As of now...im finding it an extremely long wait for my debit card.
I arranged to have this item couriered to this branch last week (for a fee of course), with me pop in to pickup and sign it.
I have personally visited the branch since the confirmation that the item is on its way (by Courier) only to be told that it was not in yet...
The staff member who served me on the day of my visit appeared puzzled that the card was still not on site given that enough time had passed for delivery (she kindly agreed to waive the Courier fee, yep! brilliant no prob, cheers).
Update: Another day has gone by without any contact from the branch.
Hmmm..hope the Courier guy hasn't misplaced or forgotten to deliver to the branch. Hope the branch contacts the Courier company to check what's happened. Hope they get back to me soon to just check in and give me a 'sitrep'. Hope i get a call about er...hope hope, hopety hope...
This would not be too much of an issue usually however the reason it is an issue is - i have online purchases backed up some days now.
P.S. Cards are issued in Auckland, I live in Auckland, plus i've paid a personal visit already, i shall now consider this wait - 'an extremely long wait'.
