We have come here for YEARS for celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries and just for fun. This location may be small but it's mighty! The front of house is tidy and neat and you can pick what you want from the display case. The counter workers are always friendly and helpful and more than willing to go a voice and beyond in answering questions. We love to get the whole array and it's unfair to play favorites here but you can't go wrong in summer with their strawberry tarts. For a rich treat try a salted caramel cupcake or one of the chocolate cupcakes. For a lighter flavour try the pink champagne cupcake with whipped frosting. In the spring they serve slices of rainbow jello cake which is delicious! They also take orders for custom cakes! read more

The cupcakes are so delicious! I am not vegan by any means and even their vegan cupcakes are yummy! We usually get a pup cupcake for our fur baby and she absolutely loves it. The staff is always welcoming and easy going. They also sell milk and other beverages to go along with your sweet treat! read more

omg such a welcoming environment here! I was a little shy when I went since I was not sure what flavors they had. But the worker was so patient with me as I figured out the flavors I wanted. I love the pink Champagne cupcake; it helped cure my sweet tooth. I devoured the frosting, but it balanced with the cupcake when fully eaten. I had to grab the seasonal candy corns for fun, and it was so good. read more

Frosted Cakery is a local favorite! We love popping in to try their delicious treats, it's always hard to pick, so we usually grab a variety pack. They made a custom cake for my son's 1st birthday, and it turned out exactly as I envisioned. Both in design and taste! The attention to detail and care they put into their cakes is why we chose Frosted! Amazing quality and service every time! read more

I find better customer service at Vons bakery than this place. Really expected too much from a local bakery to make a cake for 2 kids that had a birthday. Both the service and the outcome of the birthday cake were bad. I asked why Happy Birthday wasn't on the cake that I ordered for the birthday was answered with an attitude and that it isn't written down. Again not my problem since I didn't write that down for them. This place is not worth anyone wasting their money, energy and peace for this place. read more

Delicious cake!! I live out of town and wanted to find a bakery that allowed me to order/pay for a cake remotely (you can place orders online), but that also had good reviews and was near the Chaffee Zoo. I needed to grab one for my grandmas bday and it's tough to find a decent bakery that makes champagne cake. This was the winner so I was crossing my fingers it was good based on the Yelp reviews and having never tasted anything from them. I ordered the signature pink champagne cake (6") and that thing was HUGE!!! I was shocked how big it was! It was also delicious!! Very moist and all flavors blended well. I don't like champagne cake, but man this cake was good! Tasted kind of more strawberry, but I enjoyed it and so did my grandma (champagne cake is her fav). I would absolutely order here again! read more

We ordered a 6-inch canvas cake for our wedding. It was so beautiful and simple, exactly what we were looking for for our DIY national park forest wedding. We added the flowers and topper ourselves, the initials and heart were on there from the bakery. We got the vanilla and raspberry flavor and loved it. We picked it up at the bakery very cold and it survived the two-hour drive in an air conditioned car. Can't wait to eat more of it on our first anniversary! read more

Had a slice with my afternoon tea and it was lovely soft texture, gentle sweetness, not too heavy. Just what I needed to slow down a bit.

I LOVE walking into Frosted! It smells like sugary heaven with just the right amount of cinnamon and goodness. I've always been greeted with smiles and kind service, thanks to the girl who helped repeat the name of a cupcake cause I couldn't hear well. We ordered a cronut and four gluten free cupcakes - one of every flavor they had that day. Holiday treat! The raspberry and peppermint were top faves, the salted caramel was more ok. Overall everything was super yummy and we loved our goodies! read more

This is going to be a short review because all I can say is it was delicious lol! I did a walk in and they have a few cakes that you can come in and grab (call ahead for flavors and to put a cake on hold!). Got the 6" 3-layer salted carmel cake. It was bomb -- flavorful, soft, and not overly sweet. No complaints, will have to come back and try different flavors of cupcakes! I didn't think a 6" cake would be big but yeah....feeds 8-10 people and they aren't kidding. Its a tall cake so it should be more than enough! I really don't think you can go wrong. read more

Awesome experience ! Deborah is amazing. So helpful and knowledgeable! And the cakes are beautiful, cupcakes too cute. Love This place!

Visited this bakery on a Wednesday morning to purchase gluten free cupcakes for a couple of young ladies in my Girl Scout troop that have celiac disease. The employee at the counter helped me immediately, and was courteous and friendly. The bakery appeared clean and had a large selection of yummy looking pastries and goodies for sale. My Girl Scouts were very happy with the cupcakes, especially when they discovered that they were cream filled. I will definitely be back to try the other selections myself. read more

So delicious! This review is actually for the Bullard and West location. I didn't see it on Yelp maybe because it's newer than the tower district location... Working in the same shopping center, I've become a huge fan. The variety of options is great and they're all delicious. So cool they do customized cakes and cupcakes as well. Make sure you put your order in about a month before though, because they are busy! Staff is so sweet and generous. So appreciate them always. Can't wait to keep supporting their business! read more

