The expansive outdoor area is lined with covered picnic tables--perfect for kicking back and enjoying some fresh air. On weekends, the courtyard comes alive with families and friends gathering to soak up the sunshine while sipping local brews or enjoying a bite to eat. During our visit, multiple food trucks and vendor booths were on-site, offering everything from homemade banana bread to cigars. While I don't typically drink a lot of beer, their black IPA was a standout--rich and dark like a stout, but finished with the crisp bitterness of an IPA. A really interesting flavor profile. NBL does an excellent job creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a true community hub. That alone is worth raising a glass. Cheers.

I was even offered a couple free samples, even though the sign says no samples on the weekend lol. There were 3 food trucks so we had good food options. Shout out to Saucy on the Fly. I've been coming to this Tom N Toms location since before the new management took over, and it's…read morealways been consistent if anything, it's only improved. The baristas and owners are genuinely welcoming and usually greet me when I walk in. Of course, if they're busy with orders, that might not always happen, which is completely understandable. What I really appreciate is how helpful they are. I'm pretty indecisive when ordering, and they've always been patient and willing to recommend drinks or answer questions. I usually go for their chai latte or spiced chai latte, and everything I've tried so far has been really good. Taste is subjective, of course, but I've personally enjoyed every drink I've ordered. From what I understand, they're also willing to remake or adjust drinks if there's an issue though I've never had to do that, even during busy times or when they're hosting events and pop-ups. So please double check with barista/management. One of the things I love about this locally owned coffee shop is their food. It's actually filling, which isn't always the case with cafés. My favorites are the honey garlic toast, bagels with cream cheese, and the buldak pizza. The shop itself is clean, well-maintained, and the restroom is always fresh, which I really notice and appreciate. There's typically a barista at the front to take orders, and when it gets busy, there's also a kiosk available. The layout is clear, with signs showing where to order and pick up, so it's easy to navigate. They also host events and offer space for meetings or casual hangouts, which adds to the community feel. It's a great spot to relax, read, study, or get work done. If I lived closer, I'd probably be here all the time. They also play great music definitely my vibe, though that comes down to personal taste. Overall, it's a solid, welcoming place that I've consistently had good experiences with. Plus it's Jeon Jung Kook approved! (See photo)

Brazos is one of these breweries. The beers are fun to try!! I genuinely looked forward to trying everything. I guess I've been to so many breweries, they start to run together and feel lackluster. Line was long but the ladies were patient in taking orders. Smaller orders came out fast and the pretzel was the best deal there. Big kids play area in a field so far from the tables. 50% of the people were watching their kids which I was not impressed by. You don't get a vacation from parenting. Hot food from the food trailer took a bit to come out but the girl back there was working her butt off. The orders were coming in in large amounts because groups of people kept showing up. Overall a nice place and well maintained.

It was really good for someone that never had German food before. If you're not a fan of pickled veggies, I'd recommend asking to remove them from the meal. Service was attentive and efficient and our waitress even gave us a few pretzels to go as they were closing, very nice of them. All in all good drinks, generous portions, and hearty food in a relaxed setting. Exactly what you'd want from a local German spot, would come back if I'm in the area again.
