1, No Tomato and a #5, Add Ketchup, Mustard and Mayo. After paying we continued on to the pickup window and the employees there were incredibly nice and thorough with checking that they got the right things to the right people. The downside on the other hand was that when we got our food, the order had been put in the system completely wrong. The burgers were decent (but dry without the toppings and other sauces shown on the digital menu) but overall it seems like that particular employee needs an attitude adjustment and some training in what customer service means. read more
