This was more than cake. It was a celebration of a little girl who has grown so much over the past year. You've gone from singing songs from Encanto to speaking in full sentences with connecting words. You tackled potty training and mastered it in just a few weeks. Every milestone this year has reminded me how strong, smart, and determined you are.   The cupcakes and birthday cake were more than just dessert. They were a mom's way of celebrating her daughter in a way she knew she'd remember. Knowing Vivian, she'll probably be talking about those cupcakes and that cake for the next 365 days.   A special thank you to Josie!! I've trusted you for 4 years for all kinds of special occasions, and every single cake has been absolutely gorgeous. You have exceeded my expectations every single time--not just with your talent, but with the love and care you put into your work.   Thank you for making my little girl's sixth birthday truly magical. You helped create memories that will last far longer than the last slice of cake. read more

ASAP CAKES rock! I am such a last minute princess these days and needed a cute custom cake short noticed. I always saw ASAP cakes pop up on social media so I remembered and sought out this place as I really needed a Sonic Cake in a few days. The owner was the sweetest. She seriously worked with my hectic work schedule taking my calls and texts late in the evening and night to make sure she heard me and what I needed. I inquired if she could do Sonic and if you have not seen the cake go see it!!! It was beyond my hearts desire ... basically my expectations was blown! The customer service is stellar and even threw in a small cake for my dad since he is special (he hates chocolate). Everyone in my family wanted chocolate of some sort and she made a plain cake for him. The process was smooth from inquire, to picking up and the birthday girls was thrilled for her birthday cake. It came together: Now for the cakes. They tasted absolutely delicious!! Not too sweet , moist and yummy. We all loved the cake !!! The frosting was so perfect not heavy but light with texture...the cake and cup cakes were delicious!! The birthday girl was satisfied 100%. I'm not really a cake person but when done right I am!! I would highly recommend this Baker for your dessert needs. My family and I are happy to have the cake made and it was so beautiful and special!!! Plus the owner has a lovely story! Overall, impressed and definitely recommend and get cakes here again! read more

ASAP Cakes Highly exceeded all expectations! WOW! JUST WOW! I couldn't have imagined how great this cake turned out. I found this amazing cake baker, Josie at ASAP cakes in Fresno, with only 5 days until my son's 26th birthday party. My son just got chickens on his property so I thought a chicken cake would be funny! And boy was it ever! But I just could not believe what a masterpiece it also was!! Not only was it completely chicken like in appearance but the cake itself (no, it was not chicken inside, haha) was absolutely delicious! It was light, not overly sweet, and the filling was so tasty! I chose a vanilla pudding and raspberry apple filling with the hopes that the reddish/white filling would ooze out a little when the cake was cut (for effect), and it DID! It was perfect and really funny! The fondant leaves, which were all individually cut into shape and meticulously designed, were also surprisingly delicious! The fondant was lighter than typical heavier fondant and also the perfect texture. The time it must have taken to perfectly cut, shape, and detail each unique fondant feather is mind boggling. Oh, there were even made cake/fondant "eggs." The extra time and care and attention to detail was off the charts! Everything about this amazing cake was a reflection of utmost love and care and we SO appreciated that!! Josie and her son are pure talent and I am SO very happy to have found them. Not only are they crazy talented, but Josie was incredibly kind and helpful on the phone, and she was genuinely AS excited about making this cake as I was ordering it! It was kismet from the moment she answered the phone! Obviously, our entire group HIGHLY recommends Josie and ASAP Cakes to everyone!! read more

Josie did an amazing job on the cake for my parents' 70th anniversary. It was a work of art. Beautiful and delicious! She also surprised me with a tray of delicious cupcakes as a gift. I ordered from out of state and picked the cake up after I arrived. Had to put it on ice for the trip up to Mariposa, but as you can see in the pic, it arrived intact. Josie is extremely talented and I recommend her cakes very highly. She was a pleasure to work with. read more

I never leave reviews but she did an amazing job from start to finish. I needed this cake last minute and ordered it 2 days ahead, she got it done! She gave me updates on my cake and the status such as when it was being baked, frosted, and finished. Very reasonable pricing I was expecting to spend $100+ way more especially for the amazing detail and quality. Taste was amazing, pudding wasn't runny and the cake was very spongy 11/10!! Before arriving she sent photos of where exactly to park and the residence has signs so you know you're at your destination. She was so friendly and gave great post pick up instructions! I will definitely be ordering again. read more

We always ordered cakes from a bakery "store" so ordering from a home business was out of our comfort zone. But with all the great 5 star reviews we gave it a shot. Now add us to the 5 star list. Our daughter's cake turned out great. Josie was so helpful. I had a hello kitty cake in mind and she turned it into something way better. My daughter wanted marble and I'm not a fan of , but Josie made me a new fan now. The whipped frosting was great. Not too sweet like all the other cakes we've had. We also got the cupcakes and those were great too. We found our go to bakery in Fresno. read more
