Most Texans will tell you that to really appreciate Whataburger, you don't just order "the Whataburger." I don't think anyone out there really thinks there's anything especially significant about "the Whataburger" itself, which is confusing for first-time visitors who want to see what the fuss is about. They order "the Whataburger" and are immediately disappointed in how uniquely delicious it ISN'T. I've eaten at Whataburgers regularly for my entire life, and I can tell you that Whataburgers are consistent. I've never had a remotely poorly-made meal at a Whataburger, which is only surprising considering how many times I've eaten there. With Whataburger, you know what you're getting, and it doesn't matter what time of day it is. You could come in a 2 AM or 2 PM and you'd still get the same fresh meal and friendly service. If I were to have ANY gripe with Whataburger, I suppose it would be with the price of it, but I think that 24 -hour service definitely makes up for that. 10/10, would recommend Whataburger and this location in particular. read more

Well, has anyone ever taken a bite of your cinnamon roll before serving it to you? I was in town for work and like many people in my position, I rely on eating out because it's hard to cook in a hotel. The customer service was great the few times I went and the food was satisfactory. My last visit was after a long day and it was the only thing in proximity that was available at that time of night. I ordered a specialty burger combo. I upsized it to a large and ordered a cinnamon roll to have for breakfast. Lo and behold the next morning when I was looking forward to reheating the cinnamon roll and having it for breakfast, I opened it up just to realize that it appeared someone had taken a small bite out of it before serving it to me. Yes I said that correctly. I'll say it again so there is no mistake in understanding. I swear this is the worst Whataburger. I sometimes, rarely, get a decent Whataburger from here. However, most of the time I get a dry, bland burger. From this location, expect to have to go back because they get the order wrong a huge percentage of the time. Normally, fries from Whataburger are great, but this one gives you dried potato sticks. Final note, this Whataburger is terrible about their drive thru. Firstly, it takes forever to go through this one's drive thru. Secondly, they do not have their two lane layout done the best. When we got to the window to pay, the clerk informed us that they didn't have exact change and told us to pull forward, without asking us if we even had exact change! If I could do 0 stars I would. I Moved to the are a few months ago. Each time I come here I'm extremely disappointed lol. I'm always told to "pull forward" and wait for my food. I then have to sit there for 15-30 minutes and there's been multiple occasions where they ask us to pull forward and then they completely forget we are sitting there. I work in the food service industry and am usually really patient but after having the same experience over and over it's clear they just don't care. Their onion rings are fantastic, and their chicken sandwich isn't bad either, This locations customer service is outstanding - Granted Most are, but this one takes it to a different level. Employees seen genuinely happy, They greet you with a smile, listen attentively to get your order right, use manners (i e - Thank you, have a good day, etc) and go that extra mile to make your visit a good experience. What a joke! We went into Whataburger for breakfast burritos. Had three cashier registers but only one person working the front. I counted 7 people not including who was in the back cooking or at the drive through. Took several minute-to get waited on and final Got our ordered taken. By this time there is a line 5 to 6 people in line. I went back to get coffee, stood in line for several minutes again. Final I got my coffee-myself in my own cup. Went back to line to pay for coffee. Was told by the manager and I should have gotten a cup from her and not use my personal cup because of Covid. My cup didn't touch any part of the coffee pot. Why the 5 stars? BECAUSE this place was open and wonderfully staffed on a crazy cold snowy and icy winter day (early 2014). Closed were the schools, closed was the nearer Taco Bell. Closed were almost every other stores... but i was in a hotel with not much food choice, walked rather than driving through icy streets... I came here and was welcomed with a warm smile and such a heartwaeming care and concern i almost started crying... and, when i stated i wanted to add an order of burger and fries for an homeless man, they put extra fries and offered a free large coffee).
