Darrell's Coin Laundry...Immaculate, Friendly, and Mom-Approved It's been over 20 years since I've been in a laundromat, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but Darrell's Coin Laundry absolutely exceeded every expectation. This is one of the cleanest, friendliest, and best-run facilities I've ever seen. The whole place has a relaxed, safe vibe. They offer books and entertainment for kids, the machines are spotless, and there are plenty of baskets to help transfer your laundry. With a full-time attendant on site, you never have to worry about someone touching your clothes, rushing your load, or taking your dryer time. Huge peace of mind. Another big plus? You don't even need coins. Every machine lets you pay by QR code, credit card, or debit card, making the whole process faster and way more convenient. I also used this chance to teach my son a life skill...how to use a laundromat and handle his own laundry, because let's be honest... mom isn't always gonna be there to clean your dirty drawers. He learned, we laughed, and thanks to how organized and well-run this place is, the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for a clean, safe, modern, and genuinely customer-focused laundromat, Darrell's is it. Truly impressed! Pro Tip...last wash start is 7:30 PM read more

Easy machines to use! Clean inside and friendly staff! I would recommend a second spin to completely remove the water from the clothes as I felt my clothes were more on the heavier damp side. (For the clothes I like to hang dry, it was too damp) It was a great place to get my laundry done. Total was $40 for two loads, wash & dry. (light and darks) read more

We needed to wash bath mats and doggie beds and wanted to use an industrial size machine to make it easier. This place is so clean and there are so many machines. They have vending machines for snacks, drinks, and even laundry detergent/ softeners, etc. Not to worry, there's a change machine if you need quarters. Payment for the machines can be by credit or debit card, too. If you don't have cash. There are a lot of benches, too. So you can sit and wait; even watch TV while you wait. There's even a very friendly attendant working to help if you need. read more

The washer at work broke. I need to wash 6 full sets of twin sheets and a heavy fluffy blanket. Never in my life have I been to a laundromat. This was such a great experience for a first timer: the place was well ventilated, well lit, and so clean. In fact another patron let her baby crawl all over the place. I brought detergent pods which luckily I could use in the industrial machines. How nice, I've always told my boss we needed industrial machines. It only took 22 min to wash my laundry and I did 45 min to dry since I had the blanket. The machine take coins or card via QR code and you can set up and account for the establishment online. It even shows you how much time your machines have remaining. Laundry carts were clean, not rusted. Folding tables were clean and spacious. Plenty of seating and games and books to keep kids entertained. The best part was Corrine, the very helpful attendant. She was so sweet and so patient with me as I navigated using the laundromat for the first time. Will absolutely come back when I need to. The whole cost for me was $21. read more

Love that this place is modernized, takes credit cards, as well as coins, clean, has A/C, folding tables, sitting areas, laundry carts, lots of washing machines, dryers, available parking conveniently located behind the mall or by Shiro's. They have top load (I don't have the price and amount of time, but always taken) and the front load washers have different sizes that can take on 3-6 laundry baskets. Front load washers are 20 minutes, starting from $9.25. They have dryers of different sizes too and starts from $4.00 for 30 minutes. The attendants are so nice, helpful, they always clean the machines and area, make sure clothes/customers are in/out on a timely manner. So efficient! If customers don't empty it right away, they will do it and keep it on the side until it's claimed. Thank you Darrell's Coin Laundry, you guys provide excellent service and run a great laundromat! read more

Very clean facility and nice people working there. !!!!!!!!!

I just signed up for pickup and delivery laundry service, and honestly, I wish I had done it sooner! Darrel's Laundry was fast with pickup, had great communication throughout the whole process, and my clothes came back smelling SO good! Everything was fresh, clean, and ready to go. Definitely recommend! read more

We were so happy to find a flyer for Darrell's Coin Laundry in our hotel. We were wrapping up our vacation and needed just a few more days' worth of clothes to get us home. We ended up sending all our laundry (90+ lbs for my family of 5), and I'm so glad we did! Our clothes came back looking and smelling great, and the folding made it so easy to pack them from the basket straight into our suitcases. Thank you!! read more

My 1st experience since the new owner and renovation. Love how it looks inside with the updated machines. Also very clean. Don't have to worry about bringing change. The machines accept debit/credit and also able to pay with a QR code. read more

Darrell's Coin Laundry here in Ewa Beach has been nothing short of amazing. This was my first experience at a laundromat because my washer broke and they made this experience so easy. They constantly check on you to see if you need help - they asked because they saw my confusion. Efficiency: they ensure everything is clear and they're so welcoming to questions, comments, and feedback. The owner asked me about what I needed help with and when I brought up my concern about not having a sink, he gave me hand wipes and explained his predicament. Cleanliness: they clean / wipe down their washers and dryers CONSTANTLY. They find every opportunity to check each washer and dryer to ensure it is always clean and sanitized - which was my biggest concern using a laundromat. There is a certain stigma to laundromats and Darrell's certainly breaks that. Between the friendly and attentive staff when it comes to cleaning, to the amazing sanitation, I am extremely impressed. Ambience: as a laundromat you're not expecting them to have the setting of a spa. However, they have such beautiful decor showcasing Ewa Beach, as well as music to keep anyone calm while waiting on something so stressful (laundry). I am so grateful that this was my first experience at a laundromat and this experience has changed my perspective of them. Thank you to Darrell's and the staff! read more

