The Deluxe Snorkeling Adventure was fantastic! Felicity was helpful, kind, and quick to respond from the very start. Alex and Allie were the best tour guides. They were funny, and informative. They offered to take our photos without being asked, and without trying to sell us anything. They kept us on track without being pushy. The whole crew seemed genuinely happy to guide us throughout the day.
We started at the Wet Set headquarters in Puerto Morelos, then shuttles to the cenote Verde Lucero. We ziplined and/or cliff jumped into the refreshingly chilly water. They had wet suits and snorkel gear ready for us to use the entire trip. After swimming around the cenote, in the cave or just around the safety ropes, we drove back to headquarters for lunch.
Dos Ernesto's is the restaurant we ate at. I had the biggest chicken quesadilla of my life. It was delicious. From the Wet Set headquarters right by the restaurant we grabbed our provided flippers and life jackets then headed to the boat. The boat ride to the reef was just about 15 minutes. Our boat captain was kind enough to hold our sunglasses for us while we snorkeled.
I have been lucky enough to have snorkeled before, but this was by far the best experience. Allie and Alex made us feel very safe. We were a party of 10 so I know we were a lot to manage. But they made is seem so easy. At one point even bringing a couple people back to the boat because they were tired from the day. During the snorkel we saw several barracuda, the most colorful little fish, coral, and schools of fish. I didn't want to leave it was so serene and beautiful.
Once back on the boat they thanked us for spending the day with them, and hoped we enjoyed our adventure.
At our final stop(wet set) Felicity called us a taxi service as I had goofed and told our shuttle the wrong time for pick up. This trip went from about 9-3. All for around $120 a person. I couldn't believe how much we got, for so little. Only thing not included was transportation to and from our hotel the Ocean Coral and Turquesa Resort. Which was only about $40 each way for 10 people. We tipped Wet Set some after our trip but didn't bring enough cash, so we went back the next day and tipped some more. We loved every part of our adventure.
100% recommend going through Wet Set for your snorkeling or scuba trips!
