My partner and I had been searching for weeks in hope to find "the right van" when we came across our ford econoline. Our first major commitment as a couple, as you can imagine we were extremely excited. We had found the van online and called to asked if they were able to hold it for an hour or 2 so we would have time to drive and see it. They agreed. Half way there I get a call stating they actually don't have it in the dealership and it would be about 1-2 weeks before it arrived. We took a leap of faith and went anyways to sign paperwork. The price and mileage of the van was too tempting to pass up. The days passed, I would call in/text asking if they had a set day it would arrive. None was given, finally they said it was out of there control. Hesitant, we tried to understand. The final day of the second week, I called questioning where our van was, again they had no clue. I asked where they were shipping it from, they had no clue, I asked why it was taking so long, they had no clue. They told me give it 3 more days. The next day I got a call saying it was there but we couldn't pick it up till tomorrow because they have to do an inspection/detail the car which was fine. The morning after, We lived 45 away so I called again to clarify there was nothing left to be done but sign some paperwork. I was reassured there wasn't. We get there and asked where it was, the manager Jose said it still had to go through inspection and get detail. Even though that was what we were waiting on the day before AND why I called ahead of time due to both of us having work later that evening. Anyways we shake it off, we were just happy to finally have it. We get through paperwork fairly quickly and all that left to do was wait on the car. 2 hours later they bring it out. It was DIRTY. They failed to clean the inside, there was trash, dust, seats were stained. This whole time that was what they were suppose to be doing. We complained to the manager, I stated "you told me this would be done already, it wasn't which is why we were waiting for so long and it's still not done, I'm not trying to be a b***h but..." and he promptly responded with "yeah you are" and laughed. I was in complete shock, kidding or not. So they took it back AGAIN and had it detailed. Came back and hour later and it still wasn't up to par. At this point we were frustrated and explained we couldn't stay longer to get it cleaned due to work. He reassured I could bring it back anytime and have it detailed again. We part our ways and that was the end of that day. We get a call a couple days after saying some of our paper work was filled out properly. Again we live 45 minutes away so it is a bit inconvenient however we gotta do what we gotta do. We get there and they say they don't have anything for us to sign there that it's our financing guy in the main building. So we go over there and he has ZERO clue what they're talking about. We had nothing to sign. Manager promising to fill up our gas for the inconvenience however doesn't in the midst of the confusion. So again we leave frustrated waisting our time. Our license plates come in, so we head there to have them put on, perfect timing because we logged in that day for the first time to pay our bill and noticed a 2,000 added fee to our original price. We confronted our financing guy and got a break down of everything. Got to the car, upset to find the fee was for cleaning & dealership. Confused we again spoke to the manager, and was told it was to help towards detailing the car and that it was just a fee they require. THEY DIDNT EVEN CLEAN THE CAR. So at that point it was laughable. Being gullible 22 year olds, they flew by the paperwork, told us where to sign and we did so. Not really going into detailed when we did have questions. So we bite the bullet and they sharked us. But then we noticed that the price we saw online, wasn't even the price we signed off for. It was off by a couple hundred. Which isn't a significant amount, however was disturbing because the manager had no explanation for it. Already frustrated about the BS 2000, the unprofessional staff, the lack of knowledge and chaotic atmosphere, we just left. After arguing with the manager giving us no resolution we were at a dead end. Just avoid the hassle of this place. I promise it is not worth it. read more

I had reserved and ordered a 2021 Bronco from Westway Ford months ago. The entire time I was calling and checking in on it asking what all i needed to do, and they always said nothing just wait, no deposit needed. I was naive and went along with it, until i joined some bronco forums and saw people were signing order sheets. Not once was i told i needed a signed order sheet so i started doing research. I finally asked them and they had marked up my PRE ORDERED Bronco from 39k to 56k!!! They called it a market value adjustment, the entire time i was sent build sheets with the price we had originally agreed on! I can understand a 5k or in extreme situations a 10k mark up but this is absurd. Westway is purposefully strong arming and deceiving their preordering customers to abandon their orders so they can keep it and resell for a much higher price...dealerships are shady scum bags but this takes the cake And also now I have to wait for them to mail me my reservation deposit of $100 read more

