This was my first visit, and the last! I came here because my old dentist went out of network and I needed fillings done. When they were doing my cleaning the dentist did the "cold test" which was put, very cold, pressurized air on my molars. This of course sent pain all over my body. The dentist told me I needed 2 root canals. My thought's were "if I need it, I guess I need it ". They send in the financial person and she's telling me the price, I tell her I'll do one for now. I thought they were going to schedule me in to come back and do the procedure. They wanted to do it same day without telling me, they were just going to start working on it! Then when I said I couldn't do it that day because I have plans the dentist tried to guilt me into doing it that day!!! Awesome experience!! Annabel is a very good and friendly hygienist. Decorating and comfort of the dentist chair is fantastic! I would love to get my house decorated like the lobby very cool!! Dentist was very knowledgeable and showed me the two cavities I have on the X-ray so I know exactly what needs to be done. Also, you will never miss an appointment they have very thorough reminder system. This is a follow-up to my first review above. Had three cavities filled today. I was first greeted by two friendly desk ladies Jessica and Jamey. Next I went back and had my cavities filled by Dr. Ibrahim. He was great and explained everything he was doing and took a lot of time to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. He was assisted by Jessica Acosta and she was super nice and was very professional. I was even greated again by Annabel while I was waiting for my gums to numb before my procedure. Not the best place to get your teeth cleaned. Although office was nicely decorated it felt like a government dental clinic of some kind. I showed up 10 minutes early and waited for more than 40 minutes. I almost had to walk out to make a scheduled meeting. The teath cleaning itself was rather rough and unpleasant, seemed rushed. Recomend another dentist. I will not be going back. Another (very) weird thing is that the previous patients xrays and exam notes were on the TV display for like 5 minutes when I entered the exam room. I kind of felt weird looking at another patients records. There was another chart that came up on the screen with other patients information from their scheduling system including their patients names, numbers, payment and insurance info. This dentistry has excessive waits (2+ hours for a cleaning), up-charges everything ("you have no build up, but need a special cleaning"), and not responsive to either phone or email messages after contacting them several times (give them a credit card and they swipe it quickly). Stopped coming to this dentist after there was so many problems. First, they didn't notify me of the cancellation until the day of when I had already requested the day off from work. Huge waste of time. Second, I wanted my daughter to get braces. Initially that's what the canceled appointment was for. But according to them the Dr doesn't consult them anymore. They go based off their xrays. So I was even more upset to hear that. They said they would call me back to schedule the appointment and I never received a call. Waited 3 weeks. Terrible experience by both the staff working there and the dentist Dr Grover. Due to several issues, I HAD to leave the office in the middle of my visit. The focus on the office is: SALES and not the patient best interest AND their COVID protection practices can definitely be improved. If you value your time and want good care, please don't go to Pearl Dental. I saw Dr. Grover. Some examples below: Their big focus was on SALES, recommending unnecessary work. The doctor was using scary tactics saying my wisdom teeth need to be removed because they are affecting my other molars; I am not a dentist, but I had my wisdom teeth for 15 years+ AND these are not affecting my other teeth at all and there is a gap with my other teeth allowing me to floss properly. The opinion of several other dentists (3 different dentists) that have seen my wisdom teeth was to leave them alone and if they give me issues (which they haven't), remove them. Also for the first time in my life I was recommended a deep cleaning. Registration is old school using pen and paper while any other office is electronic. It wasn.t evident that the equipment like the x-ray vest was properly sanitized, etc. Many many more little things like this. As for the STAFF, I couldn't see a more unenthusiastic team. Also, they DONT PICK UP the phone regularly if you need to get in touch with them. It will take you a while. The timing for everything was long as well. They had me sitting there doing nothing for long time at least an hour in total. Finally, I asked to speak with the dentist (Dr Grover), waited for several minutes, and he did not come to have a word with me. Staff said he was "busy". read more

I made an appointment at Pearl dentistry to have my teeth whitened this week with the Zoom whitening system.I ended up not going through with the procedure and the reason was because they were very honest with me and told me my teeth were already a fairly white shade and I would not notice much difference with the laser whitening. I have to say I am very impressed with the level of honesty! Additionally the hygienist explained to me that a lot of the clients experience much discomfort during the process and once the process is started there would be no refund. I had to pre-pay $350 when I arrive. The amount was voided back to me. While I was there Dr. Robison did a brief Examination of my teeth because I advised them that my regular dentist had found a slight crack in one of my molars. She took the time to explain to me what my treatment options are should I choose to do anything about the crack. She did give me a greenlight to get the whitening done but she concurred that due to the fact that my teeth were already fairly white It may not make much of a difference. The hygienist sent me home with a couple of syringes of whitening gel for me to try at home with my trays which I already owned. They didn't charge me anything even though I was there for probably over 30 minutes. I would definitely have to say that I appreciate the integrity of this office. I can't speak to any treatment because I actually did not have any but I would not have any issue going to them as opposed to my regular dentist should I decide to change in the future. read more

