    Great food

Decent place if you have couple hour wait in Heathrow for your next flight. It was packed, but managed to find a seat. They have nice option to order online with your phone, which took some figuring out, and had to use the airport WiFi, as my phone blocked the website. Probably lots of troll hackers there. Outstanding beer selection. I ordered the Brew Dog Elvis Juice. First time trying and I am hooked. Need to see where I can get that in the states. The food wasn't bad. Some yelp reviews state it is not good. It's not great, but not bad. I ordered the burger and it was decent. Meat was fine, and the chips (fries) were actually better than a lot of places in the states. All in all, recommend it if you have time to chill. The pizza looked good as well.

Located in Terminal A. Had an extended layover and this was the only restaurant still open after 7 pm. Because of this it was extremely busy. The server said expect about a 20 min wait for food. Due to the line, I decided to place a takeout order. Again I was reminded it'll be about 20 min. Less than 10 min later my food was ready. The chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing. The chicken itself was juicy and cooked perfectly. The only issue as you can see from the picture is the burnt hole in the bun. Other than that no issue. Would eat here again.

This place is nice because you seat yourself, qr codes on the table, decent size food and drink menus, and easy access to the flight status information.

My first dinner in London just happened to be on Halloween I enjoyed the table dividers to help keep a safe distance from other guests due to Covid-19. The fish was fried to a crisp perfection. Subtle yet pleasing taste my chips were nice and warm. I added a little salt and pepper. Overall great experience.

Great drink and food option at Heathrow's Terminal 5. There are other sit down places that are much more expensive. You can get a good craft beer (good selection) for less than 5 Pounds. Unlimited coffee! Which is great if you have a long layover. Food is solid, nothing fancy. Plenty of seating. Just pick a table, remember your table # and then go up to the counter and order. Location is on the ground floor next to gate A6.

Very, very basic breakfast entrées. The fam bam and I stopped in for breakfast before our direct flight back to SFO. Granted we were seated rather quickly, we spent more time waiting for our server than actually waiting for a table. When he finally arrived to take our drink orders, it seemed like there was another wait just to get the drinks. Looking around, the restaurant was not at it's full capacity yet.. so, hummm? At this point, it was whatever, since we weren't in a rush for our flight and had plenty of time to kill... My mom and I ordered the Children's Breakfast. This option was cool, especially for all of us "bird eaters" that can't finish a regular sized meal proportion- they allow adults to order this. According to my pics, this plate consisted of the smallest English bacon cut, the smallest sausage, a hash brown round, 1 egg of choice, and a small serving of baked beans. All this for less than $10 bucks (to pounds in UK). All in all, this was the perfect proportion because we still couldn't really finish everything, lol. Husband got the breakfast sandwich which was okay. The sourdough was a bit stale. Dad ordered the traditional breakfast platter. His plate received every thing me and mom got plus, a tomato, grilled mushrooms and one more egg cooked to order. His place was $7 more than ours. Pretty pricey for airport selection, for basic airport food. When you're desperate, the cost doesn't phase you... would I recommend it this place for passer-by-ers? Let's just say there are other options to consider first...

Very efficient service once you download the app. Breakfast menu was what we were looking for before our next flight.

    Tastes like soap.

Somehow they managed to mess up yogurt and granola. I also got egg Benedict and I was starving but couldn't finish it. I got yelled at for having my feet by the seat of the chair. Don't recommend

Wetherspoons is known to be cheap but this one has inflated prices because of where it's at. Cocktails aren't bad at £9 a pop and the most expensive food on the day menu (burrito) will only set you back £11.50. I didn't try the food but the Raspberry Royal and Espresso Martini were pretty good. Floor to ceiling Windows allow plenty of light but the view is planes, planes, planes.

    Porridge

Only had porridge here. It was presented with banana, honey and a small pot of nuts. It was instant porridge and needed a couple minutes to cook in the bowl with the lid on. All said, a pretty good and healthy option for an airport. Was served at the payment counter by a team leader who could not have been nicer and seemed to genuinely care that we had a good experience and wished us a happy flight. She appears to run a tidy ship!

totally dry old spongy slab of meat, know what you're getting yourself into

Stuck in Heathrow for several hours and starved, so we decided to try this place, mostly because of the ample seating.

What could go wrong? Well, first, the pub is a mess. The decor is very much I need of updating. The yellow light bulbs surely hide the true picture here. It's dated, stuffy, poorly maintained and in desperate need of modernising. The service at the bar wasn't very good either. Prices seem normal though. I got a bottle of still water for £1.50. The glass was clean and full of ice with a slice, so not bad there. Secondly, the restaurant part. The menus are tasty, the waitress is impossible to understand, and the food was served without any grace. I ate a green chicken curry that lacked much chicken and veg, but was swimming in coconut milk. The coconut rice was too sticky and the proportion of rice to curry was not right - more rice than was needed. By it tasted ok. Put it this way, I wouldn't rush back, and if I lived here I wouldn't eat here, but as I'm in the hotel across the road, it was a decent stop gap and probably much better than the food in the hotel bar.
