I searched extensively through Yelp and Angi, reaching out to 10-15 companies for tree removal and stump grinding. Some never responded, others replied only once or twice, and several asked for photos and videos but were unwilling to visit my property to assess the scope of work in person. After initially selecting another contractor based on a quote, I informed the other companies that I had made my decision. Chris, however, went above and beyond--he was determined to earn my business and asked if he could stop by at 5:00 PM to provide an in-person estimate and see if he could offer a better proposal. That initiative alone spoke volumes. When Chris arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He provided a more competitive price, but what truly set him apart was his willingness to take the time to come out, evaluate the project firsthand, and demonstrate genuine interest in earning my business. That level of commitment is rare. Once Chris and Francisco began the work, they were efficient, thorough, and extremely careful to protect my existing plants and landscaping. I greatly appreciated the attention to detail and the care they showed throughout the entire process. The project took approximately two and a quarter days, and remarkably, each evening they left my yard cleaner than when they started--no small feat considering the volume of trees and debris involved. One of the main reasons I hired them was because they did have insurance in the case there's any possible damage to a structure and worker's comp, which is something other companies that quoted me didn't have. The person I was texting asked if we were looking for reoccurring service or the one time weed removal when I replied requesting just one time service I didn't hear back. I texted again requesting an estimate, no response. Texted again the next day on Wednesday and they finally requested my information. I sent my info, received an email to sign an estimate agreement and after signing and sending it right back I received no response. I texted back that we would be going with a different service who was able to schedule us in. I'm usually really patient but the lack of communication is what bothered me. They were quick to reach back out after sending initial photos but after I opted for a one time service instead of reoccurring services is when I stopped hearing back so quickly. No shade at all if a business doesn't want to offer their services or prefers bigger projects but I would have appreciated better transparency and communication. I'm sure others have had more positive experiences but for me personally I wouldn't recommend this business. I believe in treating every customer with the same respect and willingness to communicate regardless of project size.
