I also asked him to help fix an outdoor faucet which he said he fixed but when he left I tried turning it on and it was still broken. I would not hire him again.

They did so and charged us $625. $200 more than our regular plumber. And no senior discount. On Saturday, the drains started popping and gurgling again. When I called on Sunday, I was told that they would call me back on Monday morning and the work should be warranted. I ended up calling them on Monday because I didn't hear back from them. I was told they did not warrant their sewer work and they would charge us another $425! A company that doesn't stand behind their work is not trustworthy. We are senior citizens and need our water! We cannot flush the toilets without severe gurgling in the drains. We can't shower without the toilets gurgling. We have to call another plumber because I will not give these people any more money, especially if they won't warranty their work!

Was told by the representative that answered the phone I would receive a quote by email. For once the quote actually came and was not $3k. We were so satisfied with his work and his service that we hired him to fix a gas leak in our fireplace, too. He did, and now we have a working fireplace again, too! Thanks Anthony! Anthony was meticulous but not slow in getting the job done right, kept communication open and honest, and waited patiently at my house while I finished pricing other options. He explained that a hardware store water heater is of cheaper quality than the "professional" model he would install. He also correctly guessed that a competitive quote had come in lower because they did not factor in permitting the work, which he felt was important, and I agreed. He did look for multiple ways to save us some money, including combining visits, not charging for the initial investigation of our gas leak, discounting a subsequent job; he even researched the design lifetime of my new water heater and recommended against getting an extended warrantee in my case since the heater was built to last at least that long if not longer. Ultimately, the company we contacted came out, located the blockage and charged us $375. This Roto-Rooter is either entirely incompetent or a scam.
