Eagle Eye originally said they would respond within 90 to 105 minutes. To make a long story short, after 2.5 hours they did not show up. The contact information Eagle Eye sent me via text to track my tow was forwarded to another phone number and the mailbox was full so there was no way to contact them for an updated ETA. I-Tow claims states that they are impound specialists (but also do unlocks, boosts, tire changes,…read moreand break down tows). In my experience this is the only honest thing about the company. What they specialize in is towing vehicles from unmarked "private" lots. My vehicle was parked in such a location. The area was between two businesses and there was not a sign to be seen anywhere indicating it was a no parking or "customer only" area. When asked about the lack of signage the tow truck operator stated "Someone must of took it down. It was there yesterday". A simple Google search shows that this is false. But of course it is, that's how they trap you. The staff at the business (Money Mart) that space is apparently apart of (again no indications of this whatsoever) stated that I-Tow drives by regularly looking for people parked there. Due to lack of municipal Regulations around these types of lots in Saanich, this outfit has been able to pull this type of entrapment scam for who only knows how long. Since my ordeal with I-Tow I have heard other reports of the same or similar entrapment scams. Hopefully you don't have the unfortunate luck of this scam. The only other advice I can give is to avoid this outfit at all costs!

The man prevented me from leaving, swore at me and bullied me into paying a "drop fee" of $53.80 when he hadn't even attached my car to the tow truck! I phoned them after I had a chance to calm down and think about what had just happened only to be offered half of my money back and then yelled at, verbally abused and then hung up on! I'm not the first he has done this to and I WILL be pressing charges as I was advised by the tow truck company that does have the contract for that lot!!