I took my 4 year old son to this office just recently and I have to say I was very impressed. As other reviews have said, Dr. Ibrahim is really great with kids and made my son feel comfortable by explaining what was going on and what he was going to do so that my son wouldn't be scared. It was really nice to see the doctor and staff actually cared. Everyone was wearing masks and were polite. Appointment didn't take long at all and office was very nice on the inside and looked updated. My son and I will certainly be returning patients here! When I walked in I was very impressed with the decor and how clean the office was, but of course that doesn't matter if the dentist sucks. The staff greeted me with a smile and answered all my questions. When I saw the dentist he was very nice and I didn't feel rushed, even better than my last doctor. The docs here are amazing, I love the staff, and it's such a beautiful and warm office. I did have to wait about 10 minutes which was a bit disappointing but I guess they may have been busy that day. The office is beautifully decorated, you can barely tell that you are in a dentist's office. There are plenty of magazines, tea, coffee, granola bars readily available to accommodate the patients. I walked into the office, signed in, filled out 4 quick pieces of paperwork, and BAM like clock work I was called to the back. One of the HUGEST factors I take into consideration is timing. I was taken care of immediately, I was seated in the dental chair and the xrays and exam were VERY prompt. The dentist explained in great detail what my issues were and is even taking the step to inform me about preventative work I can get done to avoid a root canal down the road. Never, have I ever had a dentist explain and take the time to really make sure I understood and make sure I felt like the only patient. Ruben is freaking awesome, he is super accommodating and is always recommended what is in your better interest. He even went the extra mile and recommended an awesome lunch place nearby since my boyfriend and I were talking about how starving we were. Went in to get my teeth cleaned, it had been about a year and a half since I had my teeth cleaned so they were not in the best of shape. Had my x-rays done and sat in the chair for an hour after that. Dentist came to look at my teeth before they even cleaned them, and said I recommend we do a deep cleaning since you have a lot of build up, and then left. Assistant came back with a quote which was way out of my price range and I said I cannot afford that right now, hello pandemic? She gave me this look like how dare you not have the money. I said I just wanted to get my teeth cleaned. She then basically told me since I refused to get the recommended expensive cleaning, they wouldn't even clean my teeth. I was amazed that they would refuse to clean my teeth and was furious. Brought my daughter (21) in for an emergency tooth extraction. Got a fast appointment next day. She was in extreme pain and very scared of needles. She was put at ease with local anesthetic and gas which relaxed her. She did great. She didn't have ins but pricing was reasonable and The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. With a tv and Netflix in every station it helps pass the time. Was so impressed and thankful I booked a cleaning for myself for Friday. Also was given info on the iSmile plan which offers discount on procedures. So far one of the worst cleanings I've gotten in my life. The hygienist is either very lazy or poorly trained. My teeth felt more clean before the office visit than it did leaving. I even contemplated asking them to void this cleaning so I could use my cleaning (that my insurance comps biannually) elsewhere. I was also pressured into getting multiple fillings done the same day. It may have been a strategic attempt to get more money into their pockets- but I fell for it. The office manager even came in to suggest that I needed teeth whitening. All my life, I've had people say my teeth are super white. I was at least smart enough to decline that offer. ***Dr. Patel, it is NOT ok to lay your tools on my chest. That is what your hygienist is for- to pass you the tools. I've never had this happen to me before and found it very unprofessional.*** My biggest suggestion to the business is to (instead of trying to pinch pennies) upgrade the obsolete X-ray machines and equipment. This did not come to my attention until Pearl Dentistry sent over my X-rays to my new dentist. My new dentist was confused on why they are using outdated technology. Don't be fooled by the "Heights" location and chic boutique style interiors. The quality of service you'll get here is not up to par. read more

I went to Pearl Dentistry after a friend recommended them... and I'm so glad that I gave them a shot. -Setting up the appointment was very easy, I just gave them a call and they scheduled me in. -First thing you notice when you walk into the office is just how amazing it looks; it's designed better than most people's homes. -Their waiting area has a Keurig machine, bottled water, donuts, and etc. -The staff is super friendly and professional; everyone was always smiling and looked happy to be there. -The rooms are also decked out with nice things: the chairs are comfortable; each room has a tv connected to Netflix (watched an episode of Daredevil, highly recommend the show); each room has a set of Bose noise canceling headsets; and etc. -Dr. Patel is AWESOME!
