That said, we came from North Jersey for a weekend in Center City Philadelphia. Hotel parking was $42/night, so we opted to use the PTC as a park and ride. Ample FREE parking here with security cameras, and elevators with raised platforms at trains for easy access with bags. We timed our arrival here with the ACL train to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, which is only a one stop, twenty minute train ride. On the Saturday of that weekend, we left our hotel to come back here but had to plan our journey back around the sporadic ACL train schedule. Once here, we dropped bags off in the car, and walked right back to the station to board the RiverLine which is the light rail which runs through here enroute to Camden from Trenton. That night there was a concert on the Camden Waterfront and it was the way to go. So my point is, if you're seeing a show in Camden or spending a night in Philly, check this place out but also check those schedules!

I took the Riverline from Trenton to here to make the connection to NJT train, instead of connecting in Philly. It was slightly more convenient but not very. I had about 4 min to make my connection, so thankfully they had signs posted, pointing me in the direction of the platform. I ran right past the ticket machines, assuming there would be 1 on the platform. There was not. There was no time to go back down the 2 flights of stairs to get a ticket, so I boarded without. Please make sure you buy your tickets before going up to the platform, there is a $5 surcharge for tickets purchased on board. That's damn near double my ticket! I didn't get to explore much but what I could make out (while making a mad-dash), was pretty nice. Let's see how long that lasts!

We have a landscaped rock garden at our corner that that bus has to negotiate to make a right-hand turn. That bus drives far enough into our property that it hits some of the small boulders that get dislodged enough to get dragged into the street, let alone violently bouncing the students in their seats! Like I said, we have the video proof. This company doesn't seem to want to return any of my calls, let alone someone to talk to live, only recordings. It does the job is what I can say about this "transportation center." One star taken away for the dirty conditions that could easily be solved with maintenance/cleaning. That being said, you've got access to PATCO to get to center city Philly in a matter of minutes. Looking for the Riverline to head north to Trenton (where connections to Amtrak and the NJ Transit NYC-bound NE corridor train are found)? Then you must head across the street to the "broadway" station. The riverline platform is street level and easy to find. Cops are EVERYWHERE. At least they were at 3 pm on a Monday (can't speak to night time). I even heard a local lament their presence, implying it precluded a business transaction from taking place. Your nose may encounter the typical smells of human life here. Again, it gets the job done. Don't be a snob, use common sense. and you'll get where you need to go.
