Took a pair of work boots for exchange on 12/4/25 that were less than 30 days from purchase and had…read morethe box and receipt. I explained the soles were not slip resistant as well as the boors were not water proof as marked, both were a requirement for my job. The young man at the counter insisted on arguing with me about the specifics of the waterproof rating of the boot. I simply asked if he would honor the store's return policy at which time an unidentified female employee(possibly manager) approached me and started yelling and screaming at me regarding the boots. She continued to argue with me about waterproof and non-slip ratings while I explained to her I have only worn them a few times and had almost slipped several times and my feet got soaked during a slight rain. I also explained I've had several different pairs of work boots from the store all which met the requirements I needed for my job unlike the boots I wanted to exchange. I was eventually helped by another female employee and was able to exchange the boots. While checking out, the first female attempted to apologize for yelling at me and during that conversation once again started yelling and talking over me and was extremely rude. I was thoroughly embarrassed and humiliated and do not think I was treated with respect nor as a loyal customer. I'm not sure the name of the female employee that helped me exchange my boots, but she is a great addition to That Boot Store, the other 2 employees are horrible and very rude

The purse was torn down one side and had oil stains on it. The gentleman (Mr. Creamer?) assured me he would do his very best on his free time, pay it extra special attention and did let me know it would not be returned to me perfect, however... but he'd do his very best. After receiving the message 3 weeks later to pick it up, I was a little disappointed that he said he could not repair it, but I was grateful all the same, and as I didn't make a purchase as there was no repair, I bought cologne just as a gesture. Little did I know that there was a reason I wasn't shown my purse and that it was tucked away in a plastic bag for me to take home. I realized my shoulder strap was missing. I called into him and he said he had it. I said I would come and get it. It was about a couple days later that I realized that he actually did try to repair the purse... and absolutely destroyed it beyond repair. It took me a couple days to finally muster up putting my purse away in the closet because I really did want it repaired. I could not wait to FINALLY carry it!! So, I looked up Dooney and Bourke and wanted to see if they could do something with it. When I went to photograph the purse for Dooney and Bourke to request a repair ticket... I can't describe to you. I cannot. There are not words to describe to you what he did to my purse. I cried for 3 days. I am feeling like crying writing this now. I cannot describe to you what I saw. The purse is absolutely ruined beyond repair now... and I am completely devastated. What he did to my bag is butchery. It was pure butchery and he just continued to butcher it. I don't understand. And it saddens me to have to state that. I mean absolute butchery. You cannot repair what he did. He didn't even show me it. If you're reading this, why couldn't you have atleast shown me what you did? Said sorry? Tried to explain? I told you with tears in my eyes how important that bag was to me. You didn't even show me my bag. Instead, you hid it away to not address it in a plastic bag. That was the first designer handbag I ever purchased myself, I told you that. I looked at it online for almost 3 years. I bought it with my best friend Laura, in cash, and cried and it was monumental to me. I did explain how it was damaged 3 days after it's purchase and I almost broke down to you explaining my story and the importance and significance and everything and finally having it repaired. You could have atleast shown me. You could have apologized. Or you could have left it alone if you couldn't do it. I told you I waited 2 years to have it repaired. I was in no rush. A simple I can't would have sufficed. I'm torn apart over this and I don't know how to ever make it right. I guess you can't. Something would have been nice. Something, because all I read... you sounded like such a grand man. You must have been so ashamed and that is why, but you broke a heart that didn't need to be broken and didn't even try to let me down. What an absolute misfortune. A woman came in with a Louis Vuitton after me looking for some repair or cleaning... I don't remember, but I can't not say something to others with precious belongings after this. These are not men's work boots needing repairs and new soles. These are beautiful leather handbags that most of us as girls dream about and are lucky if we ever even get to own one. You took away what I could have fixed of my fairy tale as a girl... a woman. This broke a piece of my heart in more ways words can describe. I can't even face you to get my shoulder strap. I just want to cry. I absolutely just want to cry.

My husband came into your store as paying customer. He was trying on a pair of boots for himself…read morewhile he was also purchasing a new pair for me. He was considering buying a second pair because he has shopped with your store before and was deciding on another purchase. Instead of being treated with basic respect, & decency he was publicly and falsely accused of stealing. The way your staff handled this situation was rude, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. There was no attempt to calmly clarify the misunderstanding, no respect shown, and afterward there was not even an apology offered for the embarrassment caused. Being falsely accused in front of others is degrading and unacceptable, especially when we were legitimate customers actively shopping and making a purchase. We understand stores need to prevent theft, but that does not justify treating customers in an inhumane or accusatory manner without facts. Situations like this should be handled with discretion, professionalism, and respect -- not public humiliation. We expect acknowledgment of how poorly this situation was handled and an apology for the false accusation and embarrassment caused to our family.

I felt racially profiled. I'm a hard working man. I drive trucks and I usually park next door at the wal mart because it's convenient. I purchased a pair of boots 2 weeks ago from the same store. Boots are on sale so I went back to get another pair. She proceeded to accuse me of putting a new pair on my feet while in the store. I will be taking further legal actions.
