They came when they said they would come the first time, and cut the tree down, but left about 3 foot of the stump. He said they would be out the next day to finish and clean up. They did not show the next day. I paid 50% down and they were there within a week, quickly and efficiently cutting down the trees and cleaning up. When they were finished, they asked for the balance due with the promise to schedule the stump grinding. I paid. Lesson learned. That was several months and many empty promises ago. Now I am contracting another company to grind the stumps. A1 does great work, but don't pay them until they finish the work.
