However I signed the contract based on conversations I had with PSE employees, and was told I was to pay a deposit on (retainer) and then pay balance before getting final product. When I reminded PSE employee about the comments made, I was told that verbal comments are not the same as a contract. No they are not. So we decided not to do business, I found some other company in 30 minutes that does work on a deposit first and then balance before prints are provided policy. Yes I'm sorry we couldn't do business either. However I'm just used to verbal comments being the same as what's in the contract I sign. But appearently not this time. I'm sure PSE is not at all affected by losing one small client like me. Good luck to them as well. I'm not trying to say everyone gets treated this way by PSE. I'm just saying that was my experience, and wrote a review based only on my experience.

We appreciated that he pointed out a couple of things needing our attention but not having to do with the home's stability in case of earthquake. He then gave equal attention to the crawlspace, taking photos to show us what was down there. It was great to hear that our builder in 1981 had properly attached the upper construction to the foundation so that it didn't need any further reinforcement. We wanted to pay him for the two hours spent with us, but he refused saying it was part of the company's offer of a free inspection.