My experience here was horrible. Jessica Herbert was unhelpful and not professional. It was my fault that my car would be over $800 to fix. What was not my fault was the fact that I called to check to see if my car was done on a Friday. The day they said it would be done. I got no call back on Friday or Saturday. I called again to see if it would be done on Monday since I never heard. I finally got a call back on Monday saying that it was done. Guess what, my car was done on Friday. Jessica said she texted me. When I asked what number it wasn't my number. Why wouldn't you check back in if you heard nothing from me? My 2016 Ford F150 would not start, and I had it towed to Westway Ford. It took them two days to get it in and look at it, and another four days to find the problem and fix it. I picked it up and took it home, and the next day it broke again. I took it back, and it took them a week to get it fixed this time. When I picked it up, there was a large paint chip where the mechanic had been working. I called the service advisor I had been working with and let him know. He told me he would talk to his boss and get back with me, and then went dark. I failed to mention during both times my vehicle was there I called to check on the progress, but no one would answer. I finally had to drive 45 miles just to speak to someone. It has been seven days since I notified them, and still have not received any phone calls, even after repeated messages I have left. read more

Updated 8/29/2020 Well, I'm back reviewing again. Priscilla no longer works there. And I am never going to Westway Ford ever again. I take my truck in for an oil change and let them know that I want to have my brakes checked bc i has been told before that they were getting close to needing replaced a few months back. I get told that my lug nuts are swollen on and it is going to cost me 383$ for lug nuts and labor to get them off. Oh on top of 600$+ for my brakes and my rotors now need replaced....ummmm what? So I decline everything at this point bc I'm so irritated with the lug but situation. And let's add on there that the lady that helped me told me originally it was going to be like 3$ a lug nut for 20 lug nuts but somehow it came out to be 9$ per lug nut plus labor..... And when I told her no, she then tells me I can go buy some from Auto Zone for cheaper and bring them in to save a little money. Let me tell you what I found. 38$ total for a set of 20 on amazon and they are the exact ones I have now. Went to discount tire bc I had bought my tires with the extra warranty there and they replaced the lug nuts with the ones I bought and did my tire rotation FOR FREE. 400$ vs free? Can you mention rip off and scam???? So to be honest I can probably guess that this dealership lost an amazing employee like Priscilla bc of shady practices like this. But wait there is more!!!! I got their entire system flush package back in early 2019. I was also told I needed to do a flush, just 20k miles later. Ummmm what? I told the lady I had just done that. She went and checked her records and she came back and said they have no record of it... How is that possible? I spent over 500$ on it? Nope I must be mistaken. Needless to say I didn't get it again bc I remember doing it. A few days later, I get a "courtesy car fax" report from Westway Ford. THE FLUSH PACKAGE I DID WAS ON THE CAR FAX. So you couldn't find it in your system but yet it's literally in the car fax you sent me. Livid. So I will not be returning to Westway ford EVER. And if you choose to go, please make sure you go with your eyes wide open bc they will try to have you overpay in every way possible. Initial Post from 2019: This is a delayed posting as I am about due for my next oil change and I just had to post about my last interaction at Westway Ford. Ms. Priscilla was beyond amazing. She went above and beyond for me as I had a broken oil plate bracket and she didn't have the part at the time so she got the mechanics to take it off, put it in the bed of the truck and then just a few days later scheduled me to come back in and get everything fixed up. Now my work hours are crazy so I had to come in super early before work to get it done, and it was before Priscilla got in. However, she called me before and told me she had filled in her coworker (I can't remember his name, I'm so sorry!) with everything and all the paperwork and tickets would be ready to go for me since she wouldn't be in yet. Everything was just as she had described to me and she also then gave me a follow up call at work later to confirm everything was good! She was by far the best car dealership employee I have ever dealt with in my life! Purchase here at your own risk - We bought a pre-owned vehicle here and what seemed like a great experience up front has quickly turned into the staff shooing us away. They sold us a car before they completed its inspection and when they got our cash the customer service stopped there. They completed said inspection and have since refused to help with the burnt out brake light, bald back tires and worn out brakes. The car was said to pass inspection but those all seem like safety issues to me. I have not received any in-depth detail of the inspection other than the car passed and they check "mechanical and seatbelt" type things. Thanks, Westway Ford! I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport from here about 2 weeks ago. The buying process was fairly easy, my salesman, Luis, was very kind and tended to our needs, 10/10. The only negative I would say about this dealership is how badly they lowballed my trade in. I was looking to trade in my 2012 Mazda3, and a few days prior I took it to carmax to get an appraisal and they offered me 7k. I took the same car to Westway, same condition just had about 100 miles more, and they offered me $3k. Just from that, I almost got up and left lol. I would not suggest bringing in a trade in if you are wanting a decent value. But the negotiation process was somewhat decent, with some back and forth I got the price down about $1k on a car that was set at $19xxx. I was there for a few hours doing paperwork and stuff. Overall I'd say a 9/10 experience, with a 10/10 being that they didn't lowball they piss out of my trade in. I would recommend. I bought a 2022 F150 from Westway and upon leaving with the truck, the salesman handed me one key fob. I asked where the other