He took the tire off, carefully checked for nails and leaks, and made sure everything was safe before I left. That level of care and consistency is exactly why I keep coming back and will never go anywhere else!! They treat you like family and always deliver high-quality work. Better late than never, right? This review is about three years overdue, but since Keith Slater, my…read moresalesperson at Galpin Lincoln, is still there, I wanted to give him the shout-out he deserves! When I bought my condo, I needed a car of my own. Galpin Lincoln had a car that caught my eye, so I set up a test drive with Keith. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The car was already charged and waiting in a convenient spot--no wasted time or frustrating searches like at other dealerships. Keith quickly handled the paperwork, and my brother and I were off on the test drive. I ended up buying the car, and the negotiation was straightforward. Keith was easy to work with and we landed on a fair price for the car I truly wanted. What stood out most was his honest and efficient approach. He wasn't pushy about extended warranties or add-ons; he understood I just wanted to get the car and get on with my evening. It was so refreshing to deal with a salesperson who was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating without any of that false friendliness. The entire purchase was quick and painless. I was in and out within a couple of hours, which is unheard of for car buying! I have to add, it was already 9 o'clock at night by the time I decided to purchase the car. So that probably had a lot to do with the quick process as no one wants to work oast closing time-Everyone wants to go home for dinner! However, Keith ensured the process was smooth and respected my time. Even though I live in Seal Beach and the drive to Galpin Lincoln is significant, if there's a car there that I really wanted, like a Jeep or a Bronco, Keith Slater would be my first call. I wholeheartedly recommend working with him! And I really like the fact that I keep getting postcards from him during holidays like July 4, my birthday, Xmas....It's a nice personal touch. He may not remember me however, I remember him and would be willing to work with him again and definitely recommend him! I did not write a full five stars because I really didn't spend much time at the dealership to know whether I would recommend it, if they had a variety of choices, if they were fairly priced, etc. I'm just basically writing the sales person!

I recently brought my car in for its 30,000-mile full service. The recommended service was completed, along with some repairs. Unfortunately, a couple of months later I developed a major brake issue. The Calabasas MINI team carefully evaluated the problem, identified the underlying issue, and addressed it thoroughly, professionally, and with the utmost care. I really appreciated how seriously they took the situation. I especially want to recognize Matthew Bull. He was extremely responsive to all of my questions, professional throughout the entire process, and kept me informed. Once my repairs were completed, they even arranged an Uber for me, which was greatly appreciated. I also want to acknowledge Carlos Rodriguez, who was kind enough to replace the battery in my spare key at no charge. Carlos is one of the familiar faces I remember from my many years with the dealership -- and when I say one of the "older faces," I definitely don't mean his age! It is actually wonderful to see some of the same people still working in the service department after all these years. I highly recommend the Calabasas MINI Service Department. The staff is friendly, courteous, professional, and genuinely cares about their customers. The vehicle was delivered with multiple…read morepre-existing defects, leaking valve cover, faulty rear camera, cracked rim, defective headlight just to name a few. The post-sale resolution has been entirely unacceptable. The Facts: * Day of Purchase (5/5/26): Noticed fresh oil dripping under the car. Sales staff (John Walker) stated it was merely spillage from a recent oil change and explicitly verified the car had zero leaks. The car was also delivered with less than a half-tank of gas. * May 10, 2026: Low tire pressure warning lights activated. * May 14, 2026: A professional tire shop confirmed the rear driver-side rim was cracked and leaking. They noted it had a previous, temporary weld job that failed. Video evidence was immediately sent to the dealership. * May 12, 2026: Dashboard alerts indicated the engine oil was low. After adding the requested quart, the digital gauge read zero oil by the end of the day. A certified mechanic confirmed an active valve cover leak. The repair invoice totaled $`2,090.90. * Passenger Headlight Defect: The passenger headlight housing has severe water intrusion and internal condensation, causing a major electrical short circuit. The malfunction overrides the manual dashboard switch settings, forcing the headlight to remain permanently turned on and draining the battery unless the fuse or main battery terminal is physically disconnected. * Resolution & Communication: Once physical proof of these defects was sent, communication from the dealership slowed down significantly. While a replacement rim was eventually provided (dealership would not ship, I had to drive two hours to pick up) weeks later, it was the entirely wrong size and for a different vehicle model, making it completely unusable. When contacted the dealership owner Steve to resolve the $2,090.90 leaking valve cover invoice, Steve refused to cover any repair costs. I was told that this vehicle was the cheapest car on their lot compared to their exotic inventory, and that I should be satisfied with the incorrect rim they provided. Conclusion: Be highly cautious!!! Customer service abruptly stops once financing clears. Expect to absorb thousands of dollars in immediate, unbacked repair costs for mechanical and electrical defects that should have been resolved prior to sale.

I drove in for a regular oil change, and the drive-in line to wait was fairly long. (The line as in the wait outside was nearly 10 minutes). Back home, the wait is often less than 5 minutes to be seen by a staff member. Once my car was finally in their hands, I realized the staff member helping me out never introduced their name. We walked into their office, and I'm almost certain there was an attempt to take advantage of a youngster. During the meeting, the staff member tried to sell extra services like tire rotations, when I only wanted a regular oil change. There wasn't even a suggestion to do this service, just a casual "People usually do this" - a fast money grab from a customer whom may be underinformed. My "no" met with disdain and a quick look of disgust as the staff member handed me a form to sign. The form signed was for service $109.99. At the top, I saw a line saying "Cash" and asked if it were cash only... surprisingly the service representative had never even noticed this and didn't know how to respond - just said to sign it. During the wait, there are some usual beverages and a few chocolate chip cookies available for anyone waiting for their service. Overall, this probably takes the cake as the worst service experience I've ever had with Lexus. I'm not sure if this is important either, but some of their materials (e.g. service mileage reminder) say Lithia - though it may be their official name or something, I think a Lexus sticker would've made me more relieved... but after the experience with the service rep, I wanted nothing more than to be done with the service visit.