Clean and cool, but a bit too "eyes-on" I stopped by here recently and the facility itself is great. It's definitely one of the cleaner laundromats I've been to, and the AC was blasting, which made waiting for my loads much more comfortable. They have plenty of security cameras inside and out, so it's pretty safe. However, the service was a little strange. One of the workers was hovering quite a bit. They actually stood there and watched me load my clothes into the machine, which felt pretty invasive. I understand wanting to make sure the machines are used correctly, but I didn't really feel like I had any personal space. It's a solid spot if you want a clean, cool environment to do laundry, but hopefully, the staff relaxes a bit. read more

This place has been renovated quite well and can be busy during nights. Dryers were kind of expensive and i could not pick my jaw up from the ground after seeing the price! But hey what was i expecting. Overall i would come here again because it is a clean environment. read more

They recently renovated the interior with new washers and free wifi. All the washers/dryers now take debit cards which in my opinion makes it very convenient. If you have to add dry time, you have the option to use your card or quarters. And the workers are very helpful and polite. read more

Clean, friendly, efficient and safe! It was a busy Sunday but I was able to use two washers and a dryer easily. Very clean facility with a welcoming vibe read more

Our dryer wasn't working all of a sudden and glad this place was semi near our house so I could finish up the rest of the laundry. Clean place and love that they take card instead of having to carry coins. It's $3.75 for 30 minutes to dry your clothes. I love that there is an attendant here walking around and helping the customers. Highly recommend if you are looking for a laundromat around the Ewa Beach area. read more

The upgrade and renovation are great! Dryers are a little expensive, but I appreciate the time we saved. Thank you for adding more seating. One suggestion: please allow customers to use your restroom! We needed to leave and find another restroom, and when we returned, our wet clothes were put directly into a laundry cart. I was told that other customers were waiting for a washer. I get it, but altogether washing and drying, I spent almost $100 there only to be told I couldn't use the restroom, and then my wet clothes were sitting in a dirty laundry cart. I see the sign that it's not for PUBLIC use, but we are loyal, paying customers. Please reconsider! read more

Great atmosphere here. Forgot your coin bag? No problem! The machines here, take card! Doing my laundry today and aunty handed my son a bag of school supplies. When my 20-year-old dryer broke down and my new one wasn't arriving until later this month, I needed a quick solution to get my laundry done before the workweek. I found this laundromat nearby and was pleasantly surprised. The facility is exceptionally clean, and their online system is intuitive and user-friendly. Signing up was quick, and I appreciated the convenience of paying with Google or Apple Pay. The system even sends text alerts when your laundry is done, which is a thoughtful touch. My jeans and towels dried faster than expected, and the owner was incredibly kind and attentive, even assisting an elderly customer with her laundry. It's rare to find such genuine customer service these days. If you're looking for a reliable, clean, and efficient laundromat with fair pricing, I highly recommend this place. Mahalo nui! read more

Very clean! Friendly and super helpful service! All machines are new and the best part?? You don't have to use coins! Each machine is assigned a QR code you can scan and use your machine. It will text you a link too so you can go back to check how much time you have on your machines. I believe there's an app as well that you can download and keep handy. So happy with what the new owners have done! Will certainly keep coming back! read more

I've been coming here for a long time under different managements and with this new management one time I was told there was a 2 max dryer usage (this was at night around 6 and it was overcast outside). I then followed up with an old timer employee and she said the it was implemented when it was raining or busy. Well today I'm here and apparently it is not implemented ( employee doesn't know shit about it and it is raining today) what the heck get your stories straight. read more

I recently used their wash and fold services for what would have probably been close to 8 loads of laundry with our home washer/dryer. From booking to delivery, it was such a great experience! It's super easy to schedule online and I was actually able to do it for a same day pick up. The pick up and delivery right from our house was super convenient and on time. They are very responsive and give you frequent updates. Everything came back smelling clean and fresh, sorted and folded by type and size (there are 5 of us in the house), so we could put it away quickly. If you are busy, working parents, or just anyone contemplating booking a service like this to save time or catch up, I can say this was 100% worth it. I will definitely be using them again! read more

This place used to be the best clean laundromat with the best customer service. Now it's run down by the most unprofessional, unpleasant lady or man or whatever that is working there!!! He/she is rude and has the worst attitude and customer service!! We've been a loyal customer, come twice a week and was even there on opening day and never had any issues but with this person there we'd rather go to the one in Waipahu. Darrell if you read this please get rid of this person/thing!! read more

I just wanted to point out the fact that at 705pm we were told we can't use the only table that is open near the big washers when the place doesn't close til 9p m. Very upsetting because the old lady that works specifically said because she has to clean that area.. Remind you its busyl and all other tables are taken? On top of this issue she is rude. Not helpful! No aloha! read more

First class operation. Just opened in February and it looks like they opened for business yesterday. Super clean, all Machines working, air conditioned and staff is always helping. From the small doorbell sound when you enter, the T.V to watch while you wait, the snack machine, the beverage machine, small arcade games, plenty of seating , multiple laundry carts and folding tables, Darrell and his team have done an amazing job on their attention to detail. They also do an in house drop off service as well as a pick up and delivery service. This place is legit. Well done! I drive out of my way to do my laundry here now. The standard has been set and this place is it read more

If i could rate these guys 10 stars I would!! I usually do laundry once every two weeks but with work being busy i haven't really had time to go to Darrell's Coin Laundry in person. I decided to try out the pickup and delivery service they offered and to say i'm satisfied is an understatement. Darrell, the owner, kept in constant communication with me whether be updates on laundry, estimated pickup and delivery times or some hiccups with payment. When i received the laundry, it was very neatly folded and separated into their respective categories (wok shirts, board shorts, pants, etc.) which made it very easy to put away. I will be a recurring customer for the pickup and delivery service when time is short. Mahalo Darrell & team for making my experience nothing short of amazing read more
