It took me 40 minutes to find a spot a quarter mile away and I was congratulated how lucky I was. At least all the parents seemed careful not to encroach on any driveways but still, the traffic! At the complex, there's only a small lot that accommodates about 20 cars, not even enough space for the judges and coaches. The pool is well maintained but the deck around it, small. Locker and restrooms are woefully lacking and old. I was grateful I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for one of three stalls in the ladies' restroom. Not my favorite competition spot.

One thing I really like is that this is the only gym I've been to where my car has never been vandalized. At other gyms in Vallejo I've had my windows smashed, but never here. I'm not sure if it's because of the location or because the security guards are always walking the parking lot, but it definitely gives me peace of mind. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the gym is clean, and they've been doing a lot of renovations lately. The equipment is well maintained, and the machines are rarely out of order. My only complaint is that the main weight room is a little small and can get crowded during peak hours. Other than that, it's a great gym, and I'd definitely recommend it.

I went into the locker room and someone had apparently clipped the lock and took my backpack with all my belongings in it and took the lock. It was a "Fingerprint to open" lock. The staff inspected it and wrote a report but offered me nothing! I will never go to this location again. I will find another location and I will not be using the lockerroom lockers again!!!!!

Certain machines are very popular/almost always in use like the assisted pull up. I think there may only be one of those. There's a vending machine with drinks available. The people working at the front have been polite. Be warned there are signs not to leave any valuables in the lockers. Keep them with you at all times. Even in early-mid January this gym wasn't that crowded.

It's hard to believe the Doughboy pool he installed lasted us that long! But it did. Truly impressive. We were pretty satisfied customers. We looked up Pristine Pool in Forestville and were thrilled that Rod and his son Mark were still in business. We called and discussed the project, and Rod came over and took some measurements. In no time at all, Rod had a backhoe and crew over to clear the site of fire debris and prepare the area for a bigger, deeper, and way more funner pool than we had before. Four potable water truck deliveries later, the pool was finally filled, and my three dogs were again happy campers. Well, we were too. It took eight weeks from start to finish. Rod coordinated everything needed -- site excavation, surface preparation, pool wall and liner installation, pool filtration, startup, and chemicals. Everything worked out as expected. Our only delay was waiting three weeks for Doughboy to manufacture the 28x16' oval pool liner: a tricky one requiring a significant 7' deep end. But it was worth the wait. Our dogs and visiting company have enjoyed the pool since Pristing Pool installed it. And we have had absolutely no issues with anything at all. Interestingly, Pristine Pool and Spa do more than just install pools; they also repair them. Early one spring morning in 2022, a large mature Doe and her newborn Fawn decided to go swimming in the pool. The Doe managed to get herself out, but not before poking a few invisible holes somewhere in the liner, causing a slow leak in need of repair. We called Pristine Pool for advice, and Ron advised that his son, Mark, provided leak detection and repair services. How lucky was that? Mark arrived a few days later. It was April, and the pool water bore winter's comforting chill still. Nonetheless, Mark donned a wetsuit and some diving gear, jumped in, and within 15 minutes, managed to find a collection of virtually invisible holes in the floor and sides of the pool liner, which he patched and immediately stopped the pool from losing water further. Cost? Less than a fancy dinner for two up. We were stoked! The company and its owners, Rod and Mark, have proved and continue to remain trustworthy, skilled, and high-quality craftsmen who take pride in their work and that of their employees and care genuinely for their customers. Less than two years later it is leaking due to not putting the right glue on the PVC parts and components. When I spoke with him on the phone today 8/1/26 all he could say was bad news and that they no longer do that kind of job. Now I know why! We thought this idea would be difficult to execute because it would need engineering, electrical work, plumbing, lighting, plants, boulders, and a beautiful design. We contacted Jorge and explained what we wanted and after a consultation of about an hour at our home, he said he would think about it and give us a proposal. We were amazed at the conceptual design that he had and that he had diagrammed, overwhelmed by his attention to detail in the bid, and incredulous that he and his crew brought it flawlessly to fruition.
