When we explained that we had not consumed anything, he became verbally rude and even used profanity toward us. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and despite us remaining calm, he called security. We asked to speak with a manager, and while most of the staff behind the bar were not helpful in deescalating the situation, one (male) bartender did inform us that the manager was arriving. When she did, she handled everything professionally--she quickly recognized we were not being confrontational and asked security to leave. She was calm, understanding, and respectful, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we will not be returning.