key was and he said we only got one key from the previous owner, so you only get one key fob. I said this is unacceptable and I deserve to get two keys. This is a certified pre-owned vehicle. The salesman said he would run it by management and get back to me in a couple of days. He never did. So I went back to the dealership and asked once again for the second key. The salesman went back to talk to the sales manager and after several minutes, he came back and said they would split the cost of another key. I said that was unacceptable and asked to talk directly to the sales manager. The salesman went back again to the sales manager's office and after several more minutes, a man by the name of Ray came out. I could see the expression on his face he wasn't going to be cooperative. I held up two fingers as he was approaching indicating I want two keys. Up to this point, I was very pleasant but firm with my request for the additional key. At this point, Ray became unhinged and started yelling at me that no one was going to treat him that way. I tried to appeal to him that all I'm asking for is what anyone would expect, two keys, but he continued to yell at me as if I was dirt under his feet. I've never felt so belittled in my entire life. All this occurred in the main lobby in front of customers and other sales personnel who appeared aghast that he would scream at a customer who had just spent a lot of money with Westway. I'll never go back to Westway again and I can only say that I felt like they went overboard to see how little they could do to make me a happy customer. I've bought a lot of vehicles over the years, and I cannot ever remember being screamed at by a sales manager just for asking for a spare key to the vehicle I just bought. I purchased my first vehicle from Westway Ford in June 2021. The truck came with 2200 miles on it. When I asked about the mileage, I was told by my finance person that for each new part they added to the truck, they have to drive it 200 miles to reset some of the functions. The first time I washed and vacuumed the truck, I found beer bottle caps from under one of the seats and other trash and what appeared to be mud-type markings around the windows that I've been trying to rub out. When I lifted the hood to add some wiper fluid, there is mud all inside the hood and engine. Based off of these things, I think this was a loaner truck or a runner truck that I was deceived into purchasing as "new". Additionally, I have discovered that the truck runs approx. 5 mph faster than the speedometer shows. When I took the truck in to have it recalibrated, I was told I would likely need to pay for a part to have the speedometer recalibrated, though it was due to the new tires the dealership placed on the truck prior to the sale, and the dealership should have calibrated the truck, as instructed by the automaker, and now they are going to attempt to pass that cost onto the buyer, a month after the purchase. So took my vehicle in for a transmission problem and it is still under warranty on March 8th. Jacob was my point of contact , waist of my time. After calling an texting he finally got back with me on March 15 with news that they were backed up 10 weeks because of Covid!! I was like Covid was 3 years ago, so after calling him and no response i just decided to call someone else cause this guy was useless. On May 16 he sends me a text saying its on line for the transmission to be replaced, i told his slow ass i already know!! On May 26 i called and he finally answered, my first question was does it take 2 weeks to replace a transmission? On June 7th he called said it was ready but needed a battery because it wouldnt hold charge and i had to pay for it. After 3 months of them having it and not turning it on of course that would happen. I own my own distribution company and if i would run my business the way they do i wouldnt stay open very long. Don't believe anything you read on their website: pricing, financing incentives, and vehicle condition are all bait-and-switch tactics. We looked at a "new" Expedition with lots of interior damage and dents/dings on the exterior that went all the way down to bare metal. My 4 year old truck is in significantly better condition than their "new" vehicle. None of the vehicles we viewed had even been cleaned. The carpet was full of dead grass. Maybe they thought the dirt would hide the scuffs and damage? Don't waste your time by being lured-in by their false advertising. read more

I went in to look at a new bronco as advertised is almost 29k they came back with almost 5k over the internet sales price on the bronco when paperwork started. Also I was trading in a 2020 tuscon sport they offered me a trade in value of a base in horrible condition not even close to what my other offers had been. I then got the most disrespectful sales man that when I refused the prices he told me I just wasted and he of his time. It took me a hr to drive there and a hr of my time. I stopped by today to look at a used vehicle, where I had an appointment with a salesman. Prior to making it to the lobby I was attacked by two sales folks that were stocking folks in the parking lot. I had a meeting set up and by the time my sales guy arrived, two more salesmen approached me to help. This place has a receptionist busy doing whatever, but she never looked up at me to ask if I was being helped, since I guess she saw all of the salesmen on me so she figured I was taken care of. In the meantime a sales boss came by and wanted some information from me. As a manager, she was extremely soft spoken and I had to ask several times what she was saying. I couldn't hear what she was saying and couldn't believe she was a manager. Anyway, I left before the car was pulled around for me to look over since she had no idea what was going on. Original Post: I was very excited to