Fortunately, one of the young hires approached me at the right time. After pointing to the game, she excused herself, went to the back room to get a ladder and grabbed the game. If I had wanted one of the independently-published games, I could have it grabbed myself. Browsing the store with my hands full was cumbersome. The same employee offered to take the items to the register until I was ready to pay. When it was time to pay, I opted for their complimentary gift-wrapping. From the few photos and the name, I thought it would be more of a children's bookstore but I was so wrong. As soon as you enter, the amazing staff welcomes you and is eager to help you find any books you are looking for. Right at the entrance they had the fantasy and romance section which is a personal favorite, and I immediately found a couple of books that have been on my list. I absolutely LOVED that they had self published books from indie authors, which is so rare to find at any local bookstore (you usually have to wait for them to be re-published by a publisher to find them anywhere besides Amazon). They also have a children's section which is super cute, and I found a couple of things for my little one. On the top floor they have a couple of couches for you to hang out and a section of used books. Frankly, this was one of the best bookstores I found in the DFW area, and I can't wait to come back and support them!
