She delivers the sort of old-school customer service that is almost never happens today. I made an appointment to get fitted for new Silhouette frames (they are the only game in town that carries a good selection) and to discuss progressive lenses. Arlene spend over an hour with me explaining the progressive lenses and taking numerous measurements to make sure everything was correct. The new glasses were ready in about a week and she got them fitted perfectly. Bottom line if you're in the market for new glasses or if you're not satisfied with your current optician, give Arlene a call and make an appointment to stop in. I couldn't be happier that i've found these folks.

I was more than…read moredisappointed when the optician failed to pull up my eye insurance coverage for 2 plans and only did one, the cheaper plan. She went thru the options and prices. totaling almost $700.00. I left the office and went home and reviewed my vision plans. I noticed she failed to pull up benefits for both plans, missed the VSP coverage which is by far the better coverage. I returned and pointed out the error and she initially pushed back on any oversight or mistake on her part. But I held firm and she finally acquiesced. The coverage under vsp resulted in my out of pocket for the same glasses and options was reduced to $190.00. I recently returned to the office to pick up the new glasses. Had a different optician. He was quite laid back and did not take any direction is assisting me thru the new glasses, how well they fit, whether they were a good size for my face etc. I instead had to step up and ask... so what do u need me to do? Oh read this card and see how well you can see... OK. anything else?? No not really, so I took it upon myself to stand up and look around the room and check far vision, reading signs and print around the office etc. He was quite unhelpful and really disengaged in the process. I have worn glasses since age 12. I have had many new optician experiences, this by far rates among the lowest in my expectations, quality and thoroughness and simple guidance and help.

( ie well over an hour ). Yesterday I contacted them about a possible emergency. My doctor was concerned that I may have a detached retina. I spoke to someone in the office staff who said hold on and then put me on a recording device. I called back and reached that same person and she said no one is at the desk at the moment and they have my phone number and my concerns. I never heard back from them yesterday and have still not heard back from them today. My doctors office tried to reach them yesterday afternoon and they didn't call back until this afternoon. Fortunately, I found another doctor and was seen this morning. There is absolutely no excuse for this and I strongly suggest that that you consider where you're going if you want decent care.

The price was…read morevery reasonable, but unfortunately, with her first new pair, she couldn't see clearly at all distances. 20/20 made adjustments, but still the specs didn't work correctly. So, they re-ground the lenses but these weren't exactly right, either. As further evidence of their patience and good service, they offered to re-examine her eyes and try once again. By that time my wife knew she would soon need cataract surgery so the glasses, even if re-made correctly, would only be useful for a few months. Happily, rather than try to fit her with glasses that wouldn't be very useful, they refunded our money. 20/20 really tried to get them right for my wife. You couldn't ask for better service. He really knows the brands that are sold( material, lens, how it's made , style, etc). I decided to go for my two year eye exam since I thought the frames offered were very stylish and different. The ophthalmologist had the best manner I've ever encountered which made having my eye dilated less torturing. Now, I'm not very decisive and have a petite face . Alex pulled out so many frames with such patience. He was the first person to offer me glasses that fit my face without my eye lashes brushing on the lens (which I thought were normal and no one from my usual eye wear store noted or made such a recommendation ). This was life changing ! I can now blink without my lashes lightly brushing against the lens! He noted the bridge of my nose to help steer me on frames that wouldn't fit correctly on my face. This should not happen but this company refuses to stand behind their product (they manufacture and sell) and would not replace my lenses. I have never had this occur on any glasses and I've owned many, many pairs in my lifetime, it is clearly poor-quality control in the manufacturing. My wife and I have also bought several pairs of glasses from them in the past so not only do they not stand behind inferior manufacture they also do not value loyalty and customer service. I would definitely find other opticians in the future and suggest others do as well.

I only use them to order lenses and frames at this point, it's not been the best experience. I went to pick up glasses twice over the past year, and the office was closed without warning. The office also failed to contact me when my lenses were in and I had to call them to find out that they were. Their website shows them open today, so I made another trip, only to find a sign on the door that reads 'Closed Sat and Sun. They might be understaffed at this point as many places are, but I'm writing this with the hope that they can address these issues. Otherwise, I wont go there again.
