Service is wonderful with very helpful wait staff. And the food is exceptional. The shrimp burritos are wonderfully prepared as were the chicken tacos and chicken burrito. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and today's mojito special was watermelon. Wonderful little restraint that is locally & woman owned. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.

Guac! We opted for the "spicy" version which was very good. Nice chips too!

Back again tonight and it was fabulous!! The Cadillac margarita was one of the best he's had (says my husband). We got six different tacos -- seafood, pork and beef -- ans everything was just awesome! We got them all crunchy (corn)-- which is delicious but a little messy. We asked for separate little plates to catch the overflow, which worked out great. The seasoning and garnishes chosen for each taco type are spot on! And even in the depths of winter -- all the veg was super fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outstanding neighborhood spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you're in the mood for a really good brunch, this is the perfect place to go to. The breakfast bowl is really good and flavorful. I love the Carne Asada. The tacos are also really good. I enjoyed the Paloma and the mango margarita. This ceviche was my absolute favorite. Customer service was good and parking was available around the building.

Best fish taco I have ever eaten. EVER. Can't believe I've lived in Arlington for years and never stopped by. On Washington it is a small door, so I did not even know it was there. Getting two tacos was a super fast experience (as it should be) with a really nice man at the counter. The clasico was very good, the fish was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have low top and high top tables and a bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I parked on Washington but they have another entrance, not sure how to get to it but it exists. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was all families when I dropped in, so I think it's a great place to bring a family and the kids.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is Lent, and I will be back soon for more fish tacos.

Another trip here and another amazing experience. Westover is a cute neighborhood with a nice community. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is super casual and has such a friendly vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Come in, order through the QR codes, and sit either along the bar or at the high tables next to the windows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Smaller table seating for families too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food comes out fast and is great quality. Love the margaritas as well!

Tacos: pollo tinga, carne asada, carnitas, camaron

Much excitement in the Westover neighborhood ensued with the grand opening of a new taqueria right next to Walgreen's. The ambiance in the cozy space once occupied by a dive bar has been transformed into a sleek, modern eatery and bar. The unfinished brick wall with light wooden furniture lends an airy atmosphere to the dining area. The menu features traditional Mexican street-style tacos. The single corn tortillas hold a good proportion of meat and vegetables, though the option to add more cilantro and chopped onions as well as a squeeze of lime plus different salsa options would have been a welcome and authentic addition. The pollo tinga (seasoned chicken breast) was very well seasoned; the carnitas was soft and juicy; the camaron (shrimp) was just a little too much mayo; and the carne asada was smoky and savory. The hours will make this a great hangout place for the neighborhood, though it does not quite give La Chiquita Tacos y Tortas in Columbia Pike a run for its money in terms of authenticity and the curated street food menu. Nevertheless, for the Westover and north Arlington community, this is a worthy addition to the Mexican eateries in the area. Friendly and talkative servers seem to have things under control even after less than a week after the grand opening.

The food is authentic and flavorful! Best corn tortillas I've ever had, made from scratch daily by a Honduran woman. Best pinto beans also! You can taste that they've been made with pork. So much flavor! Rice is also super flavorful! Chips are really good. Clearly freshly made!

The staff is what really seals it. Friendly every time, they make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. And the range is what makes it special. Unfortunately my burger wasn't seasoned at all but everything else was good. Unfortunately this is where things turn. We all received our food except one person in our group. His food didn't arrive until after we received our checks. He didn't wasn't to eat while we waited and have everyone uncomfortably watch, so he asked the hostess to box the meal up. Someone asked why he had to pay full price plus service charge for something he received extremely late, and the response was that he got his water for free. We asked to speak to the manager and sadly he was too busy to address the issue. Not sure if this just a common practice up north but we didn't like the treatment of our coworker. We decided we would try another recommended spot, hopefully with better service.

While a scramble sounds simple on paper, it is easy to overcook the vegetables. This one was executed perfectly, with every vegetable done just right. The thin-sliced potatoes were highly seasoned and stood out, moving away from the standard, heavy breakfast spuds you get at most places. The presentation across the board was excellent. The latte arrived with a nice touch--a small side cookie and a club soda to cleanse the palate, which shows a level of intentionality you don't always find. We were told we could sit at the bar or outside, but when we asked for one of the open tables, we were denied because they were "reserved for parties of three." That just doesn't make sense. We're still paying customers, ready to order food and drinks. Denying service like that--especially with empty tables in plain sight--feels unnecessary and rigid. I even asked twice, hoping for a little flexibility, but the answer didn't change. I work in the service industry, and this is exactly the kind of situation where you make an exception or use some common sense. Instead, it felt like policy over hospitality. Really disappointing experience for a place I was excited to try.
