I ask you folks, if I took this to court would a judge ask for the permit and plan for this wall... and when they have to say they have nothing.... And grandfathered it in because they had no permit or plan... do you think a judge would side with me? Please read below. -------- After my lawn being over fertilized I got the "you must water or be fined" Then I tell them what happened and how I was watering it, the HOA calls the water company and reports me for overwatering (informed by water company) The small gray cinder block wall, they refused my neighbors to fix it because they grandfathered it in and told my neighbors I was at fault for not being able to fix the wall ( this is the non permit wall the HOA friends put up, no permit, no plans, they just stacked cinder block over the gas pipe area.... I asked just to see the permit or plans they made for the cinder block wall... that's when they grandfathered the wall in so no one could change it... not even the home owners... just the HOA, big brother?) What this means is this.... If your friend with the HOA you can blow up your neighbors home and all the homes connected to the gas line... because friends of the HOA do not need a permit... meaning gas folks didn't come out and draw the lines.... So if they would have hit the pipe it's ok, because they had been friends of the HOA..... prove me wrong, post the permit and plans for that cinder block wall (safety is not a priority if your family with the HOA). Then, riding through the neighborhood dead lawns every place.... I hope the 12 homes and lawns I took pictures of get a "you must water lawn now" letters, but they will not. If you tell an HOA and point out it's shameful practices of not having same standards for all they seem to get upset... as children do when you bust them. But, I do think part of their hate for me is I am a veteran, that one I can't prove... but the nasty letters and when I talk with them... it's either they think they are better then veterans or they are just a bunch of "my friends" can do what they want and if you are not our friend you are the enemy. I have never been part of an HOA like this, it's like the KKK... if you don't belong to my tribe we hate you. The IRS has been contacted by me because I feel an audit is needed for this HOA... will the IRS take my report seriously is the question, I just hope one retired veteran is working for the IRS office and sees my complaint.... The mail boxes, the allowance of non permitted walks built, the money trail needs to be followed....i sent pictures and proof... so it's up to the IRS to look. Despite being included the closing sale of my former home, Westwind decided that I should remain responsible for paying the HOA fees attached to a residence I sold. Even after I cancelled the fees, they refuse to refund the fees they have already taken and are continue to illegally charge my checking account for continued HOA fees. News flash: I sold the house. The sale did not include an agreement for me to continue paying the HOA fees. I'm pursuing fraud charges through the bank. read more

As of today, I found out the management changed. My first experience was horrendous. I expect it to get worse. The operator/manager spoke so fast, I could barely understand him. Terrible HOA company. All they do is harass hard working home owners and yet don't do their due diligence. Barely clean up snow, don't trim bushes and usually the when the area has trash it takes them weeks to clean up. I've had trouble le paying my fees and they DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE to assist with a simple thing. They're so hard to get ahold of and so unhelpful. Please do better because it's funny how you all can send letters for stupid complaints but can't even get anything addressed for the client. Thanks for nothing. This is a terrible and very unethical management company. Avoid them at all costs! They threw $10,000 of unjustified charges on us. They even admit that they have no documentation or justification for it, but "We sent you a letter!" as if that proves anything. Fighting it with a lawyer would cost at least $10,000. requested work order of a hornets nest where board on siding completely rotted through. 5 five months ago. the works still not done and the " work order " was sent. it was exterminated , but no rotted wood replaced. on or about 2 weeks ago roofing hacks who did our roofs and chimney stacks incorrectly capped them. rachel swore up and down they were coming december 23,2025. 2 year's after the fact. i feel they owe me the cost of an exterminator evaluation of the chimney as my neighbor had two squirrels in his. i don't know where they found this company, but after all their shoddy work i dont want them installing siding. it will fall off. bring in 3 companies for all unit owners to evaluate and vote on. rachel never should have said they were coming today. we're home, we walked the entire development. it's 12:40 p.m. darkness in 4 hours . she knew they weren't coming and conviently has a " full mailbox" today. westwind management is by far the worst to get into bed with and weve owned 6 other condos. go on my facebook page : john markey, denver, colorado specific pictures and google reviews. once the works down i'll consider removing these. read more

This is the most absent, careless HOA management company out there. No one returns calls, they make major expensive mistakes to communities where they end up "apologizing". They're greedy and take advantage of associations. Highly recommend looking for a more reputable management company. read more

I got a letter from Westwind Management stating we didn't take care of the maintenance on our property they require. Called Rachel our community representative and didn't hear back from her. Sent email to them didn't hear back from them. Went to my portal and come to find out they posted another one of my neighbors property pictures on my account. Called the community representative to address this but she never called me back. Now I will have to take my day off to resolve this issue. read more

