1 STAR -- VERY BAD BUSINESS…read more I would NOT recommend Diaz Auto Glass based on my experience. About five months ago, I paid for what I expected to be a brand-new windshield. The windshield they installed was cracked. I immediately brought the issue to their attention and was told it would be replaced. That turned into FIVE MONTHS of waiting. First, the owner was on vacation. Then he was busy multiple times. I continued to be patient and gave them plenty of opportunities to make it right. Finally, months later, I had an appointment scheduled to get the damaged windshield replaced. The morning of my appointment, I was sent a picture of another broken/chipped windshield and told that my replacement would now be pushed back another couple of weeks. This is completely unacceptable. I paid for a NEW windshield, not a cracked windshield followed by five months of excuses, delays, rescheduling, and another damaged replacement. Mistakes happen in business--I understand that. What matters is how a business handles the mistake. Making a paying customer wait FIVE MONTHS to receive what they originally paid for, and then canceling again the morning of the replacement, is VERY BAD BUSINESS and terrible customer service. After five months, I should not still be chasing a company to get the brand-new, damage-free windshield that I already paid for. Extremely disappointing experience. Something urgent came up and I requested if 3 days were possible to complete it. He said he'd do his best. On the 3 rd day he had it done and as "topping on the cake" he said the charge was $40 less than the estimate. Will is an incredibly noble and honorable craftsman who gives a personal connection that thee customer will never get at the big national body shop chains. A call to chris led to an appointment being made 2 weeks hence at 11:00 am where the situation would be addressed and a check for $100.00 would be issued to cover the additional detailers fee of 4 weeks prior at approx 10;00 am on the 16th of april a message was received that the mechanic who was suppose to readjust the door had called out sick. with that I showed up at 11;00 am to pick up the check that had taken approx 3 weeks to issue due to the accountant not being in attendance. I then told Chris the I would not be returning the vehicle for any adjustments or claims about their Lifetime warranty on repairs. We took our SUV to CarToyz because the hood and roof had become dull after of going through so many car washes using brushes and harsh detergents combined with UV. Our vehicle was returned in worse shape than when we brought it in! When we dropped off our SUV, the hood was dull had minor scratches, but not it was not excessively scratched, color was consistently green, but dull. What Distinctive CarToyz returned to us was excessive scratch marks carved in the front hood and the green color removed/gone (see the photos). They also managed to remove the paint finish around the ignition switch. The interior of the car smelled like they had spilled an entire bottle of Windex inside. Clearly, the job was not in the wheelhouse. To add insult to injury they removed the car dealership decal on the back and put on their own Distinctive CarToyz business frame (see photo) around the back license plate. Blatantly corrupt to have people think we purchased our Tahoe from them and not from a reputable dealership. They are any but reputable. We took our SUV to our car dealer and for only a couple hundred dollars more than what CarToyz charged us ($1,500), Bennett Chevrolet made our SUV look brand new!

Throughout our ownership experience, they consistently took good care of us, and that positive experience was one of the reasons we returned when it was time to buy another vehicle. While the incorrect tire installation was a significant mistake, I believe the way the general manager handled it demonstrated accountability and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Our sales experience remains disappointing, and it ultimately cost the dealership our business. However, because of the professionalism shown afterward, I felt it was only fair to update my review to four stars to reflect both the negative experience and the meaningful effort that was made to correct it. Original review: We were loyal customers of this dealership for nearly three years. We purchased our previous vehicle there, returned for every oil change and scheduled service, and even bought a full set of replacement tires from them. We purchased our new vehicle from another dealership that day. We understand that dealerships compete on price, and we don't expect every dealer to have the best offer.
