She delivers the sort of old-school customer service that is almost never happens today. I made an appointment to get fitted for new Silhouette frames (they are the only game in town that carries a good selection) and to discuss progressive lenses. Arlene spend over an hour with me explaining the progressive lenses and taking numerous measurements to make sure everything was correct. The new glasses were ready in about a week and she got them fitted perfectly. Bottom line if you're in the market for new glasses or if you're not satisfied with your current optician, give Arlene a call and make an appointment to stop in. When finished, she greeted us and began what was the most thorough explanation/education of lens types, coating types, and selection of proper frames. She easily spent 90 minutes with us, addressing our questions and completing our prescription orders. We are grateful for her expertise and focused attention on our needs. So, they re-ground the lenses but these weren't exactly right, either. As further evidence of their patience and good service, they offered to re-examine her eyes and try once again. By that time my wife knew she would soon need cataract surgery so the glasses, even if re-made correctly, would only be useful for a few months. Happily, rather than try to fit her with glasses that wouldn't be very useful, they refunded our money. 20/20 really tried to get them right for my wife. You couldn't ask for better service.
