Better than the other restaurant in front of this one. At least for breakfast! Had a full vegetarian and normal British breakfast and we're both good. Service is attentive and fast. Would definitely return there after trying so many other options in Edi's airport.

There ain't a time zone in airports.

Devoid of atmosphere, but that is the same for all airport pubs. Why am I giving it three stars, you might then ask. Well it's the beer! They have an excellent array of craft beers, Rogue, Brooklyn, Goose Island to name just a few. On top of that it is comfortable and clean and a good stop as you wait excitedly for your plane to arrive to take you to sunnier lands. The best bar at this airport by far.

The Nachos with pulled pork were below average... The guacamole didn't taste fresh at all. The Doombeef and ale pie was pretty good on the other hand. It was my first time tasting it and I enjoyed it- I also liked how hot the plate came out. You order at the bar, so there's barely any service. The food took longer then expected to arrive, probably because a table of 7 sat before us and the restaurant was decently full. I walked around the airport and I think this is the nicest place to grab a decent meal.

For an airport restaurant, this place is really quite good. We had the "curry feast for two." For 15 pounds we had the Chicken Jalfrezi and the Lamb Rogan Josh - both were excellent. The price also included two drinks, a pint of Fosters and a glass of wine. Oh, yes, and some poppadums were included, along with some naan and chutney. A real treat and not a bad bargain to boot.

Date: 31/01/16 Venue: nice quite place to relax before boarding your flight Food and drink: haggis neeps and tatties was ok. Ive never had it before so can't compare. The ultimate burger was really bad and the chips were cold and rubbery. The drinks were really nice though. Service: friendly and quick. Plenty of staff Value: not too bad considering its airport food. Would try somewhere else before thinking about coming.back

7/6/24. You need to change your Fryer oil, food tastes off and it's all dark in color. Food sounded better than what was served.

You're right next to the canal and the sight of swans is magical. The staff there is attentive and truly friendly wanting your experience to be great. Their restaurant is very popular and after having dined there I can see why. The bangers and mash is delicious. They gravy is flavorful and the mashed potatoes are silky. The steak pie was probably the best we had tasted in all of our Scotland visit. We were ashamed to not be able to finish it all due to being full. Their sticky toffee pudding was also fabulous. We got their small plate and could have licked the cup clean it that good. If you can, this is a great place to visit and try

The Bridge Inn overlooks the Union Canal, and we could watch the canal boats tie up outside our window for the night with boaters on their way to the pub. The pub on site is excellent-and we decided to have a nice dinner at the Inn, and it was wonderful! We ordered the steak dinner, and the chicken with leeks dinner-both perfectly prepared! Don't worry about being too full for dessert-they have a "mini dessert" menu with smaller portion sizes to try, we had the sticky toffee pudding-so good! Breakfast is provided in the dining room offering every option to tempt you from healthy oats and yogurt, to French toast with local made fruit compote (my favorite!). As our stay was right before the holidays, they had their Holiday Event Menu out for 2023 with special events for New Years and Breakfast with Santa for the little ones. It was an excellent stay with very friendly service!

You basically find a table if you can manage to find one open, figure out what you want on the menu, then walk up to the counter to order and pay (please note the # on your table to give them), and then it comes out to you. The prices are highway robbery for what you get. I ordered the club sandwich served with chips. The toasted sourdough bread came with chicken breast, bacon, mature cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. The sandwich was just okay. One side of my sandwich had these two small slices of chicken on it. There was a whole lot of everything but chicken. The chips on the other hand were phenominal and very tasty. I had a diet soda to go with my sandwich. I also ordered a glass of water which we never got. My husband ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. Please don't mistake this for the caesar we have in the states as the taste if very different and seems to come on a l lot of the sandwiches in the UK. He didn't like it, but was hungry and ate it anyway for the price. A few helpful folks at the counter recommended a beer to him he tried and downed. The chips and beer seem to be the winners of this dining experience. The place is okay. The price and dining experience don't really match up even for an airport and being in the UK, but when in "....." you don't have many options. I noticed on one of the table signs there is an app you can use to order, and the food will come out to you. I posted a picture of it to go with the review. There is also more seating away from the main area that we didn't notice until walking to our gate. That would've been good to know when we were struggling to find a table prior, but the setup isn't straightforward where the additional tables are.

It's just wrong to take advantage of travelers when they're captive and waiting for a flight. And for a place to be named for the great Scottish writer, this restaurant owes it to Walter to step up its game. Sadly, I will not hold my breath. You'll eat. It's average food. You'll pay through the nose to get it. And then they'll fleece the next family traveling through....

This meant that on a recent pre-holiday airport wait we decided to skip the Weatherspoon's and go for some champagne instead. Instead of being in a bar, your more at a station in the middle of the departure lounge, but actually I quite liked that. (Plenty of people watching opportunities) The menu has food and drinks on it, but we just went with champagne. The cheapest one it had to be though and that was still bloody expensive! Still, it was lovely and that was the main thing. If you are at the airport and don't want to be stuck in the pub with ten stag and hen party groups, I can recommend this place to you. A bit more peaceful, nice food and drink options and fast efficient service. Just bring plenty of cash.

Flutes and Tails replaces the previous seafood bar that was here and seems a wee bit more inviting. There's a range of drinks, not just fizz and the cheapest glass of fizz starts at £9.95. Some classy looking reds and white wines were on the menu but they had house wines too for more of a budget friendly option. I ordered Pommery (£12 a glass ) and pop corn (£4.50). I liked the snack option - I wanted something to soak up the alcohol as I'd knew I'd eat in London plus eat fish on the plane so this was new from the previous incarnation. Joe and Sephs pop corn is also gluten free and they had 3-4 different types which I liked. The bowl was actually quite a big bowl so pretty filling. Service was friendly and efficient. Decent pour of champagne too and toddled off a bit buzzed for my flight :-) I'd probably come here again if I'm on a later flight as it was a nice wee treat to start of my travels. #yelpmission
