While I don't typically drink a lot of beer, their black IPA was a standout--rich and dark like a stout, but finished with the crisp bitterness of an IPA. A really interesting flavor profile. So please double check with barista/management. One of the things I love about this locally owned coffee shop is their food. It's actually filling, which isn't always the case with cafés. My favorites are the honey garlic toast, bagels with cream cheese, and the buldak pizza. The shop itself is clean, well-maintained, and the restroom is always fresh, which I really notice and appreciate. There's typically a barista at the front to take orders, and when it gets busy, there's also a kiosk available. The layout is clear, with signs showing where to order and pick up, so it's easy to navigate. They also host events and offer space for meetings or casual hangouts, which adds to the community feel. It's a great spot to relax, read, study, or get work done. If I lived closer, I'd probably be here all the time. However, service is really friendly, and they're a great little refreshment and carb stop if you're walking around the mall. They're definitely are more consistent and better and friendlier than 90% of what is in this mall in Sugar Land.