Cupcakes and other small desserts are 5 out of 5! Cakes are beautiful but are hit and miss with moisture content (3-4 stars). We have been customers for several years now and have consistently received excellent service! My sister once surprised me with a multi tier birthday cake that had family pictures as the artwork on the cake..it was a lovely surprise especially since it was my first birthday without our mom. My husband was impressed by the care the staff took to load the cake into the car. We also LOVED the book birthday cake for our bookworm daughter! We had our kids attend their holiday cupcake decorating class when they were younger and it was a hit with them AND we got to eat the fruit of their labor!I also love the cookie decorating kits they sell during Christmas..makes a nice gift. I am grateful that Frosted Cakery has stayed in the Tower Distict and they are located in a spot with convenient parking. A great addition to the neighborhood and close to our home! read more

Beautiful presentation. People have preferences about their cake styles and I like mine a little lighter - this cupcake was dense so it's not my personal first choice, but still very nice and moist. I also tried a hand pie, which was delicious. read more

Idk, did we just go on a really bad day or something? My fiancée and I came here because we are talking about having cupcakes at our wedding and decided to do a tasting due to hearing good reviews. We ordered four flavors: Blueberry lemon, raspberry vanilla, chocolate peanut butter cup, and cookies and cream. All of them were bad and neither of us took more than one bite of each flavor. We couldn't taste the lemon at all, every cupcake was dense, every frosting was bland, and the two chocolate ones were stale. I hope it was just a fluke but either way, we will definitely be going elsewhere for our wedding cupcakes. read more

Such a great experience and the worker that helped me was extremely kind and welcoming! Happy to give recommendations and answer any questions. They have a huge variety of desserts, cupcakes, cookies, etc. It's all out for you to see as well! The shop is really cute and decorated for Halloween. I ended up getting a cronut and snickerdoodle cupcake that looks really delicious! Checked out with well wishes! Clean & safe. Great service and delicious desserts! Highly recommended! read more

The Frosted Cakery I went to is at Bullard & West in the Pavilion's Shopping Centre. That is how I found them when I was shopping. I setup a convenient time for a tasting and ordered far in advance for my wedding. From day one forward, the process of ordering and choosing the cake was simple. Beverly and the staff at Frosted Cakery kept in touch with me about timing, delivery of our flowers to decorate our cake and we paid in advance. It just could not have been a better tasting and more beautiful cake. I also think it was very well priced. I will definitely order my 1st Anniversary cake in advance next year as I heard from the Frosted Cakery that the need months in advance for any wedding cake. ~Ms. Ali read more

I've been going here for years and I have to say the quality has gone down the last several times we've ordered cupcakes. They are always beautiful, the flavors are delightful and the consistency is great. The thing I'm having a hard time with is there's almost a freezer burn after taste. Or you know when you leave something in the refrigerator uncovered and it picks up other flavors? It's something like that. Maybe it's because we always order to go and the cupcakes in the case are fresher. I think next time I'll go in and just order a couple out of the case and see if there's a difference because I really love this place. read more

Been here a few times and I do really like the cupcakes and pies. Atmosphere insides is that of a to go place you don't really have an option to sit and eat. Although the cupcakes and pies are fantastic they just don't have much cake or filling in the case of the pie. Frosting is great but when I want a pie I really crave the inside a whole lot more. I ate the pumpkin one and felt like there was one bite of pumpkin and it was really good pumpkin. Rest of it was frosting which I threw out. Overall a great cake shop with a lot to improve read more

So disappointed. I was having a really hard time with Mother's Day and my best friend sent me a doordash gift. I was excited for my gift and treat. I've had frosted cakery before and was pleased. The frosting was decent but the cupcakes themselves were extremely dry. What a disappointing experience. read more

They have two locations, and I went to the one located deep in the heart of Fresno. Their cupcakes are almost too beautiful to eat. I grabbed a box of 6 diff ones to try since I live in SJ.. would be a waste to just buy one. My fav is the salted caramel. Love that their flavors are always changing. I did find that they are slightly on the dry side but the heaping amount of frosting will fix that right up. read more

Absolutely love the cupcakes from this place, especially the vegan cupcakes since I can't really have dairy. They always have a few vegan options available, and they always taste amazing. Also, I am super impressed with their large order process. We needed 5 dozen + cupcakes in a hurry (48 hour turnaround) and they were able to make them with no problem. Everyone at our event enjoyed their cupcakes, and we loved how we could accommodate so many different tastes and dietary needs. The cake was incredible! The service was lacking. We chose Frosted Cakery as our cake vendor because when my husband and I first moved in together we lived in an apartment right behind the Tower District location and we really wanted to incorporate those early days of our relationship into the big day. The cake itself was beautiful and delicious. We chose honey butter and lemon as the flavors and guests loved both! We had so many people taking pictures of the cake which was the perfect combination of our inspiration photo and made for a great backdrop to our sweetheart's table. The customer service was spotty. We had a great cake tasting and we left the appointment confident that they understood our vision. A few days after the final payment was made I checked-in via email to confirm our flavors see if there was any additional questions. I never received a response. My mom called both locations and never was able to talk to someone about our cake. My planner also emailed and called. Finally, our planner go ahold of someone who claimed to have left me several voicemails which was simply untrue. They finally called me and once again claimed they had left voicemails but my call log showed that this was the first call I had from them. I was very nervous that the cake would just not show up on the day of, but my wedding planner added them to her follow-up list and confirmed all the details so I didn't have to worry about it anymore. Without my planner that interaction over the phone would have sent me into full-blown panic mode. In the end, the cake was perfect! I just wish their communication was as great. read more