purchase a new car from this dealer back in February for my wife until this dealership did me wrong, and I still can get the money I'm owed or hear from the person I need too about the $447 check I'm owed from my redeemed points from Ford Pass Points. For starters my sales person was Austin Deras, but he failed to bring me the paperwork promised by the dealership to pay me for my points towards a purchase. The negotiation was fine, but when I asked to redeem my Ford Points, Austin andi his bosses didn't know how. That was suppose to be my down payment for the car, and when none of them knew what to do, I personally had to call Ford Pass, and had a rep with then talk Austin through the process to redeem my points for a purchase. After that, when it came down to signing for the car, Austin told me that they would have to wait for about two weeks to get the redeemed points to show up, then they would write me a check for the balanced owed. I stressed as long as they gave me a paper that stated from his boss that they would. When I left, they failed to include that paperwork and then Austin had to come to my house to have my wife sign the paperwork and yet again I reminded him to bring me that paper, as yet again he failed to produce it when he came to my house but he claimed I'd get it 2 weeks later. Then in two weeks I called the dealer, I spoke with a girl named Mrs Martinez who then told me that Ford Pass owed me the check and that they didn't owe me one, and then I knew this dealership was the worst mistake I made In buying a car. Now it's the middle of May, no check, I've been back and fourth with Ford Pass and the dealership and as Ford Pass told me when they spoke with Austin's boss, they do owe me a check and that the guy would reach out to me and get this solved. Nothing was solved, I still am owed a check, and I will be giving this dealership all the unwanted advertisement that I can. My husband took a train home from Oklahoma and when he arrived to sign the paperwork all of a sudden the price went up overnight in the exact amount we were going to put down on the vehicle we were going to purchase! After that we were shown a vehicle that was dirty and overpriced. It was used, high mileage and we were told this was the best they could do. We let them know we were open to new OR used. They didn't even ask for a drivers license before the test drive. That same day we went to Bob Tomes in McKinney and they got us into a 2020 Ford Fusion with 9 miles on it. (Bait and Switch) Buyers beware. By far the most disrespectful, unprofessional , rude people I have ever dealt with in my entire life . On December 09, 2016 I performed a search on my iPhone app called cars.com looking for a particular vehicle. I searched for a Mazdaspeed. I submitted a inquiry and was contacted right away by a salesman from WestWay Fords used car lot. We spoke on the phone and I asked several questions he could not answer basic information I might add. I then inquired if the vehicle was ready to be showed to a customer since he did mention they had just got it in. The salesman by the name of Erick said yes I even have it pulled up ready. He then proceeded to ask me If i could come in on this day. Which I agreed. Time was set for 6 pm. I explained I would have to leave work early and have to make it on the weekend since I don't work weekends at my company but did this in good faith wanting to purchase this car. 6 o'clock came around and we arrived at the dealership around 6:15 ish. Upon arrival I see the vehicle is parked by the side of the building ready for show. I walked In and asked for Erick and learned by one of his colleagues that he had gone home for the day due to an emergency and did not explain this to us. How ever the salesman seemed nice and I accepted his willingness to try and help us. So he showed us the car and we took it for a nice little test drive and seemed okay . So I had previously filed out a credit application online just to have the financing process go by smooth. After the salesman sent my information over to their finance guy I learned that I was approved with 500 down. After further review I noticed the car was not priced accordingly to what me and Erick had agreed over the phone. They had marked up the car to 8900.00 . Which was not the case . Once I quickly pointed this out the salesman he then said I was incorrect and so did the finance manager. After hearing his excuse I showed them both the add for the car being advertised as 6987.00 and they proceeded to tell me they have to run their car by their "inspection" they explained that west way ford spend about 1500-2000 on a car before they can sell it. Having the mechanical and technical background I have and not to mention I have worked as a service advisor and a technician before at local dealerships to know there is absolutely nothing they can do in their "inspection" that would cost that much. To be completely honest this is a marketing Gimmick and a type of tactic they use on customer in an effort to seem like the vehicle is serviced properly . If you look around to any other dealership in this area you will find all of their competitors do this "121" point inspection if not a much higher inspection on their cars for free and do not apply this silly tactic to their cars sticker price in an effort to try and make more money if the car . After pointing this out to the manager there Colt he then admitted there is no real maintenance done , they just check the car to make sure it's sell able. What he means by this is we need to make sure the car runs and drives , if repairs are needed we will send the car off to auction and make our money back that way since the vehicle will not meet the high price tag we will ask guidelines to the educated buyer. I spent a total of 3 and a half hours dealing with them. Once we came to an agreement of 