This must be one of the best deals, huge lobster roll and clam chowder for $20! I love this place!

Seafood for sale

The lobster pound is inside a market and has only a 4-6 foot presence, but they are able to work miracles in that space. Lots of seafood to go and cook at home, but since we were coming from Boston to the Cape we needed food ready to eat. The lobster roll and clam chowder fit the bill. Both were amazing and just outside the store there are places to sit and eat. Definitely would come back next time we are traveling this area. As a bonus a bakery is next store to put the icing on the cake. Enjoy!

Jumbo size lobster roll $23 & a bowl of Clam Chowder $6/7. Best combo ever!

Best hidden gem in the south shore area. My friend introduce me to this awesome place for lobster roll and clam chowder. The lobster roll was filled with lobster meats, I chose butter style (not mayo and they have that too). Roll is small for $14 and jumbo $23, I went for jumbo of course. The clam chowder was one of the best I've ever had! Lots of clam meat and bacon, not too much potatoes. I also bought Lobster Bisque to-go which has lobster chunks on top. If you're in the area, make time to check this place out. Parking is limited, so best not to go during lunch time.

Lobster Roll $12.99 add a Clam Chowder $2 more. Yummy!

I Yelped Lobster Rolls and I found this place. I called as I wanted to check price and if they had a place to eat. They have a special buy - Lobster Roll $12.99 and for $2 more get a cup of Clam Chowder. The woman who waited on me was super nice she made my Lobster Roll. It was perfect. The seafood counter had fresh fish and the prices looked very reasonable. You can order your Lobster Roll plain, hot butter or with Mayo. Check this Hidden Jewel out. I did notice Lazy Man Lobster for $13. Just saying

Mushy lobster tail. Not edible. Can get you sick.

Excellent lobster roll. The roll had a huge helping of lobster and was very fresh. The bread was toasted, buttery bread was great!

Fish was good but not great. Don't bother getting any of their desserts. I tried the bachlava; not good unless you like soggy

Best deal on the tastiest lobster roll anywhere in the south coast. Bonus that they're a mile from Vitamin Sea. Perfect lunch combo.

My son and I ordered jumbo lobster rolls...they were average at best. The price was jumbo by comparison to other restaurant.

Great value, and I'm not a lobstah person, but my wife is. Very nice woman behind counter, I think she's the owner.

I was surprised to read such rave reviews, but have started going there. I thought the authors were…read moremisguided. Having been, now, a few times, I think the reviews are a bit understated. it is fresh, fast, kind. The drawback is that they do not have a huge selection, but I suspect that is because what they have is fresh. It also does not appear overpriced. I will go back.

On Christmas Eve, (La Vigilia), many Italian families celebrate the "Feast of the Seven Fishes"…read more The custom is to serve seven different seafood dishes, each one representing one of the seven sacraments. At least that's the version of the story we've always gone by. The usual menu (since I was a tiny tot) has always included: pasta with lobster, baked stuffed shrimp, bacala (salt cod) salad, another bacala dish; this one with a marinara sauce, pan-fried smelts, clams one way or another; often casino-style, calamari, and then whatever else suits us that year to total at least seven dishes. While I didn't appreciate aspects of this meal when I was a kid (read: any bacala dish), it's now probably my favorite holiday feast bar none with any and all bacala included. While I usually get my fish at Rockyneck no matter what time of year, the day or two leading up to Christmas Eve is when we've got to buckle down. The crowd is coming. Rockyneck doesn't steer us wrong. It's actually inside the Hingham Fruit Center, a store I love and which I've reviewed separately. It consists of one large seafood counter within the larger grocery store and is its own business. I'm generally impressed with the freshness, quality and taste of the seafood they carry. The look of the fish is always pristine and I never hesitate over any of their offerings. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful and will do their best to get you the very best of what you need when you need it. Christmas Eve notwithstanding, this place is a conveniently located little gem.

You do not find good customer service anymore, anywhere these days - so please keep up the good work guys! Recently the store seems understaffed, and the Shelves are not well stocked. It seems they had a Big Turnover recently and a new Manager, and the staff they do have is not well trained. The produce is not as good as it used to be, I have seen rotted product and outdated product on the floor. I used to love to come here to pick up a prepared salad or sandwich and the quality and selections has gone downhill. The other thing I miss is the Meal deals; it seems to be the same over and over again and the quality does not match the price. I would much rather shop at the Trader Joe's, Whole foods and the Fruit center. It is too bad, because there is nothing that sets Fresh Market apart anymore, it has turned into just Another Grocery store.

They have some dry goods, some veggies, but their big thing seems to be the freezer in the corner, their raw meats, and the hot and cold food counter that caught my eye. They definitely have their fans, one of which took home their American Chop Suey and meatball sub, and was planning to drench it with more of their tasty sauce at home, that they already had from a previous visit. I went with their large Tom Turkey Sandwich for $10.95 (Thanksgiving sandwich) and paid at the register on the other side of the room. It was large indeed, and stuffed full. The only improvement would be if they'd have toasted the bread. Gotta remember to ask them to toast it before filling it, next time!
