Following a recent storm, we lost a large limb from an oak tree by our home in New Buffalo, MI…read more With some anxiety about the risk of further danger from future storms, we contacted several tree companies, and were advised to immediately remove the entire tree - at considerable expense. Christian from C&A, on the other hand, immediately responded to my call and then took time to explain why that one limb dropped, how its loss affected the physics of the tree's resilience in future storms, candidly advised us on the on-going risk, and counseled us to not rush into its removal out of undue anxiety. He was patient, highly insightful and instructive, and exhibited great care and concern for the tree as well as our well-being. While willing and able to remove the tree, he was willing to forego that work so as to ensure we could continue to benefit from that healthy tree. From his assessment, I not only received a master-class in how large trees respond to high winds - but also saved $$ and gained peace of mind. It pays to consult a true professional arborist like Christian.

Rob gave my landlord a estimate no one could beat. Sadly, they still declined to have the work done. Rob could see I was very worried about the tree falling onto my car and truck. He then set forth to send one of his workers over to "help out". After all was said and done I paid the young Man who did all the climbing and removal a very low sum of money. Rob then for only $200 came and ground down the stumps. Which I billed the landlord for. They said they would pay me the $200 for removal of the trees but were not paying to grind the stumps. Kinda Crazy! Yet, all in all I was so happy. To top it off about a month later Rob came by to make sure everything was good and to check about another tree I had discussed removing. When he came he brought with him a beautiful little tree to replace the dead pine tree that had been removed in the front yard. A year later the little tree is growing and happy! Thank you Rob P.s. I now pay Rob to remove any brush I have during the summer months. He is a wonderful help when trying to identify what diseases my plants and shrubs may have as well. Lots of little reasons to call on Rob before anyone else, at least for me!