7500 that I agreed to buy the car for they then refused to let me purchase the car . They began doing the take it or leave it tactic by trying to add packages to the sale in an effort to try and make more money off the sale . Colt did take of some money from the cars updated tag. However he added a 2000.00 service contract that I specifically stated I did not need, he then added gap insurance 800.00 increasing further the total amount financed . Which was not agreed upon. He then stated he could not sell the car without that. Please keep in mind he did not have this condition the first time we went to do paper work. All of a sudden the car is cheaper and now is a requirement? Really shady if you ask me. While this is happening another customer walks in asking about the same car. Keep in mind we are dealing already we have meet each other with a price and a deal and was waiting for paper work. Colt then stoped working with me and so did the salesman and they proceeded to stall and stand around while the new guest test drive the car and started to fill out a credit application. I then requested to speak with colt again but was told he was simply busy and could not talk to me. Reason being was obvious he wanted to sell to the other people since they agreed on their updated price. At this point I feel I was discriminated against and lied to. The salesman and Colt both showed malicious intent and ran my credit several times they refused to continue with the deal. Please see this as a warning and stay away. Crocks and liars. Paris Mash used to be someone that I called friend and trusted like family but he's turned out to be like all of the other crooks. This dealership has gone downhill. It used to be the BEST but not anymore. STEER CLEAR! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. I am so sad that I no longer have faith in these people. Took my 2017 Ford Edge into the Service Dept for 10,000-15,000 mile maintenance. Specifically asked them to 1) check for leak in left rear tire and 2) check for software updates. When picking up the car and paying the over $400 price tag, there as no notes regarding tires (there were also rotated as part of maintenance) or software. I found my advisor and asked if they checked. She said she was told software was up to date and the reason I'd had to air my tire every week was weather related. I'm still having to air the ONE tire regularly, but now it's on the front left. Pretty sure it 1) should have been rotated to front right and 2) REAL sure the tire was not checked. Poor service. That's a shame because I only live a mile away. I'll continue to bring all my business (and vehicle purchases) to Sam Pack's Five Star in Carrollton. Excellent service there! My wife and I, after doing extensive research and speaking with several Ford dealerships in the area, decided to visit Westway Ford on October 19 to purchase a new 2016 Ford Edge Titanium that we found on Cars.com. During our car buying experience, we had been, at best, misinformed and, at worse, intentionally deceived or lied to. Once at the dealership, the price increased initially $1100 which we successfully negotiated down to $700 over the internet price; this is a classic "bait and switch" scheme. If a price is advertised online, that should be the price a buyer pays when they arrive at the dealership. Also, the vehicle mileage advertised online was only 5 miles however once at the dealership the mileage was determined to actually be 2,717. None of this was disclosed to us by our salesperson, Brendan, until we were signing paperwork to purchase the vehicle. When we asked for the vehicle's history, we were given conflicting answers by the Finance Manager, Jeff. We were first told the vehicle was bought and/or driven by some gentleman's wife who returned it to get a newer model. Then we were told that the vehicle was actually a loaner that the Service department would give out. We brought up our concerns regarding these discrepancies and rather than work with us to find a compromise or agreeable solution, we were told to leave the dealership by the Sales Manager, Todd, because Westway Ford would not sell us a vehicle if there was a chance we might not give an absolutely perfect review on the post-purchase satisfaction survey. We were appalled and speechless especially since we've never had this kind of experience in all the years we've been buying new cars including just one month ago when I purchased a new 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat from another Ford dealership in the area. In fact, I've never given anything but a perfect review of a vehicle buying experience because until now, I've never had anything but a perfect vehicle buying experience. Fortunately, I was able to find the exact same Ford Edge Titanium from another Ford dealership that was actually new (versus a rental or loaner vehicle) for the same price. I will never go back to Westway Ford and I encourage anyone else looking to buy a Ford to do the same. read more

We decided it was time to purchase a truck. We were shown one that we liked. We started the process, the monthly payments were not on our budget. After telling the sales person we couldn't afford it, they kept insisting to "lower" the price if we signed on it. We HAD to wait for the manager to speak to us. She literally said "If you want to see trucks, I'll show you trucks". The truck had a part damaged that couldn't be fixed.. Long story short, the manager tried having us sign the papers BEFORE we found out about the truck not being able to be fixed. And they were offering us 4% interest rate and NEVER ran our credit. They were trying to sell a truck at "$700/month" when in reality it was $890 a month. The whole process was a lie! Please MAKE SURE if they are offering you a percentage rate that it ran indeed through your credit and bank! read more
