While I haven't used VAB's services, their approach to the market is timely and right on point…read more The traditional way of buying and selling airplanes went away after 9/11 and they made airports like maximum security prisons. Before you could park your car, walk the flight-line, pick out a plane and deal as you would buying a new Ford or Chevrolet. The folks at VAB have obviously brought the used airplane business out of the dark ages and into NOW. The internet has clearly changed everything and it's great to see VAB on top of their game in all of this. I believe the fact they are off-airport is a benefit as they can concentrate on business (selling planes) and avoid all the coffee shop hangar talk that takes a lot of time (yes is fun) but eats up the day.

I don't usually leave reviews for a dealership, but I had to recognize the excellent customer…read moreservice I received from Stephanie at the Tesla Service Center in Long Beach. Please keep these 5 star employees of the company. I've been trying to replace the front window regulators on my Model X, and apparently not every Tesla Service Center keeps these parts in stock. A mechanic suggested I try the Montebello location, so I called to see if they had them before making the drive. Unfortunately, I was told they couldn't check inventory or contact the parts department and that I needed to go online. Wanting to make sure I got the right parts, I stopped by the Long Beach Service Center instead. Even though I didn't have an appointment, Stephanie went above and beyond to help. She took the time to check inventory, ask around, and made sure I was able to get both of my window regulators. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely cared about helping me. That level of customer service is hard to find these days, and she's exactly the kind of employee Tesla should value. Thank you again, Stephanie, for making what could've been a frustrating experience a great one.

My car was towed there due to the high voltage battery dying completely after 3 years of purchase. I was unable to gather my belongings since the car was dead. I had a pair of high end GUCCI sunglasses worth $459, inside the arm rest hidden compartment. I couldn't get them or any of my belongings when the car was towed. I picked up my car after 3 weeks of them "replacing the battery" and the first thing I noticed when I opened my door was that all my belongings were moved and the GUCCI glasses were gone! When I walked to the rep and let him know my glasses were missing, he said I might have them at home and I should ask my husband. What?! He kept making it seem like I lost them elsewhere, making sarcastic remarks. He said he would ask the technician. He came back and said the technician said "he didn't take them". Then he said people make claims all the time. He was so nonchalant. I asked to see the manager and he said "sorry". Then he said I should have taken all my belongings. I explained to him that the car was locked due to the battery being dead and just stood there saying "sorry, the technician said he didn't take them". I am so disappointed at these people. Those glasses have a sentimental value aside from the price paid and I cannot believe I had to go through this.

The L6 is an odd creature but, Pelican got him all the parts he needed and the car after being mothballed for 32 years runs again. I bought the Coverking car cover from Pelican because I love Their passion for customer care. My wife has a '88 Carrera Cab, triple black with 64K and she had the car parked in Santa Monica by the Valet and I had to put a new clutch in it and that is how I found Pelican Parts. Great how to articles and great advice. ( They actually answer the phone and can connect you with suppliers so,all of your questions are answered) Why would anyone go anywhere else. This is the best place to buy stuff for your Porsche, Audi, BMW (and sometimes Lexus). I am looking forward to SEMA certifying federal Catalytic converters so we have a more affordable option in California for our older cars that have a problem passing smog in California. Also looking forward to Leno's law passing so our vintage cars don't need to be locked into the 1974 model year and before not to be smogged.

Do not buy Tesla's from Prime Sales in Huntington Beach…read more Bought a 2021 Tesla Model Y in June. I ran into trouble - the car was marked as salvage by Tesla, which means you can't charge it on supercharger and all warranties are voided. The car was bought by them through an IAAI auction with clean title. This is not the only case, I can only explain this with they little experience with Teslas from auctions, they must have known that this happens. The auction rules clearly state this. The car was sold as "under warranty", as a result, a month later it was possible to return the charge only (thank you!). With a guarantee, everything is still unclear, now the 8-year warranty has been canceled. The guys help to solve the problem in few first weeks, I am very grateful to them. But I (and they) spent a lot of time and nerves on this. And zero results. I recommend checking the warranty in the Tesla app before buying any used tesla and request the most recent reports on the day of your purchase (!!) from NMVTIS (you can do it free online in 5 minutes on carsforsales!). Total: I paid market value for a clean title car and got a salvage car, as a result, I have to spend hours begging Tesla to return my warranty (Spoiler: they will not return it). Supercharger been restored and removed again. I offered them 4 options at once to solve the problem (by email) - Prime Sales did not respond to my proposals and continued to insist that they would solve the problem. It's been 2.5 months and nothing.
