I have purchased seceral shoes from this location over the years. I've never had the need to return…read morea pair, therefore I was not aware of their return policy. Today, I went to return a pair, the very nice young lady called for a manager (store policy, I guess for every return) and then she started to process my return, at that point she realized my return was outside their 60 day return policy. She explained the policy and I was like, oh ok I wasn't aware. We started putting the shoe boxback in a bag and by then the manager showed up, she didn't say a word. The clerk explained about the time frame, the manager shook her head no. She didn't day 1 word to me. I was actually ok with the policy, my fault I wait 2+months before returning, but the way the manager trated me was unacceptable. She then followed me a my husband while we shopped for another pair of shoes, just standing at the end of the aisle for about 5 min and watching is before finally moving on. As someone who does customer service, I find her manager skills lacking. The young lady that originally helped me is the only reason I stayed to shop.

I felt racially profiled. I'm a hard working man. I drive trucks and I usually park next door at the wal mart because it's convenient. I purchased a pair of boots 2 weeks ago from the same store. My husband came into your store as paying customer. He was trying on a pair of boots for himself…read morewhile he was also purchasing a new pair for me. He was considering buying a second pair because he has shopped with your store before and was deciding on another purchase. Instead of being treated with basic respect, & decency he was publicly and falsely accused of stealing. The way your staff handled this situation was rude, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. There was no attempt to calmly clarify the misunderstanding, no respect shown, and afterward there was not even an apology offered for the embarrassment caused. Being falsely accused in front of others is degrading and unacceptable, especially when we were legitimate customers actively shopping and making a purchase. We understand stores need to prevent theft, but that does not justify treating customers in an inhumane or accusatory manner without facts. Situations like this should be handled with discretion, professionalism, and respect -- not public humiliation. We expect acknowledgment of how poorly this situation was handled and an apology for the false accusation and embarrassment caused to our family.

There are far too many GIANT LOGO shirts that no one else wanted to buy - but looking between those items, there are a lot of stylish gems. I get a lot of my daughter's clothing here and occasionally find things for myself and my husband. They also have a varying stock of household items, shoes, tons of jewelry, and lots of purses. I'd give it 4 stars but it can be a bit unorganized and overwhelming, you have to sift through a lot of junk to get to the better items, and the employees often look downright miserable.

When staff member Amy Wiley finally replied, her tone was incredibly arrogant and outright dishonest. Instead of resolving the problem, she defended the store's unfair practice of retroactively changing the Return Policy (!) on items I had already purchased. Ignoring customers and lying about policies is completely unacceptable. Amy Wiley's dismissive attitude solidified my decision never to support this business again. Check the Return Policy from when I bought the two HOKA shoes; see the images. Nowhere does it state that SALE items are Not Returnable. The same with the listings. I have screenshots that were taken on June 15, 2026, from 9-10 PM. Amy Wiley sent me a screenshot of their Return Policy on June 16, 2026, which was obviously edited AFTER I bought the items I am returning. Disingenuous much?! Unbelievable!!

Shopping at Perspicasity was a highlight of my trips to the Florida panhandle, so much fun to be outdoors, right on the beach, and to move among the little booths, each with something different, and always an unexpected jewel. I never failed to find items I wouldn't see elsewhere. The new Cabana is just another clothing store. Might as well shop in a mall.
