So, they re-ground the lenses but these weren't exactly right, either. As further evidence of their patience and good service, they offered to re-examine her eyes and try once again. By that time my wife knew she would soon need cataract surgery so the glasses, even if re-made correctly, would only be useful for a few months. Happily, rather than try to fit her with glasses that wouldn't be very useful, they refunded our money. 20/20 really tried to get them right for my wife. You couldn't ask for better service. He really knows the brands that are sold( material, lens, how it's made , style, etc). I decided to go for my two year eye exam since I thought the frames offered were very stylish and different. The ophthalmologist had the best manner I've ever encountered which made having my eye dilated less torturing. Now, I'm not very decisive and have a petite face . Alex pulled out so many frames with such patience. He was the first person to offer me glasses that fit my face without my eye lashes brushing on the lens (which I thought were normal and no one from my usual eye wear store noted or made such a recommendation ). This was life changing ! I can now blink without my lashes lightly brushing against the lens! He noted the bridge of my nose to help steer me on frames that wouldn't fit correctly on my face.
