Not one of these places made me feel confident about having clean clothes at the end of the wash because the machines and interiors of the places are gross, no matter which one you pick. I settled on this place simply because there were no other people there at the time. The area is sketchy, and you have to have cash so I low key thought I might get robbed. A guy with a grocery cart full of bags and electronics was skateboarding in the parking lot, and I took extra care to make sure I locked my car. There's no attendant in the business. If I were to do it again, I'd bring my own coins because the ones that came out of the change machine were grimey. Also, being a machine, it was a little finicky about the bills that it would accept. This laundromat only accepts $1 coins. There are two tables. The back table had a large piece of wood on it that looked like it broke off of somewhere behind one of the rows of machines. The front table had two folding chairs chained to the barred windows. The ceiling tiles are damaged, and I had fear of dropping any of my clothes on the floor (which inevitably happened and I thought about maybe burning, instead of washing, them). There are no rolling carts or baskets provided so you must have your own. I also don't remember any vending machines for detergent. I do remember looking at drink and snack machines that were totally empty. Hope never to have to do this again. Will buy a temporary, used machine from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist in the future.

The reason why I removed two stars is the customer service. I went in and this lady was blasting a radio or show full volume on her phone. There's nothing wrong with that, but what was wrong was that she just left it on while talking to me which caused a listening problem for her. Both my first and last name are very hard to spell if you don't have a lot of experience with Japanese name(s) so having to spell it out letter by letter is something I'm used to. But the fact that I was practically yelling at her over the counter trying to drown out whatever she was listening to in the background made me frustrated and anyone walking in would think I'm the bad guy. Eventually, she turned off her phone but that took too long when it should have been turned off when I walked in the establishment. To save me the aggravation of my last name, I just pulled out my ID so she could follow that. I also knocked another star off for no communication. She took down my name and phone number and gave me a date and time to pick-up and she said she would call when it's ready. Monday comes around...no call. Tuesday...no call. Eventually by Thursday there was no communication and my husband had to go in himself to pick it up, but who knows how long it's been ready waiting for us to pick it up. Maybe she didn't put my phone number in correctly because of the loud noise in the background as mentioned earlier. In the end, this was our second dry-cleaning experience in years and they get the work done but could really work on the customer service and communication.

Our hotel did not have laundry facilities so we sent our laundry off to Tama and it all came back clean, fresh, and neatly folded. I really appreciated how the underwear and socks were bagged separately. You can pick what detergent you want and they can accommodate for allergies. The turnaround time is defaulted to 48 hours, but I called and Brian was so friendly in changing our order to rush service along with explaining how pickup and drop off works. Got all our clothes back in 24 hours. We left our bag with the bell desk and did not have to wait around for the pick up/drop off. The online interface was extremely easy to use. Of course you are paying a premium above using a laundromat, but it is worth it while on vacation and for hassle-free service.

But the real kicker is they tagged one of the formal dresses and told me that some of the stains on there would probably not be removed (it was either an oil or sauce stain), I signed off on that disclaimer. When I received the dress back it looked as if they just ironed the dress along with all the stains. It didn't look like they even tried. At this point I succumbed to thinking the dress is already ruined and tried to remedy the stain issues myself. lo and behold, I was able to remove all the stains myself with the aid of Dawn dishwashing liquid and a good hand wash! After a dry and quick iron I realized I could have saved myself a lot of money and frustration. Also noting that their alteration prices are extortionately high! I inquired about the cost of hemming some pants and told the price and quickly negated the thought of bringing it here.