This letter is presented on behalf of the residents from the south side of E Prentice Drwe live on the south side of the road which is north facing. The snow takes much longer to melt on our side of the road. When the snow plows clear the road, they only make one pass. When this pass is done it is much closer to the north side of our road which is south facing. This leaves close to 6 to 8 feet of untouched snow on our side of the road and less than a foot on the other side. When there is a large amount of snow such as with this last storm, the non-cleared section of road on this side is too much for the residents on this side to manage. Especially considering that there is no southern exposer. The residents of the Westwind community or held to a high standard of responsibility to sustain the appearance of the community. We should expect nothing less of the standards of the contractors for snow removal that is covered with association fees that we pay. Westwind refuses to repave a 39 year old parking lot with pot holes. Our mail boxes have been vandelized so many times it's beyond fixing. We all have to go to the post office to get regular mail now. Westwind wont pay for better more secured mailboxes. Isn't that illegal ? No snow removal or plow for two days when we got 3 feet of snow a couple months ago. All of us were literally homebound for two days. I have all their excuses in writing, as well as pictures. The worst company ever! They had my car towed even though there was a sign in the back informing that new tags had been purchase, old tags stolen and to call. In the middle of Covid this company allowed for a car to be towed that was not out of registration. They have no regard for the fact that I missed work last night and I missed an interview this morning all of this in the middle of Covid. All of this when even law enforcement isn't stopping for tags because the DVM is backed up! They don't care that I don't have sick time because I had Covid previously. They don't care that I only have 312.00 dollars to my name and I have to 256 and have to figure out have to feed a kid on the rest. I could understand if I had neglected or had done something wrong. I didn't. I can't help people stealing tags. I can't help the DMV being slow to send in new tags. I can't help that I got Covid and I can't help that your property didn't read the sign and didn't care the position he's putting a single mother in. Shame on all of you! Very disappointed how they handled my most recent issue. I have been waiting almost a year for them to fix the lights in our carports. We had homeless sleeping there, crime and with it being so dark I had concerns for our residents safety. They are unresponsive even after numerous emails, work orders and more emails, phone calls etc. For this issue I have to blame Joseph Marcial as he only responded after weeks of emails and gave flimsy excuses not action. I find it astounding that a management company of this caliber provides very little information needed to establish "auto payments". They literally require you to have information, like management company ID# and other things to fill out their forms - yet this info is not published anywhere. In other words, the very instrument designed for convenience requires several phone calls and emails to get basic information for filling out their own forms. He doesn't know that the tow signs have no phone number, doesn't leave warning or notices on vehicles, hired a shady 1 star tow company that charges over legal rates (out of luck towing) and also has no contact info as well as none for the tow truck company. Intead of admitting a mistake might have happened or that they misplace a piece of paper and pay the 300 for my trailer, he said he'll try to fix the phone number issue. In my 27 years being in the service business enabling me to provide for my family of 5, owning 7 properties in our lifetime, NEVER filing bankruptcy and having a credit score of 800+ have I ever been treated as unprofessional as we were by Westwind Management. Lynette Maury Closing Services Administrator, Brook Ramirez Client Care & Vendor Relations and Brian Terhark CEO decided to use their "easy button" turn us over to collections and take us to court because of their incorrect accounting practices and wrong postal address. Their response "we don't have time to find people on the internet". Ludicrous response in 2018 as our personal information is everywhere on line. One phone call could of resolved the error instead of 20 months of wasted time in energy. In the end we gave up as we could not take anymore tome off work trying to mutually resolve the error with their collection company Hindman Sanchez with 4 different contacts due to excessive personnel turn over. I am a Condominium Owner \ Resident at Meadow Hills, Aurora Colorado. The Meadow Hills management company is Westwind Management Group LLC. Problem \ Complaint: 2 + Weeks ago the lock on my Mailbox stop working. I contacted the Westwind Management Group LLC, office in Englewood, CO and I was told that I was responsible for getting a new lock installed on the mailbox, $75.00 Personal Expense. The locksmith, they told me to use, left a note indicating that the mailbox was damaged and it needed to be fixed or replaced. I contacted the Westwind Management Group LLC, office in Englewood, CO and I was told that they would fix the mailbox... The mailbox was never fixed. I made several calls to the Westwind Management Group office, and sent emails with no response. Due to the COVID situation I have to work from home, and depend on my Mail for Bills, Job related documents, etc. USPS is already holding or returning my Mail because my mailbox can no longer be used. I believe I have the Legal right to receive my Mail, and I believe the Westwind Management Group LLC has the Legal Obligation to properly maintain the Meadow Hills Complex, including the Mailbox(s), and help it's tenants with these critical issues instead of ignoring them. read more

I was putting my house on the market and the bushes in my front yard were over 6 feet tall. This was mid-July and no bush trimming had been done on my property. After calling numerous times, I was told that she will put a work order to have it done. About a week later I arrived at 4:30 PM at my complex and noticed workers packing up after having finished trimming the back area of the complex. I spoke with the foreman to see if he had an order to trim the front of my house. He informed me he had no work orders to do it and, he would take a look at it after I told him that I needed trimming because I was going to sell the house. Selling a house, the first impression is essential and trimming bushes should have been done as needed, which is starting in the spring. Received feedback from potential home buyers looking at the house, claiming the odor of the pond was bad, due to management not properly caring for the pond. read more

