5.0 Service - 4.5 Coffee - 4.0 Wait Time
A refresh to my first review during COVID.
What's new? Expanded hours and great service.
The new hours run from 8 am to 5 pm (instead of 3 pm) and the coffee bar is now always manned. I appreciate the later hours since I seemed to frequently miss the 3 pm cutoff! I thought when the Starbucks across the parking lot moved that the increased business would have meant better staffing and later hours. Well, that time is here.
The affordable and good-tasting coffee is what keeps bringing me back. I still enjoy a good cup of the Allegro drip. However, the variety in the past has changed to the same caff and decaf being offered.
Espresso. The shots the baristas pulled are solid, in my opinion. I've enjoyed their cortados and mochas, with chocolate that is not overly sweet. Affordable as well.
Service. If and when you stop by, I hope you have the pleasure of meeting Ysa. Full of smiles, very helpful, and more than competent in creating the drinks, she interacts with each person, I've noticed, with the same friendliness. In fact, it seems to help pick up the mood of those around her.
Location. Look for the coffee bar by the self-checkout lanes, and right next to the bakery. read more
