Oh the memories that this place bring back each time I'm here. Let's just say last time it was a major hoot... Terminal 5 and this place seems to be the liveliest. There's a few other eating spot but this one takes the cake for a the main hub. Of course the drinks which maybe cheaper than the other places here hence it's always busy. Food wise, your usual pub eats. They have some specialty dish as they would call but it's nothing major. The prices are whatever. You're going to expect to pay a little more as you're at the airport. It's a fast eats kind of place where you seat yourself. There's a QR plaque that's on every table for ordering. You can also go up to the bar and order there but remember the table number as that's how it gets delivered. If just ordering drinks yourself, it's probably fast to go up to the bar. It's pretty open concept with seating as it does get busy but people come and go so seats open up. Condiments are on the counter where you can help yourself. Ordered a small English breakfast while I was waiting for my connecting flight. The food was ok, egg overcooked and hash browns greasy. It wasn't hot either; like warm. Bonus for me was that I could order Irn Bru which is a Scottish soda. You order from the QR code on the table and your food is brought to your table. The place was packed full of people, but that's likely because people like me are waiting on their connections. Has a typical pub ambiance. read more

Decent place if you have couple hour wait in Heathrow for your next flight. It was packed, but managed to find a seat. They have nice option to order online with your phone, which took some figuring out, and had to use the airport WiFi, as my phone blocked the website. Probably lots of troll hackers there. Outstanding beer selection. I ordered the Brew Dog Elvis Juice. First time trying and I am hooked. Need to see where I can get that in the states. The food wasn't bad. Some yelp reviews state it is not good. It's not great, but not bad. I ordered the burger and it was decent. Meat was fine, and the chips (fries) were actually better than a lot of places in the states. All in all, recommend it if you have time to chill. The pizza looked good as well. read more

Located in Terminal A. Had an extended layover and this was the only restaurant still open after 7 pm. Because of this it was extremely busy. The server said expect about a 20 min wait for food. Due to the line, I decided to place a takeout order. Again I was reminded it'll be about 20 min. Less than 10 min later my food was ready. The chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing. The chicken itself was juicy and cooked perfectly. The only issue as you can see from the picture is the burnt hole in the bun. Other than that no issue. Would eat here again. read more

Very, very basic breakfast entrées. The fam bam and I stopped in for breakfast before our direct flight back to SFO. Granted we were seated rather quickly, we spent more time waiting for our server than actually waiting for a table. When he finally arrived to take our drink orders, it seemed like there was another wait just to get the drinks. Looking around, the restaurant was not at it's full capacity yet.. so, hummm? At this point, it was whatever, since we weren't in a rush for our flight and had plenty of time to kill... My mom and I ordered the Children's Breakfast. This option was cool, especially for all of us "bird eaters" that can't finish a regular sized meal proportion- they allow adults to order this. According to my pics, this plate consisted of the smallest English bacon cut, the smallest sausage, a hash brown round, 1 egg of choice, and a small serving of baked beans. All this for less than $10 bucks (to pounds in UK). All in all, this was the perfect proportion because we still couldn't really finish everything, lol. Husband got the breakfast sandwich which was okay. The sourdough was a bit stale. Dad ordered the traditional breakfast platter. His plate received every thing me and mom got plus, a tomato, grilled mushrooms and one more egg cooked to order. His place was $7 more than ours. Pretty pricey for airport selection, for basic airport food. When you're desperate, the cost doesn't phase you... would I recommend it this place for passer-by-ers? Wetherspoons is known to be cheap but this one has inflated prices because of where it's at. Cocktails aren't bad at £9 a pop and the most expensive food on the day menu (burrito) will only set you back £11.50. I didn't try the food but the Raspberry Royal and Espresso Martini were pretty good. Floor to ceiling Windows allow plenty of light but the view is planes, planes, planes. read more

Only had porridge here. It was presented with banana, honey and a small pot of nuts. It was instant porridge and needed a couple minutes to cook in the bowl with the lid on. All said, a pretty good and healthy option for an airport. Was served at the payment counter by a team leader who could not have been nicer and seemed to genuinely care that we had a good experience and wished us a happy flight. After a long flight and a decent sized layover I decided to eat here. They served my order very quickly (maybe 5 minutes), I ordered a burger. When it came I tried the fries first, they turned out to be pretty much flavorless. So I decided to skip them and move on to the actual burger, I took my first bite and it was one of the driest things I have ever had in my mouth... similar to a dry sponge. DO NOT ORDER THE BURGER As for ambiance this place is great to sit, and have a drink. But as for food eat before you arrive. -- EDIT After speaking with staff I was informed that it was dry because they are not allowed to use a grill in the airport (they need a disclaimer on that menu).
