He arrives at 3:30, doors locked, no one there, ghost town. Call the number, get a call center. They confirmed that it was a good appointment, puts me on hold, they speak with manager who says she called me multiple times and left messages. I check my phone, nothing, no messages, no missed calls. Then they have the audacity to say they canceled it because it would take to long... I schedule this and confirmed everything, got multiple emails with the confirmation. We are leaving for a trip the following day, 4 hour drive so it has to be fixed. I ask if they work Saturdays, we are not leaving till the evening. They do repairs on Saturdays but am told they won't repair ours, those repairs are for rental customers only... They have my email, they could have sent a text too, basic customer service, but it's convenient to just say we tried calling, because she never did. The manager also refused to get on the phone... 1 STAR -- VERY BAD BUSINESS…read more I would NOT recommend Diaz Auto Glass based on my experience. About five months ago, I paid for what I expected to be a brand-new windshield. The windshield they installed was cracked. I immediately brought the issue to their attention and was told it would be replaced. That turned into FIVE MONTHS of waiting. First, the owner was on vacation. Then he was busy multiple times. I continued to be patient and gave them plenty of opportunities to make it right. Finally, months later, I had an appointment scheduled to get the damaged windshield replaced. The morning of my appointment, I was sent a picture of another broken/chipped windshield and told that my replacement would now be pushed back another couple of weeks. This is completely unacceptable. I paid for a NEW windshield, not a cracked windshield followed by five months of excuses, delays, rescheduling, and another damaged replacement. Mistakes happen in business--I understand that. What matters is how a business handles the mistake. Making a paying customer wait FIVE MONTHS to receive what they originally paid for, and then canceling again the morning of the replacement, is VERY BAD BUSINESS and terrible customer service. After five months, I should not still be chasing a company to get the brand-new, damage-free windshield that I already paid for. Extremely disappointing experience.
