Medium Oreo milkshake and Large original Cappuccino Blast
    Cecilia S.

When walking in, there's no direct line really, so you sort if stand around waiting for your turn or walk to the counter if there's not that many customers or if there's none at all. Once you're helped, the person serving you is nice and allows you to try any flavor that sticks out to you. My favorite thing to do is ask for a sample of the Flavor of the Month because I never know if I'll like it or not, and I like to try new things. The sample is a nice little scoop on a mini spoon, a good little taste. The flavor of the month this April was Marigold Dreamsicle. My fiancé got an Oreo milkshake, and I got my favorite Original Cappuccino Blast. Their Cappuccino Blast is something I've loved since I was a kid because it was my mom's favorite drink for a long time, I grew up taking little sips of hers and grew to love it myself. I totally recommend the drink to anyone who likes a sweet blended iced coffee. They also come in other flavors and sizes if an original isn't your thing! The service is nice and personable, but don't come if you're in a rush because they tend to have only one or two people serving at once, and when they do blended drinks like the ones we ordered today, they can take a little bit of time, but I assure you it's worth the wait. They serve so many unique and tasty flavors that are def worth a stop to check out and try. Right now, they're also offering a free scoop for anyone who downloads their app and enrolls in their offers. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

I came to this Baskin Robbins on 08/31/20 as the other locations were already closed and this location closed at 10pm. This location has been here since I was a little girl and probably my very first ice cream experience as a little girl! This is my childhood location my parents would take my sisters and I. Even as Teens the middle school and high school I went to was walking distance. The last time I came to this location was in 2015 with a few Fresno State peeps before I went off to Los Angeles for my masters. It was meant for my to come back to my stomping grounds and as a little girl not much has changed! The staff was friendly and wearing masks. I ended up getting my usual which was Pistachio almond and strawberry cheesecake. I got the dude Chocolate Peanut Butter and Jamocha Almond fudge. Delicious as always! Need to come here again as I miss my old neighborhood I spent most of my life at.

This is by far the BEST Baskin Robbins in Fresno! I love all of the staff! They are so friendly and tend to your needs! They make a perfect cappuccino blast just the way I love it with chocolate ice cream. I live by Woodward park and they just built one out here but I'm thinking about driving back to this one because the atmosphere is super friendly and accommodating! like I said they have also perfected my drink!

I am so glad we stopped by here for dessert. When we entered this shop, we were greeted by Isaiah. He had a nice big smile and asked us how we were. He also asked if there were any flavors we would like to sample as to just standing waiting for us to ask if we can sample this can we sample that. There were so many new flavors that we got to try. However, I stuck to my favorite, nutty coconut. My husband got keylime pie and my daughter always gets cotton candy. Isaiah continued to make conversation with us and asked about our day. My husband even commented that he had great customer service. I felt that he was genuinely nice and cared for people. The way he represented himself and the shop was incredible. After I paid, he continued to keep himself busy with whatever he was doing for the shop. I didn't see him on his phone at all and didn't see him just standing around doing nothing. A couple of girls came in and again Isaiah continue to acknowledge them with his friendly smile and conversation. They wanted to sample almost all the flavors. Isaiah was very patient and polite and allowed them to sample the flavors they wanted. The store was clean and there was plenty of parking. I like how the ice cream didn't have freezer burns like a few places we have been to. They have a lot of flavors and were all fully stocked. Their ice cream was very creamy. Not only do they have ice cream, but you can get a milkshakes, smoothies, cookie/brownie sandwiches, sundaes, banana split, and more. They also have a couple of sugar free and non dairy ice creams too. I will continue to come back and recommend this place for a yummy treat. I hope his employer appreciates him.

I don't think I'd ever had Baskin-Robbins before?! When we had a bit of a heatwave last week, it got me craving something cold and sweet. Sadly both of the rolled ice cream places near me have shut down, so we decided to spring for some Baskin-Robbins. It was a Thursday evening, about 8pm, a little under an hour before closing. They're limiting the number of customers inside. When we arrived, two guests were leaving and there was a big family waiting outside. They waved us ahead since they were still deciding. When we walked in, to the employees' credit, they told us the family had been waiting. The lights are bright, it was clean and the options were plentiful. The girl who helped us was friendly and quick. I went for 2 scoops - one rocky road, one pineapple-coconut. My husband got a couple of scoops of mint choc chip. It was about $4 each. The rocky road was good, had that nice fudgey texture and the marshmallows were soft. It had generous chunks of almond in there too. The pineapple-coconut was a good sorbet with pineapple pieces in it. A nice treat and a good snack. Not too much and not too pricey!

During COVID, only 4 guests allowed per visit. This place is very clean and the girl working here is super friendly and helpful! She helped me find the perfect cake to help me minimize the time I spent here and not having to handle all the cakes in the refrigerator to find the exact one I needed. The ice cream cakes have gotten a tad pricey but we don't buy these everyday so I'm good with it if it helps keep this place open during these financially unstable times. What more can I say about BR? Their ice cream is yummy and there are so many flavors to choose from but you already knew that, right?

    So cute!

How cute is this "desert" dessert!? These employees are so fun and creative, and they are always so kind! I love this location!

We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The owner's mentioned on articles that there's no one to take over and you don't become a master overnight.
