I have held back from leaving a review for many years, but as I continue to work and spend…read morethousands on rectifying the work done, I feel responsible to do this. Eight years after walking into this office, I can look back and be certain that walking in was one if not the worst decision of my life. Teeth are precious and not only tools for chewing--they're part of an interconnected system involving digestion, posture, emotions, energy, and overall vitality. This practice doesn't focus on any of that but surely has a strong focus to sell. I worked with 3 different dentist's here; I was young and said yes to everything: frequent cleanings and all the upsell that comes with that, many fillings, crowns, 3 root canals, and even more! I thought I was being responsible. One of the main things to highlight is, absolutely ALL of the crowns were left with a margin. I learned over the years by asking questions that same day crowns are typically found in chain practices where the doctor is not the one molding and the staff is not always well equipped. This was absolutely true. I can think of a time where I removed the molding for the assistant myself(of course I did it wrong). I visited another dentist during that time who did a 3D scan. That doctor warned me of the margin on a particular tooth. I went back to this practice and Dr. Lising minded. She insisted that the crown was fine. That was on a root canal so I didn't feel discomfort, yet the crown fell off on a random day. Sadly it was too late-there was significant decay underneath and the tooth had to be shaved down significantly. Dr. Lising was not pleasant to work with during this time. As I read on many other recent reviews, I also experienced the arrogance. She laughed at my hesitation to "fix" the issue. I agreed to placing a dental post to then place a new crown. Sadly, the post caused the tooth to break and led to an infection that showed while pregnant. I had to have an extraction while pregnant and an implant months later. This costed me several thousands. On a different occasion, I complained of sensitivity on a particular tooth and was told that I needed a root canal. With what I know now, I can say that it was called too early. All I did was say that it was sensitive, that's it. Root canals are bad news and I just extracted a second one. The recovery was brutal. I have one to more to go. Another experience was an onlay that fell off 4 times before it never moved again- I don't know how that was accomplished. If I could go back, I would want my young self to read this review and be intrigued to read on functional/biological dentistry. You will find a doctor who will cost you a bit more per visit but a whole lot less over time, a Dr. that will care to save your teeth. I do not have any pleasure in leaving this review, in fact it is hard but I feel a strong need to. I have spent thousands of dollars over the last 4 years to redo all the work that I have paid for in the past! It is painful in every way and I don't wish it on anyone. If you are looking for a dentist, please be kind to yourself and look for a Dr that will care for you from a functional perspective and educate you while saving your teeth.

I picked this office after deciding after 10+ years to get a cosmetic crown over a root canal I had done. The original mould taken of my teeth before my tooth was shaved down was taken while I still had glue on the back of my teeth from a permanent retainer I had to get removed prior to the procedure, and I believe this resulted in many issues with my crowns in the future, although this was never confirmed when I mentioned it. I ended up having the crown remade, getting the first one shaved off my tooth since the color was dark in certain lighting. When my first crown was taken off, a bit of my tooth next to it was shaved off too, one of the ladies said it might have been the shape of my new tooth while I was there, but after comparing pictures, my tooth was definitely nicked. Unfortunately, all of my worry about the color was small, as the feeling of the back of the crowns felt awful. Ultimately, after over an hour of shaving the final crown down, it is a shape I feel like I can live with for the rest of my life without bothering me. The color is a bit off, even after going in person to the tooth color lab. It is not worth it to me to have more damage to my other tooth, risk feeling a tooth that does not belong in my mouth again, or not being able to bite with my front teeth for another 3 months to have one remade. Overall, it is better than when I came in, but I am not sure I would go through the process again if I was sent back in time. I am really glad they were willing to remake the crown without hesitation, I am not sure if the errors are human, the specific lab, or the technology is not quite there yet. Mostly just posting if there is anyone else debating and looking for a singular dark front tooth case.

See, this has happened to me in the past where a dentist retires and the doctor who takes over the practice is completely night and day from what I am familiar with. My initial reaction was fear but Dr. McNabb did a diligent job of selecting his replacement. I appreciated the transition period where I got to see both dentists practice together. These little things help to make patients, like myself, feel at ease. I found Dr. Walding to be personable and patient. It's hard to find a dentist who will truly listen. As patients, we don't know all the dental terminologies so it is nice to have someone sit through an appointment and listen to our concerns. My husband saw Dr. Walding the day after me. He said that Dr. Walding performed and excellent cleaning on him. My husband is extremely sensitive and squeamish. This is the ultimate compliment. Recently, I took my son to his Pediatric Dentist Dr. Natalie Harrison. I can't remember exactly how it came up but we were talking about Dr. McNabb's retirement and how we recently saw the dentist that took over the practice. Based solely on that representation, I agreed to schedule the checkup. After the visit, I received a bill from Dr. Lee that insurance did not cover part of the service, allegedly because that portion is only covered once per year and I had already used it. Do not trust them when they say they checked with your insurance. Had I been correctly informed of this at the time of scheduling, I would not have agreed to the appointment.