This is by far the worst management company I have ever had to deal with. They will only respond to you when they want to respond, not when questions are actually needed to be answered. They charge hundreds of dollars for parking passes, then proceed to tow cars that have valid permits. If a zero star review was possible, I would give them that. Once again the Westwind Mgt company is in bed with the outfit that is towing. My tenant that has a valid parking permit has been towed not once but THREE TIMES! And this last one was night before a federal holiday which - guess what- cost him/us an extra $100. The board for our community and the Mgt staff - notably Erin - are less than helpful and do not care of they are discriminating against some tenants. I am going further this time and taking necessary legal action. Honestly would probably not have bought this condo had I know the nightmare the management company causes for tenants. We have lived in our neighborhood for 2.5 years and until recently did not have to communicate with the management group assigned to our HOA. Recently we needed to talk with them about two issues. We are so impressed with Cylinda's above and beyond communication, concern and customer service. Both issues were not only handled but she followed up with us to let us know the outcome. We are on the bottom floor and had to replace our flooring because of water underneath it. Westwind Management told us it was our responsibility, even after we hired water detection companies that said the water was coming from the ground, even after Westwind sued the building company for freaking leaks! Apparently the builders didn't do the flashing right, and water is leaking under some of the buildings, but WE were responsible for our water damage. So thanks Westwind, for suing the builder but still somehow refusing our claim. read more

Westwind Management has been quite unhelpful, almost to the point where I sometimes think they have a strategy of refusing to answer basic questions so as to waste HOA members' time. For three weeks I tried to find out if I had been successful setting up my monthly recurring HOA fees on their highly confusing and primitive website. Normally, I would be confident that after setting up an automatic monthly payment explicitly according to the website's instructions I had been successful, but the Westwind website would often exhibit error messages and would not load, so I wanted to make sure it had processed my recurring monthly fee request. I could not find anywhere on the website where it confirmed that I was now on monthly recurring payments, so I wrote to the Westwind manager and asked if I was. Each reply she gave ignored my question. After about eight emails over three weeks, in which I kept asking, "Does Westwind show that my HOA fees will automatically be drafted each month?" she finally answered in the affirmative. She also made nonsensical comments like, "you were on the personal portal, not Westwind's website." I asked her about eight times what she was referring to, and I also sent her a screen shot of the website I'd been on whcih was clearly Westwind's website, she ignored my question. To simplify things, I asked her to send me the link to the alleged personal portal and told her the only website I'd ever been to that had anything to do with Westwind was their website where I had set up auto-pay. She repeated more nonsense about a personal portal but did not send me a link to this alleged site. She never answered my question. Again, since I asked such a simple question and since she would not answer it, I can only deduce that she was not reading my emails, is illiterate, or was dedicated to making me waste a large amount of time. I advise any HOA that hiring this company would be a huge mistake that would cause all kinds of problems. read more

Absolutely ridiculous! How are these people in business and who are they hiring? No one willing to help. Husband recently moved from Colorado springs, leaving military, overlooked the HOA during the transition. Wanted to pay it and catch up. Called and they told us what was owed and waived fees to help, but didn't mention that we owed more. Recieved mail that a lein was placed. Been talking with HOA several times before, but no mention of this ever. During the meantime, fees were racking up! Too frustrated and didn't want to hire my own attorney, I paid it off to get it done with, attorney said it'll take 7-10 days for HOA system to update. Waited over 10 days, went online to set up auto debit. Still a hold on my account! Called again, was transferred to someone, who of course isn't in and had to leave a voicemail. They Purposely will not help notify individuals of anything that does not benefit them! It takes a 1/3 of the H O A to order an audit it might be costly or it might be saving everybody a lot of money either way it's something that should be done almost yearly! We sold our home over 7 years ago and Westwind Managment group is still sending us their "Courtesy" notifications when for example that house has grass growing or anything green growing between the pavement lines in the driveway. So for all these years they still haven't done the work of looking thru the public records to see who owns what property and they have not given the courtesy to the owner of that property before they fine them, as they are sending the notices to the wrong people. Apparently Westwind is not professional and Isaiah Vigil should stop going on his outings to find these wrong and stay in the office and look within. read more

I'm an owner of a condo in a Westwind Management Group property. I have auto-payment on my condo fees. The fee went up $10 for 2019. Apparently the increase didn't transfer to my auto-payment. Pauline Rivera in Accounting just sent me a letter threatening a lien on my property for not paying the increase. read more

They collect HOA fees monthly but when it comes to providing the services that money is meant to cover...they're very remiss. Currently there is 2+ feet of snow blocking garages and sidewalks more than 36 hours after the snow stopped. Huuuuge potholes plague the complex with no remediation in sight. Last summer they actually charged homeowners for roof repairs even though it is clearly part of external maintenance. And seriously why they cannot employ landscaping company capable of piling snow on the sun side of tight complex instead of the side constantly shaded is just beyond me. read more
